Guest Reviews
- Jane (1/5): - Having booked a two night stay, we were turned away at the door, leaving me, three teenagers and a dog to try to find alternative accommodation in the height of the season.
We had to give up on our plans for the weekend and drive home.
I have yet to work out how to request a refund from booking.com See above
- Carol-ann (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Great place. Very friendly and clean. Very dog friendly Nothing

- Andrew (1/5): Bad - The location was about 5 minutes from the central pier and the owners of the hotel were accommodating at first. The room was very poor and in bad condition. There was a hole in the ceiling due to damp. One of the electric sockets was bulging out the wall again due to damp. There was a constant musty smell. The bunk bed they provided filled the room so you could not move very well. The top bunk of the bed was very weak and unfit for sleeping on. Then to top it all the main lights in the room stop working.
There was black mold around the joins of the shower cubicle.
It was that bad we packed up and left after the first night.
- Raheem (10/5): Amazing value clean comfy hotel 5/5 - Excellent location with free parking outside . Lovely spacious room with clean comfy bed and they even supplied towels which at there low prices would not expect. Thank you to all the staff for making me and my dog so welcome and treating me like the family . N/A

- Tracey (10/5): So friendly and welcoming - Fantastic and welcoming
We have stayed here a couple of times now.
Great facilities, we used the pool table and slept well , 2 adults 1 teen, 2 german shepherd's (including their double crate) just snuggled up nicely in room 3.
We took so christmas decorations to add to the christmas feel on our return stay in December.
So close to the beach, the dogs were on it 06:30 every morning running their hearts out.
Chinese just across the road is amazing too. Leaving.
- Annemarie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sandra (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good tv great Netflix lot channels on it Internet good Room small dog smell in room carpet bit where for worse very basic for what u get price could been cheaper
- Jodi (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff, lovely room, comfy bed. The staff messaged with their number if we needed anything. Will be staying again soon.
- June (2/5): Won't be going going back - The staff was ok but it was the room leaking in and the lights didn't work cause of the leak dripping down from the light bulb. There was a very bad leaking and the bed so soaking and the bed head board was snapped
- Gary (8/5): Very good - Clean and tidy room comfortable bed hot shower staff was lovely and also let she leave stuff and come back for it later after we checked out
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (9/5): Cheap and cheerful with super comfy bed! - We had a bunk bed in the room which wasn’t what we expected but it was a double at bottom and single on top and was one of the comfiest beds I have ever stayed in! Hotel or what it says on tin cheap room to get your head down after exploring the town - excellent location as very central!
- Mccormick (1/5): Bad - Location No hot water
Unable to see tv from bed and only 1 chair for 2 people room so small only one person could walk around at any given time .carpets covered in dog hair hole in ceiling booked twin room and got bunk beds top bunk felt unsafe so Unable to use it photos on booking . Com are not of the hotel we stayed in and the rating given on booking.com is a joke I wouldn't rate it above a 2 we booked for 2 nights and left at 3am on the first night the room was stuff and uncomfortable and the window didn't open .This b&b is falsely advertised
- Nixon (5/5): For the price u get what u get but would of been a much better stay if we had heating - staff were lovely and room was clean so good value for money for what we got happy with the WiFi and amenities in the room We had no heating at all and were there Friday to Monday and it’s dec so cold we had to buy extra blankets from primark there was a massive bubble and a hole in the ceiling from a leak was damp at the window
- Teresa (1/5): Bad -
- Brogan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional - Value for money and friendky hosts. Excellent location
- Geoff (8/5): Very good -
- Geoff (8/5): Very good -
- David (1/5): If you want to relax don’t stay here - Nothing Smell of weed. Dirty cramped rooms. Flaking paint and torn wallpaper. Noisy and violent other guests
- George (1/5): We stayed 15 minutes and had to pay £66 for an hotel down the road this place should not be on booking.com - wonky towers is the right name for this b and b there is nothing to like The room was very small for two people the wardrobe was wonky ready to fall apart the toilet did not work the review and picture on booking.com was not right
- Mrs (8/5): Nice budget base to stay to explore Blackpool - The location was brilliant shops and tower within a short walk .
Upon arriving the host a lady was lovely told us all about the struggles of taking over the building and trying to do it up .I had messaged before hand to ask for a quiet room as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary ,also that I was disabled & needed to know if I could park outside which I could. We was greeted by a bottle of Prosecco which we were very touched & greatful for .
The stairs up to the room which was in the top floor were a bit of a struggle but we managed.
The room was small but nice and clean .. kettle tea coffee sugar & milk provided and also soap & body wash in the bathroom.
Tv with access to streaming services although the free WiFi was hit & miss.
Didn’t see anyone other than the son of the owner (who was a very polite young man ) who wished us happy anniversary & had left the WiFi code on a piece of paper stuck to our door )when we came back in on our first day .
when we checked out my husband was told to leave the keys back in the door by a man downstairs ?
Would love to see the place when all the work is completed . When we entered the b & b it was very dark & musty …our room was very small and again a bit musty the bed was so uncomfortable we both suffer with arthritis and back problems which was made worse by the bed as the mattress was so springy & lumpy but we did understand they are trying to replace and decorate etc almost single handily as the lady we spoke with explained which is why we understood .
For what we paid for the room for 2 nights we didn’t expect a palace and the room was lovely & clean and I sprayed some fabric freshener around and that was much better .
We felt so sorry for the lady as she said the boiler had packed up so had provided a plug in radiator which we didn’t need as the room was very warm so we had the window wide open .
- Stevi (10/5): Our stay was amazing. The owners were so helpful and welcoming especially there son James who helped us set up the tv an - It was spotless, the most comfortable bed ever. It was central and easy to find. And most important it was dog friendly
- Jamie (8/5): Very good -
- Bryan (8/5): Very good - Location was great, staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble N/A

