Guest Reviews
- Shaun (10/5): - Very clean cosy accommodation Nothing
- Anastasija Kucinska (10/5): -
- Shaun (10/5): - Very nice place. Not a lot
- Clare (9/5): -
- David (10/5): - Excellent location , beautiful countryside , very accessible to conway.. lovely local pub , and of course parking ..
- Rebecca (5/5): Ok but have had much nicer and wouldnt return. - The kitchen was really well equipped, even having things like tinfoil, sandwich bags etc which came in handy! To say it’s wheelchair accessible it wasn’t laid out in the most accessibility friendly way. The lip up to the bathroom was quite steep for a shower chair to get up and things like the bin being behind the kitchen door meaning a wheelchair couldn’t fit through the door didn’t seem well thought out.
- susan (7/5): - Clean and adequate 2nd bedroom door wouldn’t shut
- Andrea (10/5): A gorgeous bungalow in a beautiful village - It was in a beautiful and handy location. There was everything we needed and was clean and modern There was nothing to dislike
- Roberto (9/5): I would return if I could - We liked the house itself and the place Nothing to complain about or that we disliked
- Viktor (9/5): - Nice clean cottage, well equipped, in the charming village. Car needed, if you want to make trips around, parking place available. Helpful property manager. just details, nothing important.
- STEVEWALES (8/5): Well appointed accomodation, good location, lovely village - Comfort and location A welcome pack would be useful
- Susan (8/5): Comfortable, lovely surroundings, would recommend. - The cottage was in a lovely location, within easy reach of local towns. It was comfortable and quiet, and was a great place to stay for a work trip, and so much nicer than a hotel. We were very happy with all of it.
- Elise (9/5): Fabulous property in a beautiful location - Accessible for limited mobility
Dog friendly
Location We would have liked the patio area to be enclosed for the dogs
- Marius (9/5): Superb -
- Neil (10/5): Home from home - It was home from home. Disabled facilities were a great touch. Pub was great around the corner. Nothing
- David (10/5): A lovely stay in a peaceful village, in an excellent property and brilliant location - The location of the property was in a excellent place for exploring the local and further area of Snowdonia. Gwynant Bach contained everything we needed including a brilliant shower ! Off road parking on the drive was a another bonus.
Rowen is a very peaceful location with numerous walks on the doorstep. The local Pub Ty Gwent is only 2 mins up the road, with an lovely beer garden next to the river. The menu is basic pub food but very tasty.
Overall we would definately recommend a stay at Gwynant Bach for the location and peacefulness. Everything was brilliant.
- Jill (9/5): Wonderful stay, quiet surroundings and very comfortable accommodation with own parking space -
- Steve (9/5): Superb -
- Lynda (8/5): Lovely little village. Very relaxing. -
- Stephen (9/5): Rowen stay - Layout of the cottage. Location for local areas to visit as long as you have transport. Easy to access property and all facilities good. Heating also good. No negatives. Our 2nd visit to the property.
- Craig (10/5): Excellent weekend away and will be booking the same place again soon - On arrival I was clean and well stocked with everything you needed for a relaxing weekend My only concern was where the edge of the ramp finished
As it finished right outside the entry door it in my opinion is a trip hazard
Especially when you arrive in the dark
- Tonia (9/5): Superb - Modern, clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. Great linens and towels. Terrace next to the road, no gate, so unable to let the dog out alone.
- Phillip (9/5): Relaxing, great local pub and spectacular scenery, - Location . Bright airy clean warm Pillows
- Claire (10/5): Wonderful - will be booking again! - Fab location and perfect for disabled access
- Peter (9/5): Loverly Bungle in peaceful Village - Very clean and good facilities including heated flooring and wifi. Beautiful location located in a quiet village with peaceful surroundings. No full length mirror.
Sofa not comfortable on the neck but did recline as a added bonus.
Very narrow Rd up the hill. Please avoid if not confident driver and drive the longway.
- Hardy (9/5): A very comfortable and warm cottage with good facilities and in an ideal location. - The layout of the property was well designed and with comfortable furnishings. The location was just what we needed peaceful and with beautiful scenery. The only small problem was the toilet was not for a disabled person (not high enough) although the rest of the facilities were ideal (walk in shower).
