• Christiane (4/5): - Die gemeinschaftlichen Aufenthaltsräume waren bunt und liebevoll eingerichtet, stets ansprechbares Personal, gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis Frühstück Zwei Nächte in Zimmer 2, Schimmelflecken an der Außenwand, in diesem Zimmer laute undefinierbare Strömungsgeräusche, in der Nacht,Personal darauf nach der ersten Nacht angesprochen , haben sich bemüht,eine Erklärung zu finden, wurde keine gefunden. Eine Person hat daraufhin im Aufenthaltsraum geschlafen. Andere Personen im gleichen Zimmer haben sich auch gestört gefühlt. Im Haus insgesamt war es aber ruhig.
• Annina (8/5): Freundlich, super für 2 Tage Solo Travel - - freundliche Leute, man kam häufig ins Gespräch - schöner Aufenthaltsraum mit Instumenten (mega gemütlich), allgemein hat mir das Gebäude gefallen (victorianischer Stil glaub ich?) - Duschen und WCs wurden häufig geputzt - man hat sich wohl gefühlt :D - gratis Kaffe/Tee/Hot Chocolate mit Milch! - perfekte Lage für Cow Hill Wanderung Die meisten Leute waren nach dem West Highland Way dort (8 Tage wandern/zelten), deshalb denk ich finden die meisten die Betten super bequem danach haha. - Betten durchgelegen, aber ging - nicht wirklich Möglichkeiten, seine Sachen abzulegen (i.e. auch kein Spint) --> etwas eng - Betten knarrten - Frühstück könnte noch etwas gesündere Auswahl haben - keine Steckdosen in Hochbett Nähe, auch keine Vorhänge beim Bett

• Viktoriia (7/5): - Stuff was absolutely brilliant, very polite and helpful I stayed in the shared women’s room. Unfortunately, there was a slight odor in the room.
• Alena (8/5): We recommend this accommodation; it has its own charm, is in a good location, and has friendly staff - We stayed here at the end of the West Highland Way, and the accommodation lived up to everything described on the website. The only downside for me was that the beds weren’t very comfortable (at least in the room we stayed in). I’m on the shorter side, and even so, the bed felt narrow and short to me. So taller people might have a bit of a problem.

Shower in main bathroom upstairs was barely warm, not what you want after a week walking the West Highland Way! It’s a known issue as some people were told the other shower is hot. Get it sorted!

• Clare (7/5): - When I arrived at the property I was very disappointed. There was a skip in the drive & I thought it looked rough. Having walked all day I went inside & the proprietor was friendly & helpful, my bunk clean & very comfy so despite sharing a mixed dorm with 5 others, they were all respectful, interesting & I thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast at £4 was exceptionally good value & I enjoyed the kitchen area for mixing with others. The accommodation was tired & worn looking with a Bohemian theme but this soon proved to be irrelevant as it was part of the style & part of why it was good value.

• Jill (8/5): Gezellig hostel met mooie lounge! - Goede ontvangst bij receptie, goede bedden inclusief beddengoed op de slaapzaal, centrale ligging en mooie lounge met comfortabele banken en fauteuils. De douche was ofwel ijskoud ofwel bloedheet. Keuken ‘s nachts dicht, waardoor wij vroege vertrekkers geen ontbijt konden maken.

So much potential with some TLC this place could be a great stop but ne - The location, lounge and views are lovely The place needs a good clean. There was no hot water for everyone to shower and the boots laying at the top of the stairs (as there wasn’t sufficient drying room) was a trip hazard and a fire hazard.

• Edward (8/5): Lovely vibe, good value, would stay there again, but hot showers at 5pm would make it even better - Free hot chocolate in the kitchen, lovely vibe overall, very convenient location. One of the staff working there (David?) was really pleasant and warm. One of the check-in staff was pleasant enough but did not exactly provide the friendliest welcome or farewell. To be clear, she wasn't rude. Just rather abrupt, matter-of-fact, even on departure as we handed in keys etc. In contrast, however, there was another a guy who is super warm and friendly and clearly enjoys his job and the hostel. That was really nice. The showers at ~5pm, which is when check-in opens and a whole bunch of people arrive, are luke warm. That happened twice in a row, even when I thought I was probably one of the first in the showers. Perhaps it's an electric boiler rather than instant gas heating. No ventilation / fan in shower cubicles makes it pretty stuffy/humid. Sheets on the beds were definitely cleaned, but a few stray hairs were drifting around.

• Neal (8/5): - Could store bike relatively securely. Self catering available. Bike storage shed needs a bit of a clear out cor space. Due to backpackers hostel nature hot water at a premium. Showers need a change of operation to help extend hot water usage. Suggest a push button timed shower with premixed temperature. Over two days we didnt manage to get a hot or even tepid shower. Also put up prominent notice advising customers to consider their time use in showers.

Questa, considerando che si tratta di un ostello che accoglie persone che concludono la West Highland Way o la salita sul Ben Nevis (in un Paese in cui piove SEMPRE), é una mancanza non da poco; -Servizi meh.

• Maya (4/5): Moins bien que beaucoup d'auberges de jeunesse du pays - La déco du salon est jolie et l'extérieur est sympa quand il y a du soleil Ça sentait très mauvais à mon arrivée, j'avais froid, le lit est dur, la chambre ultra sommaire, quelqu'un a même allumé la lumière du plafond pendant que je dormais. Quand j'ai voulu aller me brosser les dents, un homme était en train de se raser le crâne, j'ai fait demi tour et j'ai dû me brosser les dents dans le lavabo des WC. L'endroit pourrait être beaucoup plus charmant avec une déco refaite.
