- Wendy (10/5): Immaculate Apartment Rome! - Everything! 🫶🏽
•The Aristocats Apartment was as beautiful, immaculate and spotless as in the images. •Raffaele & Matteo were excellent hosts and it is clear they have put so much effort and attention to detail in the styling and design of this fabulous - high end apartment with beautiful fixtures & fitting for the comfort of their guests.
•Little touches such as a bottle of sparkly in the fridge, the high quality and modern design crockery & cutlery etc, the selection of Rome guide books to the steamer!
•The balcony was fantastic with the view of the Vatican dome which was just minutes away. Set in a typically Italian area it was great to immerse in Italian living, with all amenities close by and a great list of local
recommendations from the boys.
•I would definitely recommend this stunning apartment and personal hope to return there on our next stay in Rome! Having to leave!
- Matthew (10/5): A hassle free short break in Rome - Superb location ideal for exploring Rome, with some excellent recommendations for food.
Great transport links - walkable access to everywhere you may wish to go.
- Steven (10/5): “A spacious, beautifully designed apartment with luxurious details, stunning views of St Peter’s, and outstanding hosts - Staying at this apartment in Rome was truly an incredible experience from start to finish. The apartment itself is huge, with a wonderfully spacious layout and even a second bedroom, making it ideal for families, friends, or anyone who appreciates a bit of extra room while travelling. Every corner of the space has been thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated, with such attention to detail that it feels like stepping into a luxury boutique hotel. The interiors are very high-end, with stylish furnishings, elegant touches throughout, and modern features like smart TVs in the rooms for added comfort and convenience.
The highlight for me was the balcony – the view of St Peter’s Basilica is absolutely breathtaking and makes the whole stay unforgettable. Whether in the morning light or lit up at night, it’s the kind of view you’ll never get tired of. It’s also incredibly Instagrammable – every little detail in the apartment, from the décor to the views, is picture-perfect and feels effortlessly stylish.
The bathroom and facilities were top-class – modern, spotless, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making sure guests feel comfortable and well looked after.
A huge part of what made the stay even more special were our hosts, Matteo and Raffaele. They greeted us warmly at the apartment, showed us around, and made us feel instantly at home. Their hospitality and attention to detail really elevated the whole experience.
Without hesitation, I can say this is one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in Rome. It combines luxury, comfort, and unbeatable views in a way that’s hard to match. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in the city. Everything was perfect.
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Philip (10/5): A fantastic apartment, close to the centre in a quiet residential area. - Apartment was great and has recently been renovated and redecorated!
Aircon in both bedrooms and the sitting area meant we could get relief from the stifling heat we experienced during our stay (36-38°)!
A great location - very close to the Vatican and in what we felt to be a safe, and predominantly residential, area.
A good selection of local restaurants - which provided options without having to go far. Matteo & Raffaele offered some good recommendations as well.
As hosts, Matteo & Raffaele were great! Very quick to address any issues we had and always helpful in every way possible. They have done a lovely job in decorating and equipping the apartment. Nice being on the top floor - less noise and a great view of the St Peter’s Basillica!
A 30min walk gets you to most of the key sites but a selection of buses operate from just round the corner and take you beyond, or if you simply prefer not to walk.
Options for the metro were limited and involved a 20min walk! But the single charge fare made it a good way to travel.
Freenow app seemed to provide cheaper options for taxis, to those offered by Uber.
Would definitely recommend if you’re ever consider a visit to Rome! Nothing
- Guest (10/5): Quiet peaceful interlude in the shadow of St Peter's. - Quiet 6th floor room above a quiet street. I slept with the windows open. Spotlessly clean and completely updated. Within view of St Peter's Basilica. Would stay again. Beautiful blue tiles in bathroom. Now that we have brought it to the host's attention I'm sure the host will provide more explicit directions on how to operate the stove.
- Emma (10/5): A super apartment for a short stay in Rome with comfort, style and a stunning view of St Peter’s Basilica. - The location is excellent and the apartment is very stylish and comfortable. There is a stunning view of the dome of St Peter’s Basilica from the balcony. The owners are very accommodating and helpful, and provide great restaurant suggestions!
- Joshna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Igor (10/5): Great location. - Great and peaceful location, close to everything you need.
Accommodation was very clean and comfortable.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - A truly exceptional property situated in the shadows of St Peters basilica. From first contact right up to checkout we couldn't have been more impressed.
The two hosts have meticulously styled this amazing property to reflect the magical city of which it is situated.
If you are thinking about a stay in Rome then you will not be disappointed at Aristocats Apartment.
Thank you Nothing!
