Θαλεια (10/5): Φανταστικά - Όλα ήταν άψογα. Από που να ξεκινήσουμε. Εχει γίνει εξαιρετική δουλειά τόσο από τον ιδιοκτήτη όσο και από το προσωπικό. Πρόκειται για ένα ιδιαίτερα αρχιτεκτονικά κτήριο το οποίο έχουν σεβαστεί και αναδείξει όπως πρέπει. Είναι πεντακάθαρο στη καρδιά της Ερμούπολης - στα βαπόρια. Διαθέτει ό,τι χρειάζεσαι. Είναι όλα πεντακάθαρα, το προσωπικό είναι ευγενέστατο και διαθέσιμο όλο το 24 ωρο να σε εξυπηρετήσει. Πάντα με χαμόγελο και καλή διάθεση. Η Κλεοπάτρα- είναι εξυπηρετική, ευγενική,- σε γνωρίζει προσωπικά και είναι διαθέσιμη να καλύψει κάθε γούστο και ανάγκη. Πρωινό φανταστικό. Δεν έχουμε ούτε ένα αρνητικό. Μια πολύ όμορφη εμπειρία που σε κάνει να σκέφτεσαι ότι υπάρχουν ακόμα μέρη και άνθρωποι που σέβονται τη φιλοξενία και τα χρήματα που διαθέτεις. Μας έκλεισαν παντού, μας εξυπηρέτησαν στα πάντα και ήταν όλα υπέροχα! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ

Metaxia (10/5): Excellent - Everything! A renovated old hostorical building with extremely good taste, attention to detail and luxurius features.
Petrice (9/5): Beautiful spot with high end finishes - Everything was gorgeous from the beds to the robes and indoor pool. Location was great as was the food and service. The only reason I gave it 9 instead of 10 was because we were told breakfast was anything from the menu and as any times and then were charged for something extra at checkout. Aside from that the stay was wonderful.

Christos (9/5): - The hotel was beautifully renovated from an old house, and we were very happy with our choice. It was in a great location, extremely comfortable, and our room was clean and modern yet elegant. However, the service could be improved, as it took too long to receive simple orders like coffee and breakfast. The staff were friendly and polite, and they were helpful with tips about the island. Overall, we highly recommend the hotel, but be prepared for slow service during breakfast.

Robert (10/5): Extremely delightful! Would stay again. Absolutely! - We had expected a more traditional hotel, but it was a converted mansion and was very stylish. The staff, facilities, decor, breakfast and cocktails were outstanding. Visited the rooftop for cocktails almost every night Some sort of shelf for shampoo and shower products would be great. The room was small but did a lot with the space it had. Nothing else, really
Duarte (7/5): Fancy hotel without proper service. - Excelente recuperação do edifício. Trabalho minucioso de bom nível. Conforto dos quartos. Falta de funcionários no hotel que se reflecte nos tempos de espera. Dez minutos à espera do pequeno-almoço à la carte porque há apenas uma funcionária a servir todas as mesas. Num hotel de 5 estrelas não basta contratar 3 ou 4 boys and girls que mais parecem ter saído de uma agência de modelos. Espera-se mais do que isso. Apesar de estar situado em Vaporia, o hotel não está na primeira linha de mar e não tem acesso directo à água, ao contrário do que acontece com outros hotéis.

It made our first visit to Syrose en more special. - Its unique Syros old world style, the great location and the friendly staff Our room the Viktoria suite was located directly below the rooftop restaurant/bar and at night every time the dining chairs were moved around we could hear all the noise in our room.

Excellent location, a five minute walk from the main square and only a few minutes away from the best restaurants. Excellent hospitality and service from the hotel staff. It is quiet, comfortable, with unparalleled facilities and a personal element that sets it aside from anywhere else I have stayed before. Manthos (10/5): a long, romantic weekend in Hermoupolis - Argini is located at a historical 19th century building. It offers comfort of higher standard while preserving elements from the initial decoration and atmosphere of the building. The personnel was really polite and helpful. The concierge service supported us with the booking of activities in town, which made our overall experience more enjoyable. The personnel also supported us with special wishes, including transport and storage of our wines (purchased in Santorini) so they would not get spoiled in the car in the hot weather. Breakfast was also daily freshly prepared using partially locally sourced ingredients. The service concept of the restaurant Elexis at the rooftop was not up to our expectation. Our appetizers and first courses arrived almost simultaneously which made our tasting experience slightly stressful (as the warm appetizer arrived with the salad and had to be consumed warm).

