• Ann-Kathrin (10/5): Great escape into the nature - It’s a very cozy and peaceful place! Jorge is super friendly and helpful. There was a hammock on the balcony and nature everywhere. The breakfast was lovely prepared and delicious. The main entrance to the Tayrona Nationalpark is only 1km of walking away, which was very convenient. We wound definitely come back 🫶🏻

• Nancy (10/5): C'était parfait 👍 - On devait rester une nuit… et finalement on a prolongé tellement on s’y sentait bien 😄 Jorge est un hôte au top : super sympa, attentionné et toujours dispo si besoin L’endroit est hyper calme, parfait pour chiller, avec une petite rivière juste à côté pour se rafraîchir — gros plus ! En plus, c’est super bien situé, pas loin de l’entrée El Zaino (facile en bus ou environ 25 min à pied) Petit déjeuner au top !

• Guzman (10/5): - Casa kwalama es fantástico, la atención es muy profesional y personalizada. La cabaña es hermosa total tranquilidad y disfrutar del entorno de la naturaleza. El río maravilloso. La cabaña cuenta con aire acondicionado y abanico, la cama tiene mosquitero el baño es lindo y tiene ducha con agua caliente. Terraza con una hamaca vista al río y muchos colibríes. La recomiendo y también tiene comodidad para cuatro personas.

• tiglaru simona larisa (10/5): Excelent. - We are happy that we chose to stay here, a quiet location surrounded by vegetation and birds of all kinds. The room met our expectations, clean, with hot water in the bathroom. The air conditioning system worked well. All of this is thanks to Jorge, who did everything possible to make our stay excellent, and we want to thank him for that. We recommend that you eat at the property, and the food cooked there was very good. The location is easy to find, and access to Tayrona Park is fairly close. Around the area, you can find some restaurants and shops for small purchases. You won't regret staying at Casa Kwalama! You get to support a great Colombian host while enjoying the sound of nature around you.
• Juliana (10/5): - Nos encantó la atención del señor Jorge. Desde que hice la reserva estuvo súper atento a nuestra llegada. Y hasta nos guardó las maletas mientras era la hora del check in. El servicio que recibimos por parte de él fue excelente! Desde la bebida de bienvenida hasta el desayuno (queríamos cayeye y nos sorprendió con lo delicioso). Además el río justo al frente fue la mejor manera de terminar la estadía. Mil mil gracias señor Jorge! Todo estuvo súper!
• Davide (10/5): Super consigliato! - Posto molto tranquillo, ma comunque vicino alla fermata del bus. Jorge è stato super gentile e ci ha anche aiutati con la cena assicurandosi che fosse senza glutine. Inoltre ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli mentre eravamo nel parco.

• Andrea (10/5): - El lugar es precioso, nos ha encantado la habitación, la vista y el trato del dueño, súper simpático. Está muy bien ubicado en frente del río, a unos 10-15 minutos andando a la entrada del parque de Tayrona. Súper tranquilo, se duerme súper bien y el desayuno incluido era muy bueno.
• Natalia (10/5): - La cabaña es preciosa y con todo lo necesario. La amabilidad de Jorge hace que te quieras quedar más tiempo. Lo recomiendo 100%, nos hospedamos una noche para entrar al parque Tayrona al día siguiente a la mañana y sin duda fue una acierto ya que está a 15 minutos andando de la entrada del parque. Jorge nos guardo la mochila para ir más ligeras en la caminata dentro del parque

• Cloe (10/5): What a delightful place! We had the most relaxing, comfortable stay - Jorge was lovely and extremely helpful. Beautiful private room with forest and river view. We especially enjoyed the yummy breakfast out on the balcony, while watching the hummingbirds each morning.
• Olivia (10/5): A hummingbird filled oasis! - I would recommend everyone to stay here! Clean, well-equipped and perfectly located to visit Tayrona National Park. The patio (with hammock!) looks out over the beautiful garden and river. We saw many hummingbirds as we were having our breakfast. Above all: Jorge is a really wonderful host!

• Dan_nt (10/5): Amazing place directly in front of river - I feel so fortunate to have stayed in Jorge's cabana next to the river near Tayrona. When I stayed, he was just starting his business so he only had one cabana open to guests. -His customer service is professional & friendly. -Spacious cabana with a front deck overlooking the river. You are so close you can hear the river below you! -Breakfast included was substantial & tasty -Highly recommend homemade dinner upon request for a very affordable price -Small tienda a few minutes away to buy water & other essentials -Less than 5 minutes walk from the main road but you don't hear about traffic. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Trompito stop (Km 29). You rarely wait more than 10 minutes for buses that go back & forth between Santa Marta & Palomino to get to Tayrona or any number of nearby beaches. -Cabana has both aircon and fan, plus a fridge -Dozens of humingbirds flying every morning and sundown in front of your front deck and near the main house -Comfortable hammock to chill on the front deck -Private bathroom (shower water pressure is light and room temperature) You won't regret staying at Casa Kwalama! You get to support a great Colombian host while enjoying the sound of nature around you. Nothing
