I’ve stayed in hundreds of Hotels over Europe and this was an excellent experience. Very helpful and friendly Staff, went above and beyond for us. The location is excellent and please don’t miss the Restaurant Tamtam across the street, the best in Chania in my opinion. I travel with my two teens everywhere and I rarely sleep deeply but here I fell fast asleep and slept through the night. Extremely comfortable beds! I didn’t want to leave but we had flights to catch. I’ll absolutely book here again. Nothing. There’s even an elevator if you don’t want to manage the stairs.

Le petit dej est fait sur place il est complet et très bon Il n'y avait personne pour nous donner les clefs et les indications pour les récupérer ne nous avaient pas été données. Un peu de stress à l'arrivée et tout s'est arrangé par la suite

• Guest (7/5): Enjoyed and would come back! - Beautiful location and well appointed rooms! The breakfast, while very minimal, was nice that it was included. Our room included a balcony, which was my favorite part of the accommodation. We had booked two rooms each with two beds, and both rooms had the beds pushed together. We requested that they be separated, and while the request was eventually fulfilled, it took a bit of a back and forth with management. We were confused because we had originally requested two beds in each room, so unsure what the fuss was about. Glad that they did eventually resolve it. We also were disappointed that a couple of curtains were missing in our room, which meant no light dimming for the room. We also requested this be mitigated as the sun was waking us up very early in the morning, however this was not resolved during our stay.

• S (10/5): Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Chania! - Great location! We could easily walk to all the best restaurants in Chania within 15 minutes at most. Even though the hotel is in a busy area, our room was perfectly quiet. The staff were all so lovely, always happy to help and incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend!

• Welburn (9/5): Overall, it is a nice place but I think they should have given us a discount because of the hot tub - The room was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was awesome. The hot tub didn't work. They said it was repaired on the second day we were there, but it never heated up. We told George, at the front desk but he said he checked it and it was working. It never did heat up. The water was cold all day, evening and the next morning as well. So, we never got to relax in the hot tub, which was one of the reasons we booked this room. That was disappointing. The parking situation is also a nightmare. They indicated that there is some public parking nearby, but it is very limited. We actually ended up getting a parking ticket because we parked in what we thought was the free public parking, but it was for residents only. I don't know how anyone could visit Crete without getting a rental car. To stay near Chania is tricky for sure.

• Anne (9/5): Helpful and friendly staff, good location and a nice cooked breakfast. - The individually cooked element of the breakfast were excellent and the lady who made them was very friendly and accomodating. The staff on reception and the chamber staff were very friendly too and the rooms were cleaned and supplied with care. Daily water bottles in the fridge etc. The hotel in the old town was in an excellent location and was very nice. Our room was a lovely size and comfortable, with a little kitchenette. There is a nice roof terrace with a helpful clothes dryer. Chaina is very beautiful with friendly people and there is a lot to do there. The triple room had very little natural light. You couldn't tell that it was daylight in the morning. For some mistaken reason I thought there was a balcony but it is a window ledge with a rail. I couldn't dry clothes there because the space is a long way down a shaft where the sun doesn't shine. However there was a handy clothes dryer on the roof terrace (just needed a few more pegs.) We did see into other rooms which were much brighter - like I say ours was a lovely big size and very comfortable, The hotel was lovely. It just wasn't really the right room for us.

Gleiches Personal, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Seit letztem Jahr gab es eine Änderung bezüglich Frühstück. Neu ist es beim Eingangsbereich vom Hotel im Parterre. Das Buffet und die frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen durch eine Köchin sind gut. Nur das Ambiente drinnen (anstelle früher bei der direkt anliegenden Taverne im Freien mit Blick auf die Hafenbucht und mit viel mehr Auswahl) hat dadurch gelitten. Schade, doch wir kommen trotzdem wieder.

There was no contact number left for me to obtain keys. It was the owner of the next door restaurant helped out as she knew the combination of the outside key safe. Could do better for late arrivals as they were informed of my arrival time.

The breakfast was satisfying and delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Located right in the heart of old city, the hotel made everything easily accessible. We were very pleased with our stay – thank you!

• Eleni (10/5): Ολα ήταν υπέροχα. Δωμάτιο ήσυχο και καθαρό- τοποθεσία η καλύτερη στην καρδιά της παλιάς πόλης - πρωινό στην τιμή( πολύ σ - Όλα ήταν άψογα! Μπορείς ίσως να κατατάξεις στα αρνητικά το πάρκινγκ. Υπάρχει χώρος για το αυτοκίνητο στη κοντινή πλατεία Ταλω. Οι θέσεις είναι περιορισμένες κάτι όμως αναμενόμενο για όλους τους επισκέπτες της παλιάς πόλης. Δεν θεωρώ πως πρέπει να αποτρέψει κάποιον για την επιλογή του ξενοδοχείου.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel's elegant atmosphere and its prime location in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. Our room was a haven of comfort and style. The attention to cleanliness was remarkable; everything was impeccably maintained from the bathroom to the living space. The comfortable bed and quality linens ensured peaceful nights after exploring the city. What truly sets Palazzo Duca apart is its exceptional service. George and his team go above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. Their local knowledge and recommendations helped us discover the best spots in Chania. The location is simply unbeatable - just steps from the beautiful Venetian Harbor, surrounded by charming streets, excellent restaurants, and lovely shops. We loved our evening walks along the harbor, watching the sunset while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the area.

It is steps from the port and is close to everything in the old town Staff were very caring and went out of their way to facilitate our hike in the Samaria Gorge. The breakfast was very pleasant, with excellent choices including local pastries and dishes. Excellent espresso. We loved this hotel. I really cannot think of anything that could have been better.
• Katja (9/5): Viihtyisä hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla. - Aamiaisen valikoima oli pieni mutta laadukas ja kekseliäs: mansikoita, bruschettoja, lettuja, jogurttia, hunajaa ja voileipiä. Tilauksesta sai munakkaita ja erikoiskahveja. Keittiössä työskennellyt rouva oli ihana ja avulias. Mukavat sängyt, hyvä ilmastointi. Sijainti erittäin kiva. Yhteydenpito hotelliin sujui hyvin. Meillä oli huone toisessa kerroksessa sisäpihalle päin, eikä ollut liian kuuma helteestä huolimatta.
• Christopherson (8/5): - The room with a private hot tub was awesome. The staff are not always on site. They give you a suite access card and an outside door key. Just make sure to take the key when going out, even during the day.

• Sophia (9/5): - Well located and super clean. Beautifully renovated. Owners take pride in the property. The property was great. I’d stay there again. Did not like Chania as much as I thought. Very touristy, hot, overpriced food and distances between sights require too much time in the car. Would not return to the town.
• xiaomeng (9/5): 舒适 - 酒店位置很好，出门就是老码头，老城区景点举步可达，周边吃饭的地方也很多，我订的房间，阳台不临街，虽然看不到风景，但晚上非常安静，能睡个好觉还是很重要的。离酒店推荐的免费停车点大概走路5分钟，如果你有大件行李，还是有些挑战，不过好消息是酒店有电梯，考虑到老城区里的酒店基本都是老房子改的，所以这个含金量还是很高的。酒店早餐比较简单但味道不错，还可以提供现做的煎蛋饼或者煎蛋培根。服务人员都很热情，点赞。整体还是很值得推荐l另外晚上回来晚的话，酒店一楼的大门可能已经关了，你可以走旁边的楼梯从2楼的门回房间，也可以招呼酒店旁边饭馆的服务员帮你开一楼的大门 花洒略显简陋