- Ruth (8/5): Very good - Very clean .Quiet location in pretty village.Good shower.Good information pack Very basic equipment eg half a loo roll for 2 toilets no washing up liquid, no frying pan,no coffee machine/ cafetiere.Miles to any shop so it was a problemWe fell off the side of the wheel chair ramp outside the front door twice as there were no markings to differentiate it from the rest of the slabs as we entered the property
Sadly the village pub was closed,so nowhere local to eat
- Paul (10/5): Excellent would stay again - Nice property in a good location Location
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sian (9/5): A wonderful property and location! - The location was superb, beautiful and lots of history! Easy to get to Eryri, Conwy, Llandudno, Porthmadog and Betws-y-Coed. NA
- Paulina (9/5): Superb - Lovely cottage. Beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.
- Linda (8/5): Very good -
- Lyn (9/5): A lovely relaxing break in nice surroundings - Stayed here before and very happy to be back. the bungalow is in a lovely spot and easy accessible to the very many local attractions. the owners and Karen could not have been more helpful Nothing to comment
- Helen (9/5): Relaxing, lovely location, close to attractions - Location was great, beautiful, quiet, lots of walks, friendly pub
Clean beds/ towels
Beds comfy
Shower hot and powerful Difficult to find faults ...
Only 1 tea towel.
Cutlery could have been cleaner
A gate would have been nice so as close to the road , would stop our dog running out.
- Williams (10/5): We’ll be back! - It really helped my disabled 90 year old mother enjoy the trip. The kitchen is very well equipped so you can do more than just heat up a microwave meal. Proper full-size fridge freezer! The wet room gives the best shower ever! Nothing
(I was glad we took our own kitchen roll and clippy boxes)
- Chris (9/5): Beautiful location - All the facilities were spot on, the beds are comfy and the bathroom was nice and the kitchen was fitted out great with everything you need. The whole place is much more spacious than it looked from the photo's It would have been nice to have a gate on the patio area especially with dogs and a toddler
- Phil (9/5): Great property, would recommend and we will definitely go back in the future. - The property was spacious for a bungalow, comfortable, very well equipped and was perfectly located in a lovely village with plenty of local walks and a good pub. Parking on site was also a plus, although there was sufficient on road parking available (if required). The table and chairs on the front patio was a nice touch and a good place to sit in the sun with a coffee or beer, listening to the stream that was located across the road Nothing, as the property had everything we wanted.
- Gary (8/5): Great accommodation, friendly helpful owner, just next door, - Roomy bungalow, nice location No welcome basket, cobwebs along bedroom ceiling, shower could do with a screen as water goes everywhere! Toilet roll holder covered in rust. Needs binning!
- Patricia (8/5): Ideal situation in a lovely village - Lovely situation and very clean, near a nice pub and great walks. Nothing I didn’t like
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (8/5): A very enjoyable long weekend in a beautiful part of the country - Great location, and very comfortable
- Amanda (8/5): Lovely quiet relaxing break - Location was excellent very quiet Maybe a gate on the front garden
- Yvonne (5/5): Passable -
- Pashi (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the heated floor and the shower. We also loved how nice and clean and comfortable it was and it had everything we needed for our stay. We liked everything
- Jane (8/5): A chilled out weekend , much needed - Location was gorgeous The weather
- Joan (9/5): Superb -
- Dawn (8/5): Lovely bungalow, great location - Location and bed comfort. Was me and my husband and daughter with her baby. Was a bungalow so ideal. Good kitchen facilities. Parking was also very good. Great for walks and local pub a couple of doors away that does good homecooked food Not much not to like would only say a dishwasher would be nice and also had to bring our own travel cot and high chair which was a surprise they weren't provided.
- Sarah (9/5): Wonderful stay , perfect location, near enough to the sights but far enough to offer peace - Beautiful tranquil location. The sound of the birds and river over the road.
Well appointed- everything you could think of had been provided. The shower was cold even on the hottest setting.
I suspect this was to prevent people scalding themselves. I had to improve the temperature by running a cold tap whilst in the shower
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Belinda (10/5): Exceptional -
