Guest Reviews
- Stuart (9/5): - Location, facilities, cleanliness Minor point , fridge space limited for large groups, no sepeate downstairs toilet.
- Sophie (10/5): perfect venue for our family retreat - The location was perfect for our family and we felt at home after a long drive to Wales.
As close as posible to our planned walk up Pen Y Fan and a relaxing jacuzzi after.
Tesco deliverman knows how to get here!
every utemsil you need in the kitchen Make sure you turn right just after the little bridge or you end up going down a very narrow lane ! haha
- Lesley (10/5): Couldn't have been better - The location was absolutely superb, and the property was very home from home. Also very well kitted out with everything you could need. I appreciated the ground floor bedroom as I have mobility issues so it was perfect. We all enjoyed the artwork and homely touches around the place, and the complimentary wine of course! Also the different outdoor seating areas were lovely. We used the hot tub and even the bbq as the weather was so hot, and then on the Sunday evening when it went chilly we lit the dining room fire while we ate our Sunday dinner. Considering we were only there for two days we definitely made the most of it, as did our dog - we appreciated the provision of throws, although we do always take our own. Not much to be honest, but if I'm being picky, a bigger sign at the entrance as we sailed right past. One of the outdoor chairs was damaged but we used one of the ones near the hot tub so it wasn't much of a problem! The pepper grinder fell to pieces, a split plastic part, while being used - we hope you realised it was broken as we left it without its lid on. Absolutely nothing that affects your 10/10 score.
- Stephen (10/5): Three couples and two dogs enjoyed a special weekend together celebrating a joint 60th birthday. -
- Marilyn (10/5): Just perfect! - Cleanliness, cosiness and everything that we could possibly need for a perfect break. Nothing

- Donna (10/5): Perfect break away with friends, comfortable and relaxing with an added bonus of a hot tub! - Comfortable bedrooms, very spacious and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen!
Lovely views, peaceful and a lovely welcoming basket of wine and Welsh treats!
Would definitely recommend! Nothing as it was perfect!
- Helena (10/5): - The host was really responsive and organised everything really well. We also did a fair amount of cooking and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location was also exceptional, and felt very private. There was also a fair few board games and tips of the local area which were good for entertainment. Honestly couldn't fault anything

- Stuart (10/5): Great property in a stunning location. - Amazing location, great host. House was fully equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable.
- Susan (10/5): Fabulous retreat - A weekend to remember. This gem of a cottage had everything. We had a lovely welcome from Alan with a few surprise supplies. Every ensuite bedroom was spotless and comfy. Plenty of books and games, balls for the dogs. We had a lot of fun in the Garde and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. We have had a fabulous family weekend making precious memories. No-one wants to go home so we have to come back again. Peaceful and secluded yet not far from a lovely pub where we had Sunday lunch, even the dogs and a had a lovely walk round Brecon town while the younger, fitter family members went to the Waterfalls and Penyfan. All in all, a great find and high recommended 👌

We were a group of 7 and had the best weekend, set in a lovely peaceful location on the doorstep to amazing walks and views! The hot tub was the best way to end our days and we are already planning our return!

- Ian (10/5): Great place - No skimping on anything - kitchen foil, kitchen towel, bin liners, dishwasher tabs, logs etc etc - all there. Great kitchen.
In and out of the jacuzzi at will. Um... maybe bathroom lighting too dim, but I only used 2 of the 4!
Bedside light progressed from dim to very bright before turning off. Just very minor niggles.