- Sheila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suzanne (5/5): Passable -
- Lana (7/5): Good -
- Aston (9/5): Superb - The owners have just taken the property on and have gone above and beyond for me lovely family. They are in the process of making it there own and doing the hotel up as they go. Theres nothing not to like the customer service is excellent its clean an tidy and the value for money aspect is brilliant.
Ideal for me with working up here would stay again!
- Hollie (9/5): Great location, great helpful staff, good value for money - Location was great, nice and close to the main attractions in the centre of Blackpool. Sadly, the guests previous to us had broken the latch off the window so we couldn't shut it- the staff did make a point of coming to tell us and offered us a heater if we wanted it - we weren't cold but the street outside had a lot of noise. We were very tired so it wasn't too much of a deal.
- Glenn (1/5): Absolutely disgusting & can’t believe the owners are Evan allowed to open & run a guest house & charge to st - Apart from the location & closeness to the seafront & attractions, absolutely nothing. Don’t waste your money book & go elsewhere the pictures on booking.com are obviously from years ago we had 6 of us staying in 4 rooms & the place is a dump & the owners very very rude & obviously very lazy. The place is a hellhole & shouldn’t be allowed to be open, it’s dirty, smelly, filthy conditions with mould growing on the walls, no hot water, radiators not working, wires hanging out of the walls dirty stained wallpaper holes in the wall & no handles on the windows & the rear fire exit blocked with bags of rubbish!
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alana (7/5): Good - The property was good great for the price staff were great they are doing it all up at the moment so will look even better
- Sean (8/5): Very good - Run by a very friendly family. They couldn't do enough. Nothing really.Apart from stairs. But that's us being a bit older lol
- Adele (6/5): Alright for the money I suppose - Great central location Funny smell in the room, no full length mirror, no where for clothes too go
- Jeremy (2/5): Disappointing - Great location close to central attractions . Friendly hosts . Managed to get free on street parking outside the hotel as it was Sunday until 9 am Monday Given the personal circumstances of the hosts at the time and the fact that they have only recently taken over the hotel I feel it would be harsh to criticise too much based on our experience , suffice to say I would not want to stay there again in it's current state and wish them luck with the refurbishment which the hotel badly needs
- Stuart (10/5): Lovely “family run” hotel…. The hosts will go the extra mile for you, the nicest people to stay with in the whole of - Very helpful and accommodating for me and my little pooch Nothing to dislike, it’s great here
- Margaret (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sandra (8/5): Very good - Friendly service very helpful
- Kacey (5/5): Worth the money great location - Great location lovely family which have recently taken over the property and are currently trying to refurbish. No warm water so had to have a cold shower and there was no one about at 10am for checkout anywhere.
- Juliet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gallagher (7/5): Great value for money - The location was spot on, the owner is really nice, the price was very budget friendly and the amenities where a nice bonus (kettle, mugs, tea, coffee and a TV) Due to the age of the building the ‘common areas’ ie the game room and the hall/stairs have a really Smokey/musky smell but it didn’t carry into the bedroom
- Bryan (10/5): Lovely gem in the heart of blackpool - We were met with a warm welcome, lovely couple, couldn't do enough for us
Great location very near the shopping centre, beach, and pier
- Katelyn (10/5): Super pet friendly. And so comfortable & welcoming - They were so friendly with my XL bully! Greeted him every time he walked past them, room was clean & was very comfy. Nothing to dislike !
- Zeena (7/5): A lovely family run B&B! 100% recommend staying here! - Staff were very friendly. A family owned B&B. The B&B was super close to all the attractions in Blackpool & close to the town centre, which was all walking distance. The staff were very helpful and provided me all the information I needed. I know that the B&B are going to work on updating the rooms but no negatives. With a new look and the rooms being updated. It will be even better!
- Patrick (1/5): Bad - Sorry very disappointed Very disappointed in everything. It made me very stressed had come home early
- Jenny (5/5): Basic accommodation which should improve as they start to finish the work on the rooms. - Location was good
Family owned and run The leak in the bathroom
- Jordan (8/5): It was amazing. I loved it. - How nice the staff were and how close to town it was. Bathroom extraction fan was leaking.
- Ayoola (2/5): did not meet expectation -
- Laura (1/5): Unbearable - Not a lot Dirty smelly and over priced
- Mark (1/5): Bad - Need total refutb back yard cleaning, and rubbish removing , Good location
- Dave (1/5): Bad - Didn't like anything, checked in early, shown to the room and was told we had the best room in the place!! I beg to differ, the room was really small, a double bed put in a single room, it wasn't really clean either scuff marks on the wall, dirty skirting boards and carpet, left our bags there and I returned an hour later to collect them and found another hotel to stay in, there were two blokes sat outside who were seasoned residents living there full time paid for by universal credit, the place smelled of cannabis weed, Do not stay here, this property should be removed from every hotel website Didn't like anything
- Mohammad (10/5): Brilliant stay thank you - Excellent location room value for money easy no issue check in, hot shower, smart TV excellent very happy thank you. Absolutely liked everything for value no complaints will definitely book here again

