Our main concern was that the central heating was still on making the room very warm Central heating being on when it was 19 degrees outside. q

• Charlotte (9/5): - Chrissi ist eine lustige und wundervolle Gastgeberin! Sie macht sehr leckeres Frühstück und bespricht mit dir deine Wunschzeit zum essen. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett war ein Träumchen. Sehr bequem. Die Lage mochte ich persönlich sehr! Es ist ruhig, idyllisch und trotzdem hat man alles was man braucht um die Ecke: ein Supermarkt, ein tolles Café, Restaurants, die Bushaltestelle (ca. 25 Minuten nach Birmingham New Street). Das Winterbourne House ist fußläufig gut erreichbar (ca 1 Stunde durch die Siedlungen), was ich sehr empfehle. Sehr gerne komme ich wieder!

Breakfast is very good. Moreover, very peaceful atmosphere. Money worth accommodation. There was nothing that I did not like about the accommodation. Very professionally managed. Never seen any better accommodation than this one.
• John (9/5): A delightful, peaceful spot, yet just a stone’s throw from everything. - Beautifully presented and full of character. Lots of lovely touches everywhere. Christie kindly brought fresh milk to our room so we could enjoy a cup of tea after a long drive. The breakfast was delicious, thank you so much!

• Diogenes (10/5): Comfortable and very convenient stay. - Did not have breakfast. Stay was very comfortable. Location very convenient. Clean and tidy. Quiet and peaceful. Will be going again on 4/4/2026. Booking is already done. There was nothing that I did not like. It was family atmosphere. Never had a better accommodation before. Rate is also quite reasonable.

She also serves an amazing breakfast! The room and bathroom were very clean and had homely and welcoming features. We really enjoyed our stay and didn't have any issues or complaints.

Welcome cupcakes in our room but as we checked in quite late and checked out early, we didn't have the chance to try them. Amazing breakfast. Parking would be rather difficult on the street. We checked in around 8pm on Thursday night and it took us 15 mins to find parking.

• Vikki (1/5): Dud parking grim looking area - Didn't get the chance to find out When we arrived which was a bit early we could not find a parking space anywhere at all and we drove around for nearly an hour so I rang the host who just said "what do you expect it's Saturday and people are shopping you maybe able to get somewhere a few streets away , I've lived here 35 years it's how it is." According to site it's free parking with no restrictions what they dont add is if you can park anywhere near the property 😉 so effectively if you plan to use as base to visit places of interest dont count on finding a space when you get back. After an hour of further trying to find anywhere to park to at least have a coffee with no luck we gave up and drove home. As such we cannot comment on property .

• Anna (10/5): Wonderful, the perfect stay with the most fantastic host! - Chrissie was the most wonderful host. Extremely welcoming and so accommodating. I had to leave Albany House early the next day and the early check out wasn't an issue, Chrissie even set up a breakfast for me to have at 6am..! I am looking forward to my next visit and will definitely be booking again.

Perfect location just off the high street and plenty of parking. Highly highly recommend! Chrissie was warm and welcoming . I wish I could have stayed longer!

• Ellie (9/5): I had a great stay at Albany House Harborne. It was lovely to meet Chrissy and her lovely dog - Chrissy was very welcoming and took care to check in on me and see if I needed anything. She was very thoughtful in arranging breakfast around my timings which was really appreciated and the area is peaceful with lots of nice shops and places to eat nearby.
• Amber (10/5): Amazing, you have everything you need. Really great value for money, would love to stay longer. The lady who owns it is - The property is a really lovely Victorian home so it has a lot of history and is well taken care of by the owner. The decor is amazing and gives a real luxurious feel to it even if you are travelling for work or just staying for the one night, it still feels like a treat! Nothing not to like. Of course there is no on site parking but there’s plenty of on street parking in a safe residential street.

Lots of toiletries to choose from in the bathroom and nice soft towels. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice, with fresh orange juice, fruit and yoghurt, toast, and cooked breakfast of potato cake, sausage, tomato and mushrooms. Great location for access to places to eat in Harborne. Just could've done with more electric sockets in the room

• Lindsay (10/5): FABULOUS - What can I say, Chrissie is an amazing hostess, who made me feel welcome as soon as I set foot through the door. My room was like home from home, beautiful decor and with treats and tea/coffee making facilities. I was even treated to a cup of tea on arrival. The bed was very comfy with luxury bedding and fresh, high quality towels for the morning. It was peaceful and quiet and I had a great sleep fresh for my work induction the next day. In addition breakfast was fabulous, with a special little desert course to follow. I felt spoilt. The only thing I disliked about my stay was that it wasn't long enough!

We slept very well in the comfortable bed & the breakfast was delicious, we were made to feel very welcome and would definitely recommend this lovely B&B for a stay. Nothing ! We could not fault it !

• Beverley (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable!! - Perfectly situated for all the area has to offer. Premises were spotless and comfortable. Parking can be a problem but nothing the owner can control. We always managed to find somewhere and we gave a large car to park! Chrissy the owner did everything to make our stay a memorable one. Her quiet passion for creating special breakfasts is unique. She was interesting, friendly but not overpowering. We had a delightful stay and need an excuse to pay a return visit!!

Warm and friendly welcome from a lovely host and a fantastic breakfast. Only slight drawback was parking on the road but I found a space very easily on a Saturday afternoon.