- Catherine (10/5): Excellent host and apartment :) - Great location and very comfortable. Our hosts were really helpful and we had a great time in Rome! Nothing :)
- Tamara (10/5): Exceptional - The location is right next to the Vatican. From the balcony you see the cuppola. The appartment is great and Raffaele is a great host and very uncomplicated.
- Idan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): Quiet luxury in a fabulous location - Fantastic apartment in a great location If someone doesn’t close the lift door it won’t run, frustrating but no fault of the owners
- Torill (9/5): Awesome apartment and great location. - The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to St. Peter’s Basilica. Beautiful view of the dome from the balcony. The apartment was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Slept like a baby! We had all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. Matteo and Raffaele are gracious hosts, and also gave us helpful tips about restaurants and how to make our stay in Rome even better. We would definitely visit again!
- Aaron (10/5): Great apartment with a balcony view of St. Peter’s. - Wonderfully renovated apartment with great amenities, fixtures and appliances. Great location, very close to St Peter’s Basilica and loads of great restaurants. Extremely quiet at all times of day. Balcony has a wonderful view of the dome. But what makes it really a great place are the owners very kind and helpful our whole stay.
- Sonja (9/5): Lovely place to stay in Rome - Good location
Modern, clean, responsive hosts who provided lots of information No ironing facilities. A fair walk to the nearest metro but a nice neighbourhood
- Michael (10/5): A perfect stay in the Aristocats Apartment - From meeting Raffaele when we arrived to leaving, our experience was amazing. Firstly the apartment is great with loads of space and plenty of room. Each room has its own decor which is very tasteful and also comes with a huge TV and air conditioning. The Duchesa room also has a small balcony which looks out to St Peter's Basilica and is a great spectacle at night when lit up. The whole apartment has everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
A special mention had to go to Raffaele who was the perfect host. He came to meet us when we arrived and was always available in WhatsApp to answer my typical tourist questions! I'd personally like to thank him for his hospitality.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment as somewhere to stay for your break in Rome. It's only a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and around 15 minutes to walk in to the centre of Rome so a perfect location.
- Mary (10/5): Perfect Base Near The Vatican - The decor was so tastefully done and the view was incredible. The little lift was really cute as well. We met the owner and he was super sweet and even gave us a bottle of Prosecco. Everything was perfect!
- Pawel (10/5): Very good quality. Very nice and responsive host. - The beds were very comfortable. The apartment was newly renovated and the host was very nice and responsive. Since it was very hot in Rome during our visit, we were very pleased to have air conditioning units in every room. The apartment is conveniently located close to Vatican City, just a 5-minute walk and only a few minutes by bus from Piazza Navona and other attractions. It's best to take a bus there as the road goes through a tunnel. The internet also works very well in this apartment. Small things like a lack of salt or napkins (which were provided when we asked for them). Using a microwave was a challenge even with the instructions provided. It was also a little surprise that the apartment had a living room but it was locked. So, when we came back from the city and wanted to rest the only options were our bedrooms or a kitchen
- Jacky (10/5): A fabulous apartment run by a super nice host - 1, the location is within 5-min walk distance from the St. Peter entrance, 3-min from bus station to Rome Termini and many sightseeing stops, 7-min to train station that connects the train to the FCO airport. It’s super convenient for tourists using public transportation.
2, at the balcony, you can enjoy the peaceful scene of the church.
3, very quiet at sleep night.
4, top floor with an elevator.
5, many lovely restaurants nearby provide decent local food with reasonable price.
6, a supermarket is in 2-min walk distance.
7, last but the most fabulous part, a super friendly and responsible host who takes good care of the stay of guests. Our flight was delayed 2 hours and we arrived at the apartment at the time that has already passed the in-person check-in time. The host still waited for us and met us in front of the main entrance of the building. Here I do not mean to raise the expectation of other guests who arrive late at night. I just express my personal gratitude for the extra efforts that the host has done for us. Nothing in our stay
- Najie (10/5): Wonderful apartment in wonderful Rome - Gorgeous and very clean apartment with large rooms decorated with style, The view on the Basilica is stunning especially at night. Loved AC in each bedroom. Close to bus stop, Pam supermarket 2 minutes away. Charming small vintage elevator that operates better than modern ones. We highly recommend that property. This a just matter of preference but the mattresses were not as plush as we like. A guide on how to operate the microwave would be nice as well as a pen in case the contract must be signed without the host being present.
- Snow (10/5): We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to Rome! - The location was made superb when we discovered what was on the ground floor, namely, McQueen’s Food & Drink.. It was a favorite hang out each night. The apartment was especially clean, and the air conditioning worked really well—especially after the very hot days we experienced. Learning to work the elevator was a little bit difficult for one or two nights.
