Guest Reviews
- Dennes (10/5): - It's great for anyone who needs a cheap stay close to the airport
- keating (10/5): Definitely worth the money and lovely stay - Staff were soo helpful and friendly ..picked me up from airport at 2am for 10 pounds ..2 double beds in room all towels and free tea coffee and hot chocolate in morning downstairs
- Joao (8/5): - Everything No comment
- David (4/5): Disappointed - Close to airport. bus stop across busy road out of there. Not much space, no kettle in room had to go down stairs but couldn’t really access it due to piles of laundry in way.
Room door wouldn’t open fully due to carpet dragging on it.
Front door was damaged on lock and struggled at times to get in
Had to ring reception on arrival from number on door. When finally arrived he was I wouldn’t say rude but got the feeling that every day was a bad day and I was an inconvenience.
- Philip Turner (8/5): Great for overnight stop before an early flight. - Reasonably priced and handy for the airport. I'd certainly have no hesitation in using them again. There was nothing to dislike.
- Emma (5/5): quick pit stop - no frills - Got what I paid for - cheap room while just needing 5 hours to get my head down after a late flight before work. This is not a holiday hotel but cheap easy stay for a night i had no expectations of greatness but served a purpose without being fussy - the vendors were however lovely and friendly
- bazillier (1/5): -
- Nicola (5/5): Cheap, good location for airport but tatty but guess you get what you pay for - Good location for the airport and a cheap price. Tatty looking and outdated, dirty looking bathroom and stained shower tray, no lock or mechanism to shut the toilet door and french doors to the room were not very secure. Very thin walls. Heard neighbours rutting away for an hour at 2am.
- Lisa (8/5): -
- Sylvia (10/5): -
- jessie (8/5): Really friendly staff. Clean and well maintained - Huge hotel large car park. Nothing but maybe a kettle in your room could be considered.
- Abdalla (4/5): Was okay stay. - There was no breakfast or aminties in the room. Room was very small and had a an attached bathroom. Also there was a TV in the room with basis channels. Parking was crowded but manged to squeeze in everyday. It was cheap and I guess what we paid for. The room offered neither breakfast nor in-room amenities. It was quite compact and featured an adjoining bathroom. Additionally, a television providing fundamental channels was present. Parking proved challenging due to congestion, yet I consistently managed to secure a spot each day. The accommodations were inexpensive, aligning, I presume, with the cost.
- Razaq (10/5): Perfect in every aspect - Clean and quiet environent perfect for a good night rest!
- Mark (8/5): Handy place to base from for work. - Friendly staff and lots of parking. Stay here often. Nothing.
- Mark Jones 795 (6/5): Does the job - Basic, but comfortable clean bed, did the job. Dated untidy decor
- T T D (1/5): Not a nice experience. Won't be using them again - I didn't know that Adnans are a part of The Gables and are not clearly sign posted for parking. The room was small and upstairs, the bathroom room towel rail was broken etc. I requested a ground floor room as I am disabled. They put me up above in the building. When I went to the carpark in the morning, they had deliberately blocked the exit of the car park with a car parked across the entrance and exit. They took over an hour to move it, I only just made my flight. This caused me extreme unnecessary stress.
- Steven (6/5): For the price ok. - Location Bit dated. Rather untidy reception. Tea/coffee facilities at reception not in room. It’s not Adnan hotel. It’s gables.
- Jon (10/5): Extremely comfortable bed resulting in an exceptional 2 hour sleep after drinking shenanigans in Birmingham. Waking up f - Extremely comfortable bed resulting in an exceptional 2 hour sleep after drinking shenanigans in Birmingham. Waking up for our early flight refreshed some what! Up the Leigh Leopards! Nothing to hate.

- Do Carmo (2/5): -
- Elizabeth (7/5): So near the airport with free parking - Clean, warm and comfortable I stayed in a single room en-suite It’s not about the property itself, but the hotel is actually called the Gables and to get to parking is quite difficult although a staff member met me and came in the car with me to show me the way to the hotel’s entrance.
- Lewis (8/5): Cost Efficient stay close to NEC and Airport - Convenient location, very cost effective and friendly staff. Fantastic Indian restaurant connected for evening meal. Car parking on site. Close to amenities. n/a
- susan (6/5): -
- Devone (10/5): -
- winifred (5/5): -
- Declan (10/5): Great hotel - Nice staff members ,good down the road ,relaxed budget friendly can't go wrong No complaints atall
- Imran (7/5): -
- Clews (5/5): -
- amirah (8/5): Good but cigarette smells - The room was suitable and enough for a night stay. I had a good night sleep. There's a bus stop across the road that you can take from and to the airport and the city. The room smells like cigarette and its not good for asmathic people because it could make you a little hard to breath.