- Bernadette (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (8/5): A good night - The young lad that greeted us was very respectful and professional
- Adrian (6/5): Pluses and minuses - Location excelent for what l needed. Verry small rooms, shower space, and space between beds.
Cleaning wasn't so good
The space between main room dors is very small.
- Christiana (10/5): Nice place to stay. - The staff were very friendly. No thing went wrong.
- Matthew (9/5): Comfortable, accommodating, good value for money. - The owners were friendly, chatty, and very accommodating. Considering they had only just taken over the property and they were still working on the place we had a great time, it was comfortable and quiet, and only a very short walk to the front and the secure long stay car park. Very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and good for the price we paid. Would go back and stay again. Nothing we didn’t like, look forward to seeing it when it’s all been re-done.
- Eamon (3/5): Cheap and nasty - Location... The type of bed ... felt like sleeping in a coffin... television in the wrong place could not see when laid on bottom bed...
- Robertson (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent welcome. Friendly staff. Nothing to dislike.
- Pete (7/5): Good -
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shaun (8/5): Very good -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wilson (2/5): Won’t be back - A warm welcome from owners Decor of room was dated and dirty. The bathroom was dirty. The tv stopped working and no access to WiFi until 10:30 at night. No lamp in the room so had to sit with the big light on until going to sleep. Very noisy and could hear next room occupants conversation very clearly.
- John (7/5): Good -
- Elaine (7/5): Comfortable and friendly. - I was a little surprised to be greeted by two young lads, who seem to be the sons of the proprietors, but I can't fault their friendliness and efficiency. The place felt comfortable and homely. It had everything I needed, and I will definitely go back. The mattress seemed to slope a bit. Also the bed was very low and a little hard to stand up from. (It was a double bunk bed in a family room, which was the only option left.) I couldn't see any information about the WiFi displayed anywhere.
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irtsam (10/5): Exceptional -

Different room given than booked but better than expected. The noise at night .
