- Ryan (9/5): -
- James (10/5): Great communication. Clean house and perfect location. - Lots of space and everything we needed.
- Roseanne (8/5): We were in a great location to explore the Lake District and eat at lovely atmospheric restaurants. - Great location
- Sowmya (8/5): Overall it was good, my children and husband loved the stay, plenty of children books were there. - It wasn’t a B&B but felt like a home as we entered
Owner is very quick in responding about everything on the phone. Very homely No complaints
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - Facilities and location Lack of crockery, coat hangers and wardrobe space in one bedroom
- david (8/5): excellent house in the centre of Kendal -
- Andrea (9/5): Great value for money. - Great stay, property is in a great location and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The building is in need of some repair/decoration but it looks as this is ongoing.
- Dave (9/5): Excellent clean house for a hassle free stay - Just a short walk to the pubs and main shopping areas. Excellent value between the four of us. Although we went out for food, all the kitchen appliances/utensils were there so you could cook your own meal and make it a home from home. No mirror in bathroom of main bedroom and bedside lamp didn't work but think it just needs a bulb. These are not deal breakers or complaints but just observations.
- Gemma (8/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Spacious, clean property. - Spacious property. All good
- Malissa (8/5): - Location, ease of getting in, warmth, number of bathrooms Downstairs toilet flush was broken, some beds were quite rickety & mattresses could be better
- Kalene (10/5): Lovely spacious and cost. Host were very nice to check we arrived and everything was ok - Plenty of space lovely and clean! Downstairs toilet had no flush and with 3 floors kept us fit 😂
- Jay N Lynne (5/5): OK, but overpriced and didn't have a homely feel to it. Very tired. - The location was in close proximity to the town, just a few minutes walk to the centre. We met with friends, travelled in 2 cars and I had to park my car 1 mile away from the property, as there was no additional parking available for a second car. I had an additional £22 to pay for my parking. The property was scruffy, the beds very uncomfortable.

- Mckee (7/5): Nice period property - Beautiful period property close to center of kendal. Clean and tidy Beds were uncomfortable .
Some of the flags stone at front were loose and are an easy trip Hazzard for an elderly guest
- Amanda (8/5): Great location and comfortable, quiet house. It was perfect for a weekend trip! - The house was well located with a free parking space. It was well equipped and comfortable for five adults over a weekend
- John (10/5): -
- robert (7/5): Great. - Feather pillow! Air fresheners.
- Vikki (7/5): I would definitely return and don’t let it out anyone off as overwhelmingly it was a great place to base yourself. - This property is in an excellent location for the centre of Kendal. There were plenty of bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and even an air fryer. There was far too many plug ins and air fresheners everywhere it was so over powering but can see why as the property was old and perhaps the carpets could have done with a clean, they weren’t dirty as such but there was slight dog smells etc underlying in one of the bedrooms in particular and the windows wouldn’t open. There was also no soap left in that bedroom en-suite nor was there much toilet paper either.
- BEATA (9/5): - Wszystko było idealne. Czyste pokoje łazienki kuchnia. dobra lokalizacja świetny kontakt z właścicielem polecam
- Charles Mark (9/5): -
- Purvi (8/5): - There were no fans and I spotted a few spiders.
- Rebecca (8/5): A great house for a family or a crowd. - It’s a beautiful, spacious house, easy to find and centrally located for the town. We were impressed with the high spec bathroom facilities. The off-street parking is essential and although it says one space we were able to use two. The decor is modern, dare I say slightly tacky and out of keeping with the character of the house, which is a shame as it could be amazing if it was designed to suit the age and style of the property. Also although it sleeps eight there is only space for six to sit at the table - so I’m not sure how that would work.
- Arundhati (8/5): - The property is in a great location. Very spacious and comfortable stay. It would be good to see basics food essentials like salt and pepper for breakfasts
- Marieken (9/5): Very nice house close to Bowness-on-Windermere - Big house, good bed, nice smell. So many bathrooms and bedrooms. New chairs were ordered for the dining table, ones that were in the house were broken. No problem at all since we never ate there. One of the toilet seats was loose but there were so many toilets it was no problem to avoid.
- Theresa (7/5): - Great size house. Nice and clean. Good location for popping into town. Off road parking space was handy. Hot water depleted quickly - cold showers for some of us in the evening.
There were 8 of us staying but seating was limited.
- Hannah (8/5): Very good - Large bedrooms, lovely bathrooms which seemed very new. Great proximity to the town centre. Sufficient parking for 3 cars directly behind the property. Some books and games provided. Lovely choice of places for food and drink in the town centre just a few minutes walk from the house. Seating at the dining table and in the lounge only for 5 people. Unable to open windows in the lounge or several bedrooms. Lounge would benefit from another side table.
- Laura (10/5): Spacious cottage in the lakes - Spacious cottage close to town centre
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Had a great visit to Kendal great location and host very helpful we were only there 1 night so didn’t really use any o - Good location nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Also having a parking space was a bonus. The back steps are quite steep and no bannister. If we wanted to sit outside no table.
- Richard (7/5): Good - Great value and location. Good size rooms and property Lack of hot water to the top floor/in general
- Sean (8/5): Great place in a great town. - Nice, spacious, fully equipped house. Couldn’t get hot water???

- Katy (6/5): Okay for a night but wouldnt stay for a week - It was very spacious and had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children The heating didn't work properly and the showers was freezing
- Donna (9/5): Superb - Large enough for a family get together. Some steps at the back door.
