Guest Reviews
- michael (10/5): -
- John (8/5): Lovely apartment, somewhat noisy during the day. - Lovely apartment, clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice kitchen with good quality appliances. Great location in the centre of town. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. The host was very helpful. We were staying in the garden flat which is at basement level. The noise form the shop above (heavy footsteps) was very irritating during the day. However it was very quiet at night.
- Susan (10/5): Home away from home. - Excellent location in the cute village of Keswick. We could look at the mountains from our window that we planned to hike each day. Comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Off street parking was terrific. Can’t fault this property.
- Suzanne (9/5): A lovely place to stay - The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well-appointed - it was obvious that thoughtful consideration has been given to all possibilities that may arise during a stay. The location was fantastic too, as were the views (and the lovely Christmas tree).
- Rachel (10/5): Excellent location, everything right on your doorstep - Excellent location, cosy atmosphere Struggled with the heating because I had never used hive and therefore didn't understand how to connect the heating to my phone, but we managed by adjusting on the wall in the end.
- Mcgowan Jeff (10/5): Beautiful apartment - The apartment was beautiful, and the location couldn't be better.
- Kevin (10/5): - Keswick View was excellent; very well situated, very comfortable, very well equipped. The bedrooms are roomy, the beds are very comfortable. This time of the tear it's nice to have a warm environment, the central heating was spot on, adjustable when required, made the stay a lot more comfortable.
The position of Keswick view is fantastic; in the heart of Keswick, close to all the Restro's, shops and supermarkets. The views from the top floor apartment are breathtaking. Also which is a bonus, washing and drying room really handy if you have damp clothing after your work.
We would definitely stay at Keswick View again, and look forward to doing so. Five stars from ourselves.

- Gill (10/5): Lovely stay in keswick visiting the fells and mountains and enjoying the variety of eating places - fantastic location, about 10 mins from the bus station and literally 2-3 mins from the beautiful town of keswick.
Everything had been thought of, excellent kitchen facilities and great room for laundry and drying. Everything was great, nothing to complain about
- Andrew (10/5): excellent - Very easy as soon as you get into the Carpark and go around the fronts using the side alley the key safe was there.
- Martin (9/5): Nice few days at the lakes in a central location! - The apartment is very central easy to get around the town . It was very clean and warm.Nice shower and comfy beds The kichen had good appliances too. We enjoyed our stay. The little porch and outside sitting area was nice.. Be Lovely to sit there on a warm sunny day!The parking was an added bonus a bit small but we managed fine! It was a bit dull in some rooms! Only to be expected in a basement apartment!! ... The living room was bright though! So that was good.. There was a bit of noise from the upstairs don't know if work was getting done... It didn't stop us enjoying ourselves...
- Rachel (10/5): Lovely comfortable stay, recommended - Comfortable and clean
Great central location
Good parking

- Ranae (10/5): Would definitely recommend this place for anyone going to the keswick area - We could literally walk out the front door and be on the all pedestrian square. Everything was neat and tidy. Could use some spices like salt, pepper, and sugar. They were all out in the containers. We had trouble watching tv and Netflix. The first night was okay and then we couldn’t get anything to download past 20%. I’m sure it was the user as we are not too computer savvy.
- Helen (8/5): Very enjoyable and would return to this property. - I loved the location. It was easy to get to shops, lake and public transport. We loved the view from the bay window at whinlatter Using the front door key was difficult at night as the street light was out, also coming down the front steps in the dark. This is a minor issue as overall we enjoyed the flat.

