• Mario (9/5): - The location was excellent, right next to campo de'fiori and within a reasonable walking distance from almost all things a tourist would want to see! There were some small works outside the room for a part of our stay and the cars outside were partly loud.

• Stanisław (10/5): Świetna baza do odkrywania Rzymu! - Lokalizacja przy Campo de' Fiori to absolutny hit, wszystko w zasięgu krótkiego spaceru, a jednocześnie z dala od najbardziej zatłoczonych turystycznych szlaków. Apartament wygodny i dobrze przemyślany na kilka dni w zupełności wystarczy. W kuchni ekspres kapsułkowy, apartament wyposażony w lodówkę, a dla tych, którzy dbają o szczegóły: parownica do ubrań i suszarka do włosów. Łazienka nieduża, ale funkcjonalna i niczego nie brakuje. To, co wyróżnia to miejsce spośród dziesiątek innych opcji, to zaangażowanie właściciela. Przygotował interaktywną mapkę z własnymi pinezkami: sprawdzone restauracje, lodziarnie, ukryte miejscówki, których sami byśmy nigdy nie znaleźli. Dzięki niej poczuliśmy smak autentycznego Rzymu, a nie jego turystycznej fasady. Stosunek ceny do jakości na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Polecam! Wszystko było dobrze!
• Tomislav (9/5): Great trip to Rome, Claudio and his availability made it even better. - Fantastic location; 20-30 walk to wherever you want to go. Nothing stood out in particular.
• Raymond (8/5): Klein, einfach, aber perfekte Lage! - Top Lage um Rom zu Fuß zu erkunden. Restaurants, Eisdielen, Lebensmittel, alles in nächster Nähe. Vermieter hat uns einen früheren Zugang in das Appartement ermöglicht, um unsere Koffer abzustellen. Super nett! Appartement ist sehr klein, keine freien Regale o.ä.,man muss aus dem Koffer leben. Platz hat es aber nur für Bordgepäck. Die zwei Sitzmöglichkeiten sind ein Holzklappstuhl und ein alter Sessel, wo man jede Sprungfeder spührt. Besteck und Geschirr nur minimalst, zwei Tassen, zwei Gläser... aber ein funktionierender Kühlschrank und eine Kapselkaffeemaschine. Das Bett war uns zu hart, ist aber individuell. Vermieter denkt über einen Topper nach.

• Tobias (9/5): - Claudio war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wenn man in ein paar Tagen Rom zu Fuß erkunden möchte, gibt es keine bessere Lage. Wir waren sehr froh, auch tagsüber mal kurz in der Wohnung die Beine ausruhen zu können, bevor es wieder in die gemütlichen Viertel von Rom ging.

• Πούλιος (10/5): Great option for your trip in Rome - Draw a square on the map of Rome including all the sights and locations that you will find on social media and you want to visit and you will see that this apartment is exactly in the middle. Claudio is really helpful with everything, the room is very nice and well equipped. For those who wonder, there is a Stranger Things theme with the closet being the entrance for the bathroom and kitchen. Overall, a great option for your trip in Rome.

• Tomasz (10/5): Idealne lokum na citi break w klimatycznej okolicy - Mega plusem jest lokalizacja. Wszędzie chodziliśmy pieszo. Bardzo blisko piazza navona, fontanny do trevi, pomnika wiktorii, panteon, schody hiszpańskie. Równa odległość około 30 min pieszo do Watykanu i Koloseum. Dosłownie środek centrum miasta. Z okna lokalna restauracja z domowym jedzeniem. Gospodarz super. Wydał nam mapę z najlepszymi restauracjami. Podesłał sugestie w temacie pobytu min linki do stron z rezerwacjami biletów bo na miejscu nic nie kupicie. Nie było problemu z nocnym meldowanie ani z pozostawieniem bagażu dłużej w apartamencie. Finalnie skorzystaliśmy z przechowali bagażu, która jest 20m od apartamentu.

Oryginalny wystrój, nie tylko dla fanów Stranger Things 🙂 Wszystko zgodne z opisem. Bardzo czysto, lokal zadbany, klima daje radę, ekspress Nespresso (kapsułki mozna kupic w Carrefourze), rewelacyjny kontakt z właścicielem ( zameldowanie i wymeldowanie zdalne, bardzo doceniamy gotowość do pomocy mimo późnego zameldowania i mapkę z podpowiedziami). Jeśli tylko będziemy w Rzymie to chętnie wrócimy 🙂

The AC is important during summer months and we were glad we booked Stranger pod. Claudio is a fantastic host and he was attentive and very responsive. This property and service is great value, very comfortable, and the location is one of the best for tourists.

We loved the “Stranger Things” vibe and little quirks (it had never occurred to me to access the toilet and kitchen by walking inside a closet!). The location is great. It’s very easy to get anywhere in Rome and there are more than plenty eating choices around, the only problem was choosing haha (tip: we fell in love with the Forno Roscioli 50 m down the street - be sure to try it!). Claudio was a great host, always accessible and ready to solve problems, and his recommendations were great too - grazie mille. The bed linen were an issue - I’ve seen cleaner bed sheets…

• Oleksandr (9/5): Good place to stay in Rome for few nights - Great location, all famous places can be reached on foot. Nice and clean with all you need, including coffee maker, dryer hair, etc. Room a bit small, no dinning table.

The building felt secure, and we didn’t experience any noise disturbances. Clod was an incredibly kind and helpful guide, offering great suggestions for restaurants and luggage storage. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and well-equipped for our needs.Clod was always in touch with us during our stay and quickly addressed any concerns we had. Thank you for everything, Clod! However, the sheets could be improved as they had some stains.

