Guest Reviews
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Helen (9/5): Fantastic stay with clean accommodation, helpful owners and beautiful surroundings. - Easy access and code confirmation.
- Colin (6/5): Disappointing - Location very quiet and secluded. The bed was too small and extremely uncomfortable couldn’t sleep which is a basic requirement of any place you stay. Selected property partly because it said it had a jacuzzi the reality is that there is one on site shared with other properties and you are allowed to use it one hour a day. We didn’t bother.
- David (10/5): A fabulous, well appointed house. We will be coming back! - Beautifully decorated, spacious house, with everything we could need made for a wonderful short break. Nothing
- Luke (10/5): Fantastic - It was spacious, clean, and in a lovely situation. Nothing
- Nigel (10/5): - It was nice and peaceful location Lucy was extremely nice and friendly I would recommend it to family and friends Nothing it was excellent hot tub was brilliant after a nice day out come back and chill
- Jason (10/5): - The host was fantastic and very helpful. What a wonderful place. Nothing
- Bernhard (10/5): -
- Adrian (8/5): - Sheets that fit the mattress properly.
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): - The facilities were top notch, house was warm and well provisioned. It was ideally situated less than 30 minutes from enough to keep us entertained for the whole week.
It's also far enough from the big built up areas that we could sit outside at night and watch for shooting stars.
- Johnston (5/5): - Lovely Barn very clean nice walks Nothing left out on arrival, we live in Ireland and when you book something in Ireland like this there would be milk, tea, coffee and bread as a courtesy left out.
The hot tub was more like a hot bath as the bubbles didn't really work and it closed at five which was a little silly as the best time to go in a hot tub is at night
- Paul (8/5): -
- Ann (10/5): We had a lovely week exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside. Lots of long walks. Nearby Llandovery is a great town wi - Location was ideal. So peaceful
Plenty of room for us all
Use of the hot tub was great
Enjoyed watching the bats swooping around at dusk Beds were not the most comfortable and bedrooms got very hot in the warm weather. A fan in the rooms would help
- Buddy (9/5): The Stables cottages at Cynghordy. - The hosts Lucy, and John were very nice, and helpful when needed , and if a problem did occur Lucy was there in minutes. The converted cottage was as described, very spacious, clean, and everything was there that we needed. The hot tub was used by my daughter, and grandchildren who thought it brilliant, and so I would certainly recommend it if you wanted a quiet break in a quiet, and peaceful surrounding. I would definitely recommend. There was nothing to dislike.
- Elisabeth (9/5): Such a beautiful stay - Its a lovely house and we had a great time. It's very well equipped and we had everything we needed.
The children loved the sheep outside. It is very quiet and even if someone stays in the cottage next door, you can't hear anything at all. My 4 year old daughter said it was the greatest holiday house she had ever seen and she is already planning our next trip. Nothing we didn't like
- Daniel (7/5): Lovely place, lovely location, beautiful setting and quiet. A great place for friends and family - Location was lovely. The place had plenty of room for everyone. Bedding clean, shower was good Beds weren’t the comfiest, the cutlery and crockery had been put through a dishwasher and had t cleaned properly so we had to clean everything before using. Weird times on the hottub which meant you could only use in the daytime. And the location of the property means you ate out during the day. So a moot point that we could t use the hottub. Would also be nice if some teabags and coffee were at the place for arrival.
- Toby (9/5): A countryside retreat with dark skies and no noise - Lovely peaceful setting with access to walk through the fields. The kids loved damming the stream. Spacious living room. Very clean and well presented accommodation. The kids enjoyed the board games that were available. Having access to an indoor hot tub was a treat. Being able to charge my EV was convenient and worth the extra minor cost.
- Shaun (10/5): Amazing - incredible building with lots of space for our group. incredible kitchen and living room for everyone to socialise and relax. Lucy the host was outstanding, thank you. the property was incredible nothing wrong.
- Claudia (8/5): Specious and comfortable and good value but could have been cleaner considering all the rules the guests were expected t - Lots of space, nice bedrooms. Comfy beds. Washing mashing dryer was handy. Lovely location. Very quiet location and though we had a family next door we did not hear them at all.
The hot tub was fun though there were a lot of rules which made it hard to relax. Cobwebs, it smelt of meat grease down stairs in the kitchen and living room. The downstairs toilet had dried urine on the radiator that smelled. The check out was too early and we were no able to negotiate. There were a lot of rules.
The cooker was complicated as you had to work out how to set the timer before it would work.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Met all our requirements. Shower over bath made it a little difficult for an elderly member of our group to shower.
- Robert (10/5): EXCELENT PLACE TO STAY HIGHLY RECOMENDED - ALL WAS PERFECT.
- Ann (8/5): I booked the cottage as it was near Llandovery , and we were attending - The cottage was lovely and location was too. It was very well equipped with most of what we needed.the decor was was easy on the eye and the cottage was very clean. I booked the cottage thinking it would be all on the same level. , my husband and I are both in their 80s, so I was disappointed that there were stairs. There could be coasters for use in living area, and a clock would have been useful. Saying all that it did not deter from enjoying the cottage.
- Aneta (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, very spacious and comfortable place with everything what you need in daily life. As I'm coffee lover, lack of coffee machine 🙈
