• David (9/5): - A pesar de ser muy pequeño, creo que ha sido la cama más cómoda del viaje. El personal muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar y dar recomendaciones. La habitación es pequeña, es de paso, sabiendo eso no hay problema.

• apedrals (7/5): No está mal por lo que pagas - Destacar la amabilidad de los trabajadores, tanto en recepción como en el desayuno. El desayuno estaba hecho al momento, delicioso! La relación calidad-precio, se ve el mobiliario viejo, faltaria un poco de mano en la limpieza pero para el precio que se paga no me puedo quejar. La habitación era bastante pequeña. Las horas de recepción son un poco ambiguas, no siempre esta abierta cuando deberia. Me encontré un pequeño dragón en la habitación y también una cucaracha muy grande. Entiendo que estamos en la selva, pero obviamente pase unos momentos tensos ya que recepción no estaba abierta para pedir que me ayudaran. También fue un poco dificil regular la temperatura de ma ducha, o se ponia fria o muy caliente.

• Alice (9/5): - The staff here were amazing, really helpful and flexible - was able to check-in earlier, request and receive a packed breakfast as I was due to go on an early morning tour etc. The hotel is ideally placed and short walk away from restaurants and you can even walk to El salto from here. Uber pick ups are really fast and the hotel is located at the main shuttle pick up points. I got a good night's sleep as it was very quiet at night and I liked the fact that there is water available for drinking pretty much all day as well as a separate kitchen upstairs with microwave and fridge for leftovers. Entry to the room was by code entry also which I liked as it meant you don't have to worry about carrying around a key or key card. There was a minor issue with the Aircon on my last day but this was resolved quickly by the staff, so would still stay here again if I was to come back to La Fortuna.

• Jan (8/5): Eine nette und günstige Option - Es war ein angenehmes kleines Hotel, in einem ruhigen Viertel gelegen, trotzdem nahe am Zentrum. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich bei der Planung unseres Aufenthaltes. Es gab leckeres Frühstück mit guter Auswahl. Unser Zimmer war eher klein - aber noch OK. Die Zimmerreinigung haben wir nicht hinbekommen, wir hingen das entsprechende Schild auf die Tür, aber es passierte nichts.

• Elena (8/5): - All three young people on reception were amazing ! They help me with everything! Translating, sim cards, booking the trips and even helping with fixing my son's phone, which got wet. The location was close to the bus station , the soda which amazing food is just 3 min walk, supermarket about 5 min . The breakfast was good , offering 4 options including fruits , juice and coffee. There is a fridge and microwave with kettle and some cuttlery on the top floor . The rooms are too small and there is no table there. My son complained that the pillow was to thing. The water in the shower wasn't warm enough .

• Maria (7/5): Nice location, staff and breakfast - The staff is lovely. They helped us massively when our luggage was delayed! The location is great, close to the main road but quiet. Breakfast is also good value for money. The showers temperature was hard to control. Mattresses too hard for my liking.

Parking jest bezpłatny, ale pomieści tylko trzy samochody. Czystość, szczególnie kuchni przynależącej do pokoju pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Klimatyzator jest bardzo niefortunnie umieszczony, dmucha bezpośrednio na łóżka.

• Bernadett (8/5): - The breakfast was more than amazing! The location is perfect, you can reach the centre within few minutes of walking. The service was also great. We had mold in our bathroom and the wall was quite dirty.
• Stephan (7/5): Für unseren zweitägigen Aufenthalt ganz okay. - Das Hotel macht den Eindruck einer guten Jugendherberge. Die Zimmer sind zum Schafen geeignet, für einen ganztägigen Aufenthalt aber zu klein. Das Licht im Zimmer ist eine Deckenlampe; Lampen am Bett gibt es nicht. Das Bad erfüllt seinen Zweck und war sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, der Kaffee für uns allerdings ein wenig zu dünn. Ins Zentrum von La Fortuna waren es nur wenige Minuten; dort waren auch gute Restaurants zahlreich zu finden. Nur eine Deckenlampe im Zimmer, keine Sitzmöglichkeiten außer den Betten. Sehr hellhörige Zimmer.

Included Breakfast was a plus, we could choose from a few options. Unlimited coffee was the greatest advantage for me as it’s unusual in Costa Rica. We liked this place :) Toilet paper concept should be changed to more hotel-style as the current one is like in the shopping center.

• Maricela (9/5): Great place - The best part was the breakfast in the morning. The second best part is the location. It is a few minutes walk from downtown and it's easy to get access to the hwy to the attractions. Needs some storage area for clothes.

It also leaked water. The cover on my bed was badly stained.

• Schmidt (7/5): Nettes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück - Zimmer war sauber und das Bad sehr groß. Es gibt eine Föhn was echt von Vorteil ist. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit. Das Familienzimmer wäre zu viert echt etwas zu klein und das Waschen mit 5€ pro Kilo echt zu teuer.

• Franziska (2/5): Für uns leider enttäuschend - Es war relativ sauber im Zimmer, das Frühstück war ok Das Zimmer, das für 4 Personen ausgelegt war, war für 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind zu klein; Es gab keine Ablagen/Aufbewahrungen; Der Generator der Klimaanlage auf dem Dach brummte sehr laut; Der Wasserhahn des Waschbeckens war nicht mehr verankert und lieferte nur ein kleines Rinnsal, das zum Händewaschen kaum ausreichte; Die Klimaanlage lief aus und tropfte auf das obere Stockbett. Es hat sehr stark in unser Zimmer geregnet, die angebliche Reparatur nach unserer Beschwerde hat wohl nichts gebracht, denn in der nächsten Nacht wurden unser Bett und der Zimmerboden sogar tropfnass; Wir haben immerhin das Geld für die verbleibende Nacht zurück erhalten, als wir früher abgereist sind.

La chica de la recepción es un amor de persona, me ayudó con tips para mis tours y gestionó mi trasporte. El desayuno preciso para comenzar el día. No tenían frigobar en la habitación pero nada que fuera importante por lo menos para mi.

• Helen (10/5): - Location - in the quieter part of town but only 5 minutes walk to the main town square. There’s a grocery store just around the corner. Room - comfortable and clean. I slept so well. Breakfast - the traditional one is so delicious. Staff - last but not least, wonderful staff! They have been helpful since I booked the accommodation. They provided information on tours, transportation etc. They have great suggestions on where to go and what to do. Thanks to their recommendations, I enjoyed my stay in La Fortuna a lot. Nothing at all.
