Guest Reviews
- collom (10/5): - Very well set out, spotless with fresh milk and water in the fridge. Great to have a well equipped mini kitchen. Conversion of building is high quality with detailed finishing. Lovely peaceful location with outlook over arable field which had lovely flower margins, great to wake up to bird song and especially hearing a yellowhammer. Leaving.
- Christine (9/5): Lovely stay, hosts were very welcoming and generous, genuinely making sure your stay was great - The surroundings were beautiful, the Hideaway was comfortable and nicely furnished. Loved the Outlook from the balcony, even saw a family of hares in the adjoining field. Nothing
- Peter (10/5): -
- gordon (10/5): - Spotlessly clean with everything we needed, balcony overlooking the fields, secure parking
- Emma (10/5): Amazing - Lovely place and people hosting Nothing
- Alan (10/5): - A high quality, well equipped property. Exceptionally quiet in the countryside. Nothing.
- Mary (9/5): Outstanding studio apartment in peaceful setting with lovely host. - Location was outstanding beautiful scenery and absolute peace and quiet. Studio apartment was exceptionally clean, warm & the bed comfortable. The complimentary toiletries were amazing & the host went above & beyond to cater for a request.
We would return again. A fold up table & chairs for breakfast would be an asset for inclement weather as we couldn't use the wrought iron table & chairs outside as the previous nights rain had made them too wet.
The shower tray was quite slippery once shampoo and body wash were on it- maybe a small mat.
I struggled to bend down to find a socket near the mirror to dry my hair.
- Joanne (10/5): Perfect for a quiet get away. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family - Peace and quiet...perfect

The hosts were kind and friendly, and the little hideaway had all we needed before we headed off to a music festival after a good night's rest.

- Cathy (10/5): Comfortable, peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful countryside - The Hideaway is a delightful, secluded mini studio apartment in the garden of Kay and Mark's home near Tollard Royal. We enjoyed four very comfortable nights there. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfortable, the terrace afforded fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, and there was parking right outside. It was very useful to have small the fridge/freezer, microwave and simple cooking facilities to make ourselves breakfast and light meals. Kay and Mark were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We would absolutely recommend the Hideaway - such a great find! Some way of setting dishes out to dry after washing, and a mat or another tray to protect the wooden surface near the kettle would have been useful. Otherwise, we really couldn't fault it. It was great!

- Richard (9/5): The perfect setting for a peaceful, relaxing break - The Hideaway is idyllic. We wanted to be able to get away from the noise of the city in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. We got exactly that. The room is beautifully furnished and exceptionally comfortable with loving attention to detail. The hosts were really friendly - respectful of our privacy but there if we needed anything. Sitting on the balcony with a drink, watching the sunset in complete tranquillity was the perfect start to our holiday. We will be back. n/a
