- Janhil (8/5): A great getaway from it all. Delightful hosts and a well stocked fridge. - Location, isolation quiet and restful. Living area a little cramped.
- harry (9/5): Loved it. - Nice country feel and location. Lovely people and place.
Comfy little place that felt like you were on your own private farm to watch the sunset No issues at all.
- Coral (10/5): Fantastic love to visit again in the future - Clean - comfortable - secluded- quiet- John the Host was very friendly and most helpful Nil

- Rodney (10/5): A hidden gem. Highly recommended. - Our hosts John and Jenny were very hospitable. The property was very clean and had everything you need for a weekend stay. It was wonderfully quiet with only the gentle background noise of the birds.Very relaxing. Nothing
- Ashley (10/5): Beautiful historic farm stay - We enjoyed the history of the property, the animals and John was very helpful and friendly. We were towing a car trailer and there was plenty of space to park. The little house was spacious and had all the comforts we needed. At night we saw beautiful sunsets and in the mornings enjoyed the horses running and playing together. We did have a large spider living with us but that is part of being in the country.
- Loz (9/5): - Lovely cottage in the middle of a working farm with lots of nice touches. Appreciated the breakfast supplies. Great outlook over the paddocks to hills in the distance. The road to the cottage from the main road is quite rough and would not suit low slung cars.
- Fenny (9/5): Enjoy the best little farm stay not far from Bathurst with all the comfort and luxery. - We absolutely loved our stay at the farm, could easily have stayed much longer, so sad we had to leave. The apartment has everything you need and more. All very comfy and nice. The owners are great and fun and have lovely stories to tell, but at the same time they will leave you be. The location is beautiful and although in the country it's only a hop-skip-and jump from town. Loved seeing and being near the animals. What a great place!!
- Warwick_Grant (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay. It was very cosy, extremely well-appointed and the host exceptional. - The host was in regular contact to ensure we could find the property and that there was someone there to let us in. No complaints

- CONRAD (10/5): Very special. The owners are amazing, do welcoming and friendly. Love it here. - Feels like a home away from home. Very comfortable bed, has a hot under blanket for the cold winter nights. Fully equipped kitchen, stocked fridge and pantry with the basics needed for a stay. Booked twice for the trip down to Melbourne and back again to QLD. Lots of space for our 4x4 and car trailer. Nothing
- Lisette (10/5): Felt like home - only a better view. - Private , cosy , warm , clean with thoughtful touches. Books , lamps etc. Felt like I was in the country - yet only a few kms from restaurants. Breakfast was ready in the fridge (eggs/bread/butter/spreads etc)- I didn’t avail myself due to time constraints - however the gesture was very much appreciated. Nothing - it was fabulous - my only regret not being g able to stay longer.
- Tny (10/5): See above - Comfortable accommodation in lovely, quiet setting. Gracious hosts.

- Linda (9/5): Best farm stay. - Location is perfect. Very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is neat and tidy. Very well appointed cottage. Fridge is well stocked. Mattress is excellent. We slept so well. You can enjoy the sunset abd sunrise from the terrace.
John and Jenny are the perfect hosts. Very friendly. We left with a dozen of eggs from their farm. Highly recommended if you seek a quiet accommodation around Bathurst and yet it’s only 3km away from town. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Bathurst. None.
- Bob (10/5): A lovely well thought out layout in a truly private and quiet location. - A lovely well thought out layout in a truly private and quiet location. Friendly greeting and a great base to see the local area. Everything you need is provided.