- Nadia (5/5): -
- Simon Esh (8/5): - Great location for Birmingham airport, excellent value for money for those looking for a bed , Adnans kebab shop next door do a fantastic Chicken Tikka in Naan bread. Very friendly and helpful staff Little bit of noise from road outside but not enough to spoil my stay
- Gunnar (7/5): - Gute Lage am Flughafen, schlichte Ausstattung, ordentliches Bad.
- Maria (7/5): -
- Lewis Lewis (5/5): Cheap optio for one night - Very helpful & friendly staff. Location for Birm airport, apart from difficulty to find car park. Found it difficult to find the car park. Best to use Google maps rather than car sat nav. Bed a bit small. Kettle in recepton, would have liked it in room.
- Mark (8/5): Great base for local work. - Friendly and clean.
- Mark (7/5): Friendly staff and lots of parking. - Handy for work. Clean and comfy.
- Mark (6/5): Great location for work in local area. - Parking good. Comfy. Tea bags included.
- Philip (7/5): It was a short, one night, no frills stay, and exactly what I needed. - Adnans is actually a curry house next door. I got what I think was the tastiest curry I have ever had. Top marks there. It's on a very busy dual carriageway, and the route into the hotel car park isn't immediately evident.
- Team Ltd (7/5): Tiszta szállás kedves személyzet ideális ha korán megy a repülőd -
- Alejandro (9/5): -
- David (6/5): It’s a budget hotel it provides what’s needed a clean comfortable bed. - Easy to find easy access via road to local area
Staff polite Car park very busy hard to find a space maintenance could be better
The tv was propped against the wall and the reception of the channels very poor
- Thirishia (2/5): The hotel stay did not meet the expectations advertised. Wouldn’t stay again. - The bed was comfortable. The hotel wasn’t were it was advertised it is in the hotel across the road.
My room had a window open that didn’t have a handle to shut from the inside so the room was freezing. Member of staff shut it from the outside. Bathroom door and shower door did not close properly.
- Denise (6/5): Room was basic but comfortable, great location for airport buses - There was no breakfast available Shame no restaurant although the take away next door was ok and good value for money ! No hot water for early morning shower
- Michael (7/5): Fairly good value - did the job. - Quiet room near a busy main road. Close to bus stop to /from airport location. En-suite bathroom good size. Concierge pointed out other facilities close by And the location of the bus stop. Room was very stark basic plain - no soft furnishings or pictures on walls. Strongly suggest provide a bedside lamp as main light very glaring. TV remote needed a good clean.
- lockser (8/5): - Super bien desservi avec les bus, et un Starbucks à côté ! Très bonne qualité prix Faible isolation sonore et thermique
- Angela (5/5): 😏 Did not take any. Just need to get a good cleaner. - The property was a little dated. Wall paper torn. Needs decoration. The room was freezing, I slept in my jumper and used my coat on top. The mattress only had one sheet and around the edge of the mattress was dirty and the cupboard needed cleaning. The carpet edge looked like it had not hoovered.
- Paul (2/5): - Nothing to like about it sorry
- Sarah (8/5): Great comfortable value with helpful friendly staff. - Good location. Parking. Greeted at the door. Helped to room with bags. You don’t get that at a Travelodge! Helpful staff. Good value. Great little takeaway next door. No tea or coffee in room.
- Jacqueline (3/5): Would not stay again - Handy to bus stop Smells of smoke
Badly broken sink
Dirty
- Lynda (7/5): Room review - The room was comfortable and clean. Well ventilated. TV in room, and ensuite shower room. The bed was comfortable. Opportunity to use dining area and kitchen facilities. Coffee and tea provided near the main entrance. Friendly staff and resident cat. Parking facilities and close to NEC. No kettle in the room, and limited access to drink making facilities. No plug for the sink in the shower room. The water was cold when showering. Awkward to find when driving due to the accommodation being on a narrow lane.
- HURLEY (7/5): -
- ADNAN SABAHATTIN (10/5): - Stuff were very very helpful, polite and friendly and also Adnans Hotel stray cat Tommy is so cute and friendly. Easy to access to the airport and Birmingham. Bus stop is very close. Walking distance. X1 & X12 bus lines. Gas station is very close you can get everything when you need. Adnans restaurant food is very delicious open 5:00pm 10:00pm.
- Samantha (3/5): Very basic accommodation but cheap - It's closeness to the airport Dirty stained walls, the smell of nicotine, the road noise, the windows that didn't open or felt like they were going to fall out.
- Martin (7/5): Good for the price -
- leander (1/5): Not good, did not stay. - We did not even stay there, took one look at room and bathroom and was not for us, broken radiator, cold , right by main road, the room did not smell nice, no kettel in room as stated We did not even stay there, took one look at room and bathroom and was not good enough to stay at, the radiator was broken, the room was cold, it was right next to main road, the room did not smell nice, smelt like a smokers room, not kettel in room as stated, and parking was awful. So we put keys in box and walked straight back out, so we list our money.
