- Kevin (4/5): All in all not a great experience I'm afraid. - This is a very basic hotel that is difficult to locate. There are significant steps to get into it at the end of a concealed bleak allyway. Access to get inside is not straight foreward and there are two steep staircases to access rooms with no lift. Plus there are no meal or breakfast facilities.

- Satheesh Kumar (2/5): - The location was closer to eateries and different modes of transport Nothing about this hotel was good enough to talk about. Rooms are spread across 3 floors and accessible through a steep stairs. I will never recommend this if you are travelling with Elderly people, especially if you have heavy luggage to carry.
Rooms are small with stains on the walls. More than a hotel this is a 2 star lodge tucked away in one of the narrow lanes above the Roshni restaurant. While the restaurant is posh and costly, the stay is strictly budget.
Literally no amenities other than a TV in the room. No kettle, no tea coffee or even a telephone as there is no room service provided.
Last time I had stayed in a Holiday inn express for lesser price.
No AC, just a pedestal fan was provided.
Rooms are very noise and not sound proof. You will hear sound even if a person walk in the room above yours.
Overall a disappointing stay and regret to have wasted this much money on a budget hotel room like this.
- M.S. (8/5): My first stay at Roshni Hotel - The location of the hotel in the middle of the shopping area is very convenient. One can go shopping and be back for a rest in no time. No troubles with public transport or finding a parking space.
Upon arrival you will get towels, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, coffee/thee bags, sugar, milk and a water cooker.
Our fan was defect and in no time replaced by the receptionist.
The rooms are very spacious and the family room does have a double bed and a single bed. Was welcome for our baby. The bathroom is big enough to have a shower together with the baby.
There are a lot of (halal) restaurants on walking distance from the hotel. A small shop beside the hotel serves a tasty Karak Chai for only a few pounds. The Roshni restaurant on the ground floor serves good food for a good price.
I definately will book this hotel for my next visit to Southall. It happened twice that there was no one at the reception and we had to wait for about 10-15min before the front door was opened. Not so nice with the baby in your arms and 25 degrees...may be an idea to supply a front door key in the key chain for the room
Second thing is that the area is very busy till late in the night. So, if it is very warm then you can not open a window due to the loud noises.
Offcourse this is not a problem in colder periods but an AC would be very welcome.

- Harveer (2/5): Fair - The room was very hot, and I was advised to open the windows to help cool it down. Unfortunately, this led to a lot of noise throughout the night—particularly from drivers constantly revving their engines and frequent horn honking, which made it difficult to sleep. In hindsight, a better solution might have been to keep the windows fully closed and have air conditioning available in the room to help manage the temperature while minimizing the noise. Staff, cleanliness
Thanks.
- Kelly (10/5): Overnight stay. - I was worried about staying alone with a young baby. But the staff were friendly, the room was clean and big with all the facilities you need. The location was great.

- Widjai (1/5): Very bad! - The location was good. The stay at the hotel was very poor in terms of hygiene!
I had to change rooms three times because there were large bed bugs in the rooms. My partner and I were left with many red spots as a result. I reported this to reception, but they were very light-hearted about it. In any case, no more Roshni Hotel for me!!!!
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Rob (8/5): Pleasant stay, nice staff. Accommodated requests for extra towels and sheets etc -
- David (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anna (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable bed, reasonable price. -
- Eleanor (9/5): Absolutely lovely, would definitely stay there again! - Close to the tube station, lots of shops near by! Lovely staff who made us feel very welcome and were happy to help us. Located very close to a main road so traffic can be heard but that’s not the hosts fault at all and didn’t really impact our stay

- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Excellent room very spacious.
- Jagat (8/5): Very suitable for my needs. - Good location for me. A short walk from the train station. Did not have breakfast as there are plenty of places for food around it. Would have liked more tea/coffee/milk in the room.

