We had a very pleasant stay. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We were very warmly welcomed with a lovely cup of tea and home made scones. The room was really very comfortable with a very nice ensuite. The breakfast was amazing. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. It was very nice to meet you. We hope to return. Really can't think of anything.

• Clare (9/5): A wonderful, relaxing stay with very welcoming hosts - Outlook from the room was beautiful with easy access to the patio and very comfy reclining chairs. Warm scone on arrival was a wonderful and much appreciated gesture. The room was very comfortable and ensuite shower was very powerful. Breakfast was very enjoyable and our hosts were extremely welcoming. We also loved the location with lots of walks on the doorstep and highly recommend the local pub. No TV in the room.

• David (8/5): Comfortable and peaceful accommodation. - Excellent hosts, nice welcome, very comfortable clean and modern accommodation and nice setting. Did not have breakfast as needed to get away, but coffee available in the room. No television in room. No shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. No low mirror. Price felt excessive compared with 4 star hotels we use in Cornwall, the Midlands, and Yorkshire, which have tele and fridge in room, restaurant, bar and lounge, but may be due to the fact it was Goodwood Revival weekend, and not helped by the 'city tax' that they are obliged to add.

Nice walks from the house, great pub up the road, and easy drive to nearby attractions like Arundel and Seven Sisters. The hosts, Noreen and Andy (and Joey) were wonderful, as was the breakfast!

The breakfast was also very good. A nice touch was the cup of tea with homemade scones and jam on arrival. Nice shower, plenty of hot water.

Both Noreen and Andy were very accommodating, the breakfast was great, any option offered. Local pub a short walk away with a choice of great food. A full length mirror in the bedroom would be a good addition.

The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and very informative regarding the local area. The breakfast was lovely and the coffee served in a cafetière was perfect. Great shower and comfortable bedroom. The gardens were stunning and we saw lots of beautiful wildlife and flowers. Wish we could have stayed longer
