Waren wat problemen met de verwarming maar er werd alles aan gedaan om dit op te lossen. Geen koffiezetapparaat. Dit was kort voor ons verblijf kapot gegaan en nog niet vervangen.

• Templer (9/5): Keep cottage - Nice small home, on the side of owners property. Small main room with kitchen area, dining area and 2 chairs next to patio doors. Lounge area, with TV. Chest set in the coffee table drawer.Cupboard in the main room has lots of games. Clean bathroom and bedroom up in the roof area. All clean and Lots of info attached explaining where things are and how they work. Owners have 3 cats, who like to visit, but are not allowed in one likes to try. To many of the owners items around the place, the table in the bedroom had 3 items (lamp,vase and mirror) marking different to use.

We have never stayed in accomodation where so much thought has been put in to every tiny detail making Keep Cottage truly exceptional. From the pre stay communication to the welcoming wine and goodies and then the personal farewell, Bee and Jonathan do everything possible to make sure that you have a memorable stay. We felt the need to get away from it all for a while and the tranquility of the setting really delivered. We were blessed with gorgeous weather and over 3 days enjoyed Sidmouth, Seaton, Beer and Branscombe - all within easy reach and great beaches on which to sit, read and reflect. Bee loves Lyme Regis - so do we but we were more familiar with it than the other places. It was a real treat to stay at Keep Cottage and a great tonic. Thank you. Nothing

Loved the treats….biscuits and freshly laid eggs! The absolute tranquility! Spectacular views wherever you looked! The only sound you heard was of the birds chirping! The night sky and all the stars was a sight to behold! Nothing not to like! However for those who don’t like being off the beaten track, you may struggle!

The cottage was absolutely spotless and so well equipped, Bee has thought of everything you may need for your stay from toiletries to kitchen bits and bobs! The cottage is stunningly decorated, so cosy and the view of the fields from the cottage is gorgeous. Bee was the best host you could have, she was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us, we really can’t wait to come back soon and we are so glad we’ve found this gem. Very warm and had all the essentials along with lots of other thoughtful things along side. Taxi numbers were provided in the guest book which was very helpful and the hospitality was amazing. Beautiful view and location too. There was nothing we didn’t like about the cottage everything ran smoothly for our stay
• Pat (10/5): Beautiful hideaway - This is a superb little cottage for two, attached to owners house. 3 x cosy, comfortable and lovingly styled rooms, (plus bathroom) Very comfortable bed and all very light and bright. The location is beautiful, in valley set in tiny village surrounded by hills. Yes, the roads/local lanes are narrow, but this is Devon so was expected. Colyton, for main facilities ( small, old, characterful town) is less than 3 miles away, beautiful Branscombe, Beer, Sidmouth (great shops) are all within 15 mins, lovely Budleigh Salterton, Topsham, on Ex Estuary, Lyme Regis, Honiton and Exeter slightly further away but definately worth a visit, in fact lots to do all year round. OR if weather not so good, this little cottage is so cosy and comfortable to while away a day with a good book or film on TV. We loved it. Lovely, friendly owners next door too. Nothing really to dislike, we had No phone signal (Vodaphone) but WiFi was good and handy for WotsApp calls to family. Tip, to find cottage from the main road going South of village (Sidmouth to Lyme road) is better than narrower road from Honiton.
• Grit (10/5): Beautiful place within a lovely landscape with everything you need for perfect vacations. - Fully and lovingly equipped cottage with warm and caring hosts. Everything is new, modern and clean, still the accommodation is warm and cosy. Nothing. But if you travel by car, especially if you are coming from continental Europe or the US, choose a small car and take your time…

Very clean & comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Very thoughtful touches also included eg milk, juice available in fridge for me on arrival. Also sheet available if the duvet was too hot, as well as remote control fan in the bedroom. Useful directions provided by hosts prior to my stay which definitely helped me to find the apartment. Lovely place to stay all in all. Not the fault of the owners at all but some very narrow lanes to get to this apartment with passing places every so often. Just worth being aware of this when booking.