• Nathalie (10/5): Best place for your own Roman holiday ))) - This apartment was really a good choice. First of all, the location is absolutely ideal for those who want to discover historical part: it's just in the heart of ancient city, in a few minutes walk from the main attractions (Navona, Panteon, Trevi etc and may others). The building is really ancient, very original , with a view of the dome of Sant'Andrea della Valle basilica). The design of apartment is original with a hidden surprising bathroom and kitchen ;-) Claudio was extremally helpful and really 24/7 in touch to help or to advise something if needed. He prepared really good suggestions what to do/to see in that area - which I highly appreciate. So.., conclusion: next time in Rome we will try stay the same apartment if it will be available. It's normal that the ancient building has no lift )) we personally enjoyed these quite narrow stairs (especially that an apartment is just on the 1st floor). Just consider it in case if you have some difficulties of getting up etc

• Lauren (9/5): Lovely stay, great location! - Great location and Claudio answered any queries really quickly. Felt very secure and was comfortable. Nothing major - it would have been good to have a hair dryer and some extra pillows. While it’s very secure, an additional lock on the inside of the apartment door would have been reassuring.
• Nebojsa (2/5): Used Google translate to translate it to English - do not want to spend more time here. - From 17.08.23 to 20.08.23 we were in Rome and rented Stranger Pod through Booking.com. The accommodation is indeed in an outstanding location, close to most attractions, but unfortunately that's where the benefits of this accommodation end. We received instructions from Claudio (the host) on how to enter the apartment - 3 electric locks, a narrow corridor to the top floor and finally a simple key to enter the apartment itself from the corridor where the "kitchen" is located. To our surprise, instead of the colorful room (wallpaper) in the pictures, we found a pale, unsightly room. Instead of the new bathroom from the pictures - we got an old bathroom with strange stairs and visible traces of mold (ancient bathroom in an ancient city). In the apartment located in the attic, the temperature at the time of our arrival was certainly over 28 degrees, although the AC device was set to 16 degrees (before we entered - not from our side). Of course, we immediately called Claudio - and his answer was that the AC was not working in the Stranger Pod, and that's why he automatically upgraded us to a better, bigger and more expensive accommodation one floor above. I emphasize that we were informed about this only at the moment of our entry into the accommodation and after we asked why we were not accommodated in a paid apartment. Judging by the pictures that I manage to find later, the accommodation really looks bigger in the pictures. In view of the paid tours with a guide, I reply to Claudio that I would still agree to the apartment, but that I should expect problems with the AC device and the temperature during the night in advance. Considering the temperatures in Rome (35-38 degrees) - it happened as expected - the AC device could not cool the room in the attic and it was almost impossible to sleep. Given that the accommodation is located in the center, ventilation is not possible due to the amount of noise from outside (until the early hours of the... Claduio advised us to set the AC to 20-22 because some girl already had a similar problem - which of course didn't help. On the third day, at our insistence, he sent someone to fix the AC device (after 2 sleepless nights) - and after that the AC worked properly - i.e. it managed to cool the accommodation. All this of course confirms that we were right from the beginning. We also informed Booking.com about everything, which claims that it cannot help us in such cases - even though we feel cheated. In any case, do not count on the assistance and protection of Booking.com - they are there mainly to take their commission and nothing more. In the end, Claduio refused to charge us the residence tax in Rome as a form of apology (21 EUR), which of course we do not consider appropriate and sufficient. All in all, we can give the accommodation one more rating than the lowest just because it is in a good location. Accommodation in which there is mold in the bathroom, which cannot be cooled and in which you cannot sleep, accommodation in which we did not get what we paid for but something else does not deserve a higher rating.

It's evident that the host takes great pride in keeping the space spotless, and it made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Location-wise, it couldn't have been better. The apartment is situated in a prime area. What truly made this stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming host. In summary, if you're looking for a clean, well-located apartment with a host who will make you feel right at home, look no further! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return for another memorable stay. Thank you to the host for making my trip so special! Iron and air conditioning missing. There was only an air fan not always enough for the exceptional heat of Rome.
• Shawn (9/5): I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Rome. - Fantastic location. Walking distance to all the main attractions and a foodie hotspot. Claudio our host really made us feel at home. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and in a very historic building. Make sure to ask Claudio about it. Main attractions like the Pantheon and Piazza Navona only a short walk away. I'd say less than 4 min walk. When back in Rome I'll definitely want to stay here again.

• Toe (3/5): DO NOT GO TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED IN AD - The location was good, it was in a nice area but not very close to the major attractions. The location is the only reason I would consider recommending this place to someone, and I would tell them to stay somewhere different but nearby. Where do we begin? 1. The lock process was awful, it involved three different pins and four sets of locked doors. 2. The apartment itself was advertised as themed, which didn't matter to me much personally, but the room was an all white box, void of decoration that used to be roof storage space. 3. The kitchen was less than a metre wide, it was two stovetops on a small table with drawers underneath. 4. The coffee machine was broken and had no pods, milk, or pot for the coffee to go in. 5. There were two bar fridges inconveniently inside some drawers, one was broken and the other was unplugged and barely working (lukewarm). 6. The toilet wouldn't flush and the water inside continuously trickled into the basin.We didn't use the bidet, but it looked broke. 7. When we left, the hosts sent us a rather abusive email accusing us of not leaving the keys behind, which we did, and venting that we didn't change a pin code on one of the countless lock boxes. 8. All of the walls were covered in totally empty white cupboards that were useless and sometimes locked, if you care for aesthetics. 9. If you care about a view, be prepared to enjoy a parking lot through small windows. 10. The cumulative impact of the arduous lock process, terrible facilities of every kind, rude hosts and misrepresentation in the ad cannot be saves by the location.