- Ellie (5/5): -
- Sunday (9/5): Top quality service - Customer service was impressive and professional. Nothing really
- John (6/5): -
- Megan (3/5): -
- Mark (8/5): Great - Comfy and friendly
- Sahir (3/5): -
- Claire (6/5): Clean and good location - Room was clean
Easy to get to from the airport. Located by service station Booking wasn't on the system. Had to go to a different hotel to check in then call someone to come open the door. No tea or coffee facilities. Very noisy, could hear people in other rooms. TV broken.
- Huggins (6/5): -
- Sarahjane (1/5): -
- Stephen (1/5): Terrible front door not safe and secure - Cleaned
- Peter (10/5): -
- Aumed (8/5): -
- Calistus (10/5): - The are very welcoming
- Holly (8/5): Pleasantly convenient and good value for money. - Clean, pleasant landlord, good parking for Birmingham, town centre accessable by bus, delicious kebabs next door. A little difficult to find initially.
Bedside lamp.
- M. (5/5): You get what you pay for. Bigger hotels are full of trouble so this small hotel felt safe at least. - I had a single room. Very warm room and hot shower, all to myself. My last stay before this was Bristol YHA (with some fairly odd people, YHAs like big chain hotels tend to attract weirdness or maybe that's just my bad luck), so this smaller guest house establishment was definitely a step up, for a small premium over a communal YHA dorm, it felt nice and safe and private.
Great location for the NEC, I was able to get to and from the NEC from the X1 bus stop at the Cargo Terminal (within easy walking distance).
I was also able to reach the hotel from Birmingham centre using the X1 bus, getting off at the Cargo Terminal stop. The wardrobe was broken, and had no coat hangers, the desk was wobbly. They could easily buy decent used furniture, l don't get why they don't.

On the front advertised cafe n restaurant but there was NO food facilities.
The walls were tht thin,u could hear next door walking round
- Scott (2/5): - So dirty.
- Anthony (7/5): -
- Mohsin (7/5): -
- Chris (7/5): -
- Yessica (5/5): Confortable - El traslado al aeropuerto era uno de los servicios que prestaba el hotel y no como un extra que había que cancelar La falta de claridad de los servicios prestados por el hotel, lo que es del servicio y lo que es pagó extra
- clive (6/5): Not Plush-But fitted the Bill for me 😊 - Cheap for One Person and Short Taxi Drive to Terminal on OTHER SIDE OF RUNWAY No Mirrors in room or bathroom
- Henrique (5/5): -
- Keith (7/5): - Pleasent & clean, would book again Some rooms had no TV & a bit small.
- Busani (7/5): -
- Keith (7/5): - Pleasent and clean, would book again The odd room didn't have a TV & much room.
- Peris (10/5): I'll highly recommend anyone to book a stay with them 😁 - The location is very ok ,well accessible from the airport,I like it security top notch, forget my charger in the room and till now no one have reached me up yet... Kindly post it please to my address 🙏Share your no I send my address please or reach me up on my shared Whatsapp no... thanks 🙏 The bed was well straightened but the toilet was smelling, and I noticed some chocolate, sweeets papers and water bottles under the bed,it's like they forget to change the room towels, they had stains but at least I had mine. Kindly check on cleanliness
- mohammed farooq (10/5): GOOD STAY - Everything 0
- Price (4/5): - The price Distance from airport seemed to be as the crow flies.
Waited outside hotel for over half hour before I was attended to.
- mutsa (7/5): It was on par for the price. - Privacy
Warm room
Secure The carpet was not clean and had yellow and black stains. The shower had cob webs in the corner. Kindly update photos and navigation details on the web.
- Adina (10/5): - Cheap an easy to get to the airport at 4 in the morning by the taxi offered by the hosts
- Mark (8/5): -
- Giuliana (4/5): No transfer to the airport as promised. Hotel is not close to the airport. Cheap stay. - I had to wait approx. 30 min in the cold to get in the property at 22 PM, there was no one there to open the door. I scheduled a transfer to the airport at my arrival with the receptionist. When I was waiting for it at 03:30 AM, they told me they do not provide this service and that I needed to call a taxi and it would be approx. 20 min! They also told it would be the same price as the transfer (10 pounds), which was not true and the taxi charged me 20 pounds to leave me in the free drop off area at the airport. It is not good to stay there if you are going to the airport, it is far away!
- Asim (1/5): Never again not even for the £35 it cost - Nothing Noisey hear planes in and out all night
No heating
Prior to arrival all windows was left open
Bed is hard
Complained about the room next to me are playing music at 2am and was told nothing they can do as they are also paying customers