- Laura (10/5): Lovely family break at Keswick view - A really lovely space for our family of four to enjoy. We had a 7 year old and 5 month old baby. Lots of space. Comfy beds, comfy sofas, great views, good parking and just a great find.
- Sebastian (10/5): -
- Jane (8/5): Overall Good - Location was fabulous, very comfortable beds, good showers and roomy for two couples, it was relatively clean, ( apart from the toilet brushes 🤢) The washing machine was shared between 3 flats, impossible to park 2 cars if you had the centre car park slot, the only self catering place we've ever stayed in that doesn't even supply a pint of milk or tea/coffee for that essential first brew ( a little stingy)
- James (9/5): Excellent apartment. - Location and facilities were excellent for a week in the northern and central Lakes. Large apartment, very clean , all facilities excellent. Car parking tight but was free in a central location. We managed to work around it with other residents in the building.
- Kathleen (10/5): Top notch location for exploring the Lake District! - Wonderful location, amazing light within with the many windows, spectacular view out the back window, really nice watching the night grow dark over the hills.
Very comfy and spacious! Highly recommend!
- Casey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ukmule (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book this property again. - Where the accommodation is situated. The views are phenomenal, and the size, layout and cleanliness of the flat is very good. Maybe better instructions on how to get to the car park, ie., you will need to travel down a narrow lane between the Keswick Motors and the George Fisher shop. We ended up driving where we shouldn't have (in a camper van) and had to ask directions in a shop, and then turn around and double back ... all will throngs of people milling around!
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Miriam (9/5): Superb - Fabulous stay. The view was magical, both bedrooms comfortable, all of the facilities offered everything needed for our stay, and we were cosy in a particularly cold and windy February spell. Also thoughtful little touches, e.g. games available to use, a photo showing the hills visible from the window, which contributed to a wonderful stay. There was only one washing machine for the whole building (3 apartments), which was located on the ground floor and was rather slow- so involved coming from our second floor apartment to check the machine was available, bring down and up all of our laundry, and wait for the machine to finish. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of when considering what to bring- this could have been more clearly advertised on the information page.
- Melody (4/5): Disappointing - Just the location Nothing about the apartment. We were in the garden apartment which was underground and we could hear noises from movements above. The apartment was not modern and we couldnt open the windows. We fell suffocated. There was no character to it. My daughter and son ended up sleeping in the living room as they felt the room was not comfortable. Even with heating it was cold mostly and because we couldnt open the windows it felt dampy. The master bed was not comfortable i hurt my neck.So dissapointed. I am sure the rest of Keswick view is lovely but the garden apartment is a big dissapointment!!!
- Brian (9/5): wish we could have stayed longer ! will be back - not the issue of the property or host but bin lorry outside at 6am couple days collecting all the beer bottles from the night before from the close proximity pubs ( which is a good thing ). some were ours
- Jenny (9/5): Pretty perfect. I’d definitely stay here again. - The location was brilliant, plus there was free parking at the back of the property. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped too. I didn’t mind this, but it is a little way from the car park at the back, to the door at the front of the property, then upstairs. Some people may find this difficult.
- Alison (7/5): Good - Location Sofas
- Iain (10/5): Great Keswick apartment. - A lovely, clean, spacious apartment (Castlerigg, top floor) with great views over the hills. The apartment was well maintained with everything you need for a self-catering break or just as a base. Good kitchen facilities, bathroom, comfortable beds, and cosy sitting room area made for a great stay. Ideal location for restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops with the added plus of off-road private parking. I have no reservations concerning recommending this apartment and would happily stay here again. Nothing at all.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Location was fantastic; shops out the door step Well located to amenities and coffee shops. Warm and cozy, and great views from most rooms. Comfortable beds. Laundry is on the ground floor, but not unexpected.
- Melanie (9/5): Comfortable, private apartment in a good location with parking - Spacious, clean, good location, well supplied. The towels were tiny!
- Anima (8/5): Spacious apartment with a lovely view - Very nice spacious apartment with a lovely view. Close to the city centre with loads of buses going into other towns or walking start points. A lot of restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. Owner was very responsive though in the US and also helped in arranging to leave the bags post check out. Apartment gas old furniture, especially the sofa. Water temperature in the shower is not great. Local property manager isn't very responsive.
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location spacious well equiped N/a
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - So central, lovely rooms and v clean I didn’t receive instructions on how to get into the apartment, technical issues with booking.com
- Anna (10/5): Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in Keswick - The location was ideal, close to beautiful cafes, restaurants, shops etc. Also easy access to anywhere in Lakes District from this property.
The property itself was ideal for us as a family of 4. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, spacious kitchen for us to cook, great living area and plenty of space for everyone. It was also especially good to have a fabulous laundry area with washing machine and dryer.
- Jane (10/5): Perfect apartment to stay in to see the lakes. - Lovely roomy apartment, very clean. Great location to see the lakes but also in the centre of Keswick with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstop. Great views. Nothing !
- Margi (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication with the owner, very helpful. Excellent location and great to have a car parking place too, superb views from our apartment at the top of the house.
- Jennifer (10/5): A wonderfully relaxing stay in a beautiful flat in the best location. - Keswick View is made up of three flats. We were on the top floor and it comprised 2 bedrooms one with ensuite and a living room, kitchen and bathroom. The flat was lovely, beautifully decorated, light and airy with lovely views of the fells. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to self cater. No tea/coffee/milk was provided as a welcome pack but there is a Booths Supermarket and plenty of cafes nearby. It didn't affect us but being up two flights of stairs with no lift the flat would not be appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. There is a Garden Flat on the Ground floor. Hand towels and tea towels were provided but not bath towels. Luckily we had taken our own just in case.
- George (10/5): Had a wonderful stay with family.Apartment was very clean, really comfortable and well equipped. - Location excellent, close proximity to everything. We enjoyed market days and browsing the many shops in the area. There is also a great variety of places to eat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and view from lounge of Whinlatter was beautiful.
- Ashley (10/5): Perfect place and location - Perfect for what we were looking for. Spacious rooms, lovely view of the mountains from the back, straight out the front door into the middle of Keswick, and car parking on site. Nothing, it was all good