- Muhammad (10/5): 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 - Everything about this place is pleasant !! 🇦🇺 🍺
- Haids (9/5): Lovely one night stay - John and Jenny were the most welcoming hosts. The accommodation is on a farm and was charming and extremely clean. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything - anything you can think of, they have thought of it. The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. A lovely one night stay. Nothing
- Amelia (10/5): Such tranquillity - Such beautiful views and it was a great place to stay with everything you need. The owners had lovely hospitality and the place was spotless.
- Tegan (8/5): Very good - Nice location Red heeler dog bit me, left a pretty good bruise other then that everything was perfect
- Charlee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (8/5): Wish we’d stayed longer. - Loved everything about it. Beautiful rural outlook. Blue wrens, rosellas, finches and honeyeaters visited the trees outside the window. The pantry was well stocked with condiments and breakfast supplies. There were fresh eggs, milk and bread provided. Much more generous provisions than usual in self-contained accommodation. Comfy bed. It would be nit-picking to mention anything negative amidst so many positives.
- Shaun (10/5): A wonderful place to take a break, relax and refresh. -
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garry (9/5): Relaxing, quite, country lifestyle - This property is about 10-12 minutes drive out of Bathurst but for us was perfect because we prefer the quite & not the hustle a bustle of a busy town. Both John and Jenny made us feel very much at home with advice on places where to eat and to visit. The accommodation is very well appointed and very clean with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We would definitely stay again
- Puja (10/5): Beautiful place to stay - The host (John) was great. He was so helpful and kind. Also the place was great fully equipped and clean. The view was amazing, it was quiet and perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is there to visit Bathrust.
- Rachel (8/5): 10/10! Very lovely location, lovely apartment, lovely breakfast! - The property and unit was beautiful. Very lovely with all the amenities we needed. John also was excellent and provided many delicious options for breakfast which was absolutely lovely Was hard to find/locate on the property. Signage would have been helpful
- Gabrielle (9/5): A very relaxing, peaceful stay with beautiful surroundings and loads of ambience. - My husband and I really loved the peaceful surroundings and privacy. We enjoyed sitting outside on the verandah to watch the sun set. The lounge was very comfy, and the fire was beautiful and warm. The shower was awesome as were the cosy, soft dressing gowns. that were provided. It was great to have a dishwasher in the premises. The property was spotlessly clean and the people that lived on the property were very friendly. especially the owners. The property was very close to the town center. Only negatives were the beds. They could have been softer and the window in one of the bedrooms we feel needs to be covered up as lots of light comes in, maybe a curtain
- Frances (9/5): Peaceful and pleasant! Enjoyed our chats with John. - I highly recommend this property and would definitely return. Everything you could need is available. Nothing ! Shame we couldn’t stay longer .
- Guxi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Max (8/5): We came for a 3 day rest, and were not disappointed. We did absolutely nothing on 2 of the days. - Small, but a very comfortable and quiet location. The pantry and fridge were well stocked. Bathroom was equipped with a washing machine and large shower. Lovely country view from the verandah. TV only had ABC channels. No internet coverage, but good phone reception. That's all.
- Rodney (9/5): A great place for a quiet stay, John the owner, is very helpful and does whatever is required to ensure your stay is com - It’s out of town but close enough to get to town The driveway isn’t really suitable for large road bikes, especially in wet weather
- John (8/5): This stay was just for one night but it gave us a chance to catch up with our great friend from USA - the fridge was full of everything you could want for breakfast , lunch, dinner along with snacks
It appears that whoever stays leaves food in the fridge, also there seems to be an endless supply of tea, coffee, & pods along with 3 coffee making machines
There is more than enough kitchen equipment (knives, plates, pots & pans)
The best part was the quietness & the feeling of solitude even though the main house was only100metres away
John & wendy were the perfect hosts we only saw them when they came for a chat & when we arrived and when we were leaving there was nothing in particular that we did not like, perhaps the flies (Ha Ha) but that just shows how much we 3 enjoyed the whole atmosphere.
- Kaye (9/5): Tranquility, comfort and kangaroos -
- Jennifer (9/5): Very comfortable stay -
- Muscat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bahadur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fischer (10/5): Close to Bathurst in distance which was great, and a perfect location for a country stay. - John was excellent and very helpful, as well as the property being fantastic - we will be back! Nothing at all.
- Narrelle (10/5): Loved the property, best nights rest I’d had in years, so peaceful. - Best stocked property I have ever been to. Wish there was a tour available of the original house.
- Annie (10/5): Cosy and cute! - Cute little stay, I wish we could have tried the fresh eggs but we were in a rush that morning. Make sure you check out the stars and sunset :)
- Nicola (7/5): Good -
- Marion (9/5): It was most pleasant. I will in future book more accommodation like that as I slept the best. - The hosts provided us with fresh eggs laid by their hens which was most delicious. The surrounding was really peaceful and helped us rejuvenate after a very stressful stay at this accommodation in Orange. We had to move twice and so we had a lot of stress. But the clean air and soft, clean water and the surrounding were so peaceful I wished I had booked this place instead of the previous accommodation. We had everything we needed, and the place was not far from town. The hosts provided us with bread, and he went to town specially to buy it for us as we only book the accommodation that day. As they did not have anyone staying after us, we were able to check out late so we could enjoy the place a bit longer. I wish there was an iron provided. It is fine as that was the last 2 days of my journey. But if it was the first place I would have liked to have an iron to iron some clothes.
- Gisela (8/5): We enjoyed our stay, breakfast was great. Host very friendly. - Loved the ambience. Setting was delightful. Host very accommodating.
Would have liked fans as we couldn’t open windows without screens due to many flying insects. Insect repellent would have been appreciated. No fans.
- Monica (9/5): Superb -
- Eileen (9/5): Comfortable accommodation - Very comfortable cottage with a fantastic bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Breakfast supplied was a welcome bonus. Quiet, rural setting
- Yvettec (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was eggs from their chooks ,bacon , sourdough. The stocked fridge and pantry was a lovely surprise. Fresh flowers little choccies, bathroom amenities….all these little touches made our stay feel really homely and special. Would definitely stay again.

- Michelle (9/5): A cosy and comfortable place to relax with that lovely country charm. - Our second stay in two months, because it is a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the magic of the fireplace and a well appointed kitchen pantry and fridge to make it feel like a little home away from home.

Nothing negative!
- Kylie (10/5): A lovely place to stay to enjoy the fresh country air, beautiful sunsets, & fantastic hosts! - Our stay was wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. The property was so quiet, warm, clean and had everything we could have needed and more. John was there to welcome us as we drove up the drive, as were the chickens, guinea fowl, dogs, and gorgeous cat. The breakfast items were a lovely surprise and I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the views and sunset. We will definitely be back again. Nothing at all.
- Trent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (8/5): Overall, a very positive experience. - The location and aspect of the property and the friendly owners. I particularly liked the farm environment. The sofa in the living room should be larger and more comfortable. Perhaps some publications re attractions in the area would be desirable. Unfortunately, my stay was reduced due to work commitments elsewhere, but I would like to read about local attractions in my next stay.