ROBERTA (10/5): - This was an amazing find, and we selected this island in part because we found this great hotel. The property is a newly restored mansion, and all of the original structure is maintained while being updated with modern touches. Thus, each room is distinctive. The new design is understated to complement the original building, yet they have done an amazing job of making it suitable for today's traveler. There are lots of outlets, well placed lighting, well equipped bathrooms, and more. While the structure was amazing, most impressive was the young, energetic, creative, service-minded staff. Hotel personnel in the dining room and the reception areas went above and beyond regularly in arranging reservations including a tour, booking taxis, massages, etc. The young, very talented woman hotel manager was gracious and explained the history of the property along with describing the extensive restoration The included breakfast was excellent with a variety of menu choices. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the downtown and harbor areas where visitors will find good shopping and great restaurants. We would return there again and will tell our traveling friends about this unique experience.

Hanna (10/5): I almost don’t want to share this place - it’s that good! - Opened in spring 2024, this hotel won us over with impeccable service and its beautifully restored charm. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, blending history with modern luxury. It’s the perfect spot to relax and feel genuinely welcomed. For my taste, the pillows were a bit hard - I prefer feather pillows - but everything else was perfect.
Ross (9/5): Superb - Superbly clean, very central very nicely served breakfast with plenty of choice. Although having said that, no smoked salmon available although on the menu. It's probably an overnight hotel no where to sunbathe, rooms fairly small , indoor pool very small more of a plunge pool.

Brendan (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay in a brand new hotel that is living up to the standard it wants to be - Argini was a last minute hotel booking for me, my wife and my parents. It had only recently opened, so obviously there can be some trepidation, but the whole hotel experience matched the website. The hotel is incredibly elegant - taking a beautiful neoclassical building and modernising it. The end result is beautiful - the fixtures and fittings of the rooms were first class. The hotel was small and boutique in size, and this meant the service was very personalised, and all of their recommendations were spot on - from restaurants to beach clubs. The food at breakfast was superb, with an excellent selection a la carte. We also ate there one night for dinner, and the food as exceptional as well - the fish was sourced from their choice of local fishermen, and for me, the local fish ceviche was spot on in terms of flavour balance of salt/sweet/heat, and that's not something you can always say about modern food in Greece. The hotel is family run, and I think this is reflected in the warmth of the service. All the staff were excellent and accommodating. We had a car and an added bonus was a private car park for the property - a rarity in Ermoupolis I think. The location of the hotel was fantastic. A few minute's walk from the town square and hall, a minute's walk to Agios Nicholas church and a few minutes walk to Little Venice where you can have a swim off the rocks if you like. Nothing - the stay was exceptional, and we would return in a heartbeat!

Simon (6/5): Pleasant - Staff were very helpful and kind. My wife was unwell on the last morning and they were very courteous and even paid for our taxi on departure. The decor of the hotel is very nice with a beautiful rooftop terrace. Location is great for short walk into town. The rooftop pool is for aesthetic purposes only - contrary to information on booking.com (i.e there is no outdoor swimming pool). The cheaper rooms are very small and as a result have limited facilities (e.g clothes rail instead of wardrobe) falling short of what would be expected of 5 star accommodation/prices.

David (9/5): Beautiful, boutique hotel in a great location - The staff are brilliant. The hotel design is classically modern with so many eye catching features. The chef who creates a wonderful breakfast is charming and continuously seeking perfection. The location is so quiet and within walking distance of everything. Unfortunately the plunge pool on the rooftop couldn’t be used. I’d have also selected a bigger room, with better views. Though these are not dislikes, just considerations.

The 19th century ceiling murals are a sight to behold and the interior lighting make them even more special. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was of a very high quality, without breaking the bank. The fact that we didn’t book more days and had to leave.
