- Sandra (1/5): Nightmare - We had a clean towel The location was difficult to find. The taxi could not bring us there, we wandered around a few streets to find a locked gate. Our reservation was last-minute, so we were not upset about that. The cafe owner next door helped get us in contact with the owner. A few minutes later a very drunk German man came to let us in to the room. The room was trashed, as if a party had occurred there. There were open beer bottles everywhere, the floors were very dirty, the couch cushions were disheveled, the bed was not made with fresh sheets and there certainly was no breakfast food available. The German man offered us a beer and begged us not to tell the owner the room was a mess after many many pleads to not say anything. Obviously this person was “the housekeeper” and had access to our room. We were exhausted from traveling all day and missing our connection on our cruise ship so we’re very stressed out. The German man wanted to party with us but we were not interested. After he tried very, very hard to get us to “relax” he tried to lean over and kiss my friend (we were two women traveling together) he expressed his desire to “experience two women” and I was finally able to push him out of the room. We did not complain, but rather went to sleep on top of the dirty sheets and did our best to make it thru the night and get out as soon as possible in the morning. My friend was terrified the entire time that he would try to come back in the night since he had access with a key but thankfully he did not. The cafe owner next door was extremely gracious and kind and helped us get a taxi and gave us soup. Was the worst experience I have ever had with lodging. I wasn’t going to say anything and just move on with our lives, but you should know it was a horrible experience.
- Anez (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely stay at Shiva suites, the location was convenient, the breakfast was delicious, the check-in process was straight forward, would definitely return ⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐
- Loredana (1/5): Bad - The apartment does not provide bed sheets, bathroom products and towels. I had to write a message to get towels. In messages communication was in Turkish, really strange. The aparment looks like a real scam for tourists Honestly, I can not understand how booking.com has rated this apartment. It is worst accomodation in 20 years of travelling.
