Helen A (9/5): A delightful well priced apartment, clean and with a useful kitchenette. - This apartment was lovely and comfortable, very quiet at night and with great views of the observatory. It was very clean inside and also along the staircase, which was delightfully decorated with artworks. The kitchenette was very useful. The owners were helpful, organising a taxi for me to the airport It was about 17 minutes walking from the ferry, however, the final block has an extremely steep rise which may require a taxi if you have luggage. It was a 5 minute walk to a local observatory where tour buses stop to admire the view. Walking distance to museums and restaurants whilst being on the cusp of a residential area which added interest. Note: there are stairs to walk up, but I was fortunately assisted with my suitcase when I arrived. We had a mix up with the key collection but finally got there!

Mirna (9/5): Comfortable stay in a cultural city - The view of the mountains and Mindelo is beautiful. If you also love to visit Santo Antão, the ferry is nearby. You could see and hear the ferry departing from the harbor from the balcony. Grocery stores and a market with unique souvenirs are nearby.
Mari (9/5): I enjoyed staying at Amwilla guesthouse, would recommend! - Very nice place, big terrace with great view. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen.