- Jing (5/5): Passable -
- Sapu (10/5): Nice stay - Everything was nice bed mattress bathroom room Very friendly staff
- Lily (7/5): Good -
- Ronald (1/5): Bad - nothing low quality 1 star hotel. there was not even a bedside lamp in the room!
- Gareth (6/5): Pleasant - Clean room , friendly helpful staff. There was quite alot of street noise .
- Khurram43 (10/5): Greater value for money - Really helpful staff. Salman and Qamar were great. Spacious room. Nothing.
- Paulo (5/5): Noisy nights - Room was clean, staff very friendly Noisy "long term guests", people who rent a room monthly are extremely annoying in the middle of the night, and looks like this is the main issue of this property. I woke up at 2am with doors being smashed several times, loud talking and laughing. No suitable for families. I had an uncomfortable night and surely will think twice before booking with them again.
- Stefan (7/5): Good -
- Liam (1/5): House of hell - Exiting the disgusting place!!!! Room, service, entry into hotel metal fire escape at back of restaurant, smell, noise and hotel staff entering room early hours in morning spraying something to to mask the sewage stench.
Dirty sandles left in room when reported this was told to use them whilst i showered. See pic of room
- Valeriu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (3/5): very basic but served a purpose - the room was a decent size it didn’t feel cramped it was incredibly basic, there were a random pair of flip flops in the room the entrance to the ‘hotel’ was really strange we had to walk down a back alley which felt quite unsafe especially at night.
there was also a smell in the property and i don’t think you can describe this as a hotel it was more of a bed sit
- James (3/5): Rubbish. Won’t be back ever again - The room of the door locked, that’s about it. Was told there was a car park, there wasn’t and had to use a random persons drive way and pay for it
No towels or toilet roll in the room
Only 2 thin pillows provided and no access to any others
And the best of all, went to check out, and the receptionist was asleep snoring in one of the rooms with the door wide open
- Venus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasminder (8/5): Very good -
- Ahmed (7/5): It was a comfortable stay. However, need to improve the room facilities and provide breakfast. -
- Yulia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bhagyashree (6/5): Pleasant -
- Harjinder (8/5): Thank you for hosting us and making our relatives stay a pleasurable memory. - Location in Southall was perfect for visiting family from Canada - 10 minute walk from train station on Elizabeth Line. And Roshini manager was able to arrange local off-street parking. Lots of 'indian' food restaurants nearby. Three flights of steps and no lift made it a little difficult for a 68 year old grandad with bad knees. Management help with the luggage wad gratefully received.
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant - Location There was no shower mat/towel.
No cups and beakers, but there was a kettle!!
I was woken up by the couple in the next room at 3.05 am and either they were talking loudly or the walls are extremely thin. Kept me awake for an hour. Apart from that there was no real problems.
- I-m-r-a-n (1/5): Worst experience - The manager was kind and nice person. The hotel's entrance was pathetic and it looked as if one is entering a cage. There was too much noise at the hotel.
The staff didn't have manners and started knocking the guest room door loud without thinking about guests privacy.
Lastly the toilet floor was nasty with too much dirt. The hotel was hesitating to provide even an extra towel when requested.
- Shendurnikar (8/5): Comfortable, convenient ,secure and friendly. - The Hotel is well located in a by lane on South Road Southall and as it does not face the main road, the rooms and place is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, well illuminated and comfortable. Besides the Hotel management and Mr. Ahmed & Kamal are always ready to help and guide. The take away and eateries are just 2 minutes walk and the nearest Bus stops are within 200 meters or so. They have a small kitchenette with crockery, microwave and a fridge that becomes very convenient for travelers. Nothing to dislike . May be It would be desirable if they can include the breakfast as most of the nearby eateries open up by 9.00 am which may be a little too late for some travelers.
- Dennis (8/5): Very good -
- Akshit (6/5): Pleasant -
- Manjit (7/5): Good -
- Seesurrun (8/5): we enjoy our stay at the hotel - excellent staff outside stairs
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Peter (2/5): Not great won't be returning and advise others not to! - Room was cleaned each day, and room was big but nothing in it. The hotel is down a little alley way and then up some metal stairs and it's like going into a back alley, the reception looks like a cab office, got signed in and then taken up to Room, was given 2 towels and a toilet roll (room got cleaned daily but no more toilet roll was left) and then left in room without a word being spoken to us about anything. Once in the room it was bare, one bedside table and a dressing table, open wardrobe with two hangers in it,a bed that is stained on the bottom of it with two flimsy awful pillows and a TV on the wall that has no channels and only has app services. On the hotel info it says that there is a restaurant and room service if required but no information given no sign of any restaurant and never got shown anything. we also had no tea coffee or cups although there was a kettle. We left the hotel to go out and we was seriously thinking of just getting another hotel for the rest of the weekend, I messaged the hotel and told them that we was not happy and I got a message back saying that a tea tray and two extra pillows had been put in our room, we decided to see how the night was, the items had been left in room when we got back. During the night the door to the room was rattling all through night due to the wind in the corridor I ended up pushing a chair against the door to stop it, you can hear everything going on as rooms have no soundproofing at all even though they are advertised as having so. The shower gel that was provided was 2 mini bottles one half full and both had expiration dates from 9/2022.
We ended up staying the full 3 nights but only because we couldn't find another hotel that we could afford due to most being booked as England were playing.
Will not be returning and advise people to take heed.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Hailey (6/5): Pleasant stay but very hard beds and one room smelt of smoke. Slow response to messages. - spacious and clean One room smelt of smoke. Beds were extremely hard and there were no side table lamps.
- Muna (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much for them, we had so much luggage and they helped us carry it to our rooms and settle in well. Thank you!
