• Charlotte (9/5): Fabulous find in a great location! - Location was fab, host was great at sending over instructions for when we got there, everything was easy to follow, the property itself is lovely, nicely decorated and had everything we needed for the weekend stay, wouldn’t know you are in the middle of Newcastle once you are in there! Would definitely stay again. Nothing negative to say
• Denise (9/5): Perfect place to stay in a lovely, friendly, vibrant city 😊 - The location was excellent as we were going to the Theatre Royal, it was literally across the road! Everything within walking distance; really good restaurants, excellent shopping and the metro straight to the airport! Marlon couldn’t have been more helpful, I had some mobility issues at the time of staying and even though there is a spiral staircase down to the bedrooms, he made us aware of the fact that the bedrooms could be accessed by a further door on the same level. The apartment was spotless and had everything we could have required including tea and coffee beans. Beds were super comfy and the linen smelled amazing. Lovely to have a bath and a shower to choose from. I would definitely stay here again!

• Wendy (10/5): Great stay, hosts were so accommodating, wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend to others - Loads of room, full kitchen with everything you can possibly need even for a longer stay, central within the city. Can’t really say anything negative, only thing I can say which is really trivial is the door handle on stairs down to bedroom was hard to grip.

• Rose (10/5): A fabulous gem - The location is excellent and surprisingly quiet! The facilities are exactly what you need for a stay in the city and the downstairs terrace is a huge bonus. Loved it being on two floors as it makes it feel more spacious and gives privacy. Marlon is an excellent host ! We had to leave and I have to give it a great review so I hope it's available when we want to come next time! 🤣

The beds were so comfy and the location is great! Although we were near shops and restaurants, the apartment still felt very private. The owner was also very helpful, accommodating an early check in and also answering very quickly to a question we had. Could not fault our stay & would love to visit again! :) Nothing

Marlon accommodated our request for a late check out too which was appreciated. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Well provisioned for the things needed for a short city break, including tea, coffee etc. Tip for those staying - ensure the bottom immersion heater is turned on when you arrive. We forgot to turn it on (despite the person who met us saying to do so!) and ended up with no hot water on Saturday morning! Whoops!

Very near to shopping area and train station was walking distance as well. We were not used to having rooms below and kitchen & living rooms upstairs. The heater wasnt working well and the water heater had some minor issues as well. We were there during winter and not having a proper heater was an issue.

Host took our luggage early until the apartment was ready and provided a later check out which was greatly appreciated. Overall a very comfortable stay and very quiet even though it is located on the main street. A stunning old building, highly recommended.

• Charlotte (10/5): Brilliant stay at a lovely city centre apartment - Perfect city centre location and the apartment was big, clean and well kept. The property manager was brilliant and very friendly and accommodating of an earlier check in and later check out request. Beds were comfortable and it was great having multiple bathrooms and a big space in the kitchen and lounge. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely welcome and flexible arrival asked departure times It really isn't clear from the description ior photos that this apartment is on two floors separated by a rather difficult spiral staircase. Totally unstoppable for older or less mobile (like it's). Run with shower ok but other bedroom is strike over substance with no proper shower and too open bathroom. Made it rather uncomfortable although the rest was all great.

The apartment was quality and had everything our family needed. Big spaces and more conveniences you normally get. All appliances were clean as new. Not a cheap choice but made our stay in the town stress free and enjoyable.

The location was really central and a great position for getting around the city. Although central it was lovely and quiet at night time. The apartment was nice and spacious and really clean. We will be back Thank you 😊 There is only a slight thing there is a bath in one of the bedrooms looks great but would’ve been nice to have 2 showers, we went away as 4 friends 2 couples and we all had to use one shower located in the other bedroom.

The apartment was perfect and had everything needed. Spotless and clean. Such an amazing price for what you get as it's huge! Loved it! Would definitely be back and 100% recommend.

Really big and specious, the beds were SO comfortable and loved the giant tub! was great in the cold mornings 😊 The apartment was spotless and welcoming, really wished we had more days there. The location’s really good, close to the o2 city hall which was exactly what we needed. Loads of food options and shops around as well. When we arrived to Newcastle it was raining and our internet kinda crashed so we couldn’t find the place, The host left a football match he was at to come help us in the rain! He was incredibly nice about it and that was just lovely of him. He was super responsive as well and really helped us with anything we needed, best experience I’ve had. Cant wait for our next Newcastle trip, we’ll definitely be staying here again, HIGHLY recommended!

• Russ (10/5): Great apartment, great management, great city - Our second visit and it was just as good as our first. We were met by the director, Marlon, who was very very welcoming, warm and friendly while being completely business-like and direct: perfect. And we bumped into Mike, who met us last time and was just as professional and friendly as last time even though he was off duty. Both of them make staying in this really great apartment something special – it's not often that you can say that the people at a short-stay apartment were genuinely delighted to see you, but Marlon and Mike were genuinely delighted to see us. As before, the apartment was spotlessly clean: it's clearly something they pride themselves on. Fully equipped, spacious but still cozy, a wonderful place to unwind after a busy or stressful day, a great place to wake up in before a busy or stressful day! This is a great place to stay in a great city, and right in the centre of things. Perfect. I'd like to pretend there was something negative – anything negative at all – in order to make it more likely that there would be availability for our next stay in March/April. Don't stay here, because we want to book it again! But no: stay here. You'll love it.

• Russ (10/5): A spacious but cosy two-floor apartment - Spacious apartment, yet still cosy. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Perfectly located on Grey Street, right in the middle of everything. Lovely and warm, but with powerful air conditioning that got us cold in no time at all after a long and sweaty day out! We were met at the door by Mike, the apartment manager, who was really friendly and welcoming. He showed us around, let us know about the foibles of the area around the apartment that you get in every city, and did a quick health and safety briefing (fire alarm, emergency exits, that type of thing) that are the mark of someone who cares and should be the norm everywhere. We had a great stay and will be back repeatedly. I'm struggling to think of anything negative. The air conditioning and heating controls are behind the TV, which is a little bit awkward, I suppose, but if that's the best I can come up with for a "what didn't you like" question... well, that shows something!

• Roger (8/5): Good clean and comfortable accommodation in the heart of the City Centre. Only gripe is lack of park - Well located in the centre of Newcastle Town Centre. No parking available. Had to use NCP Car park at considerable expense.

Warm welcome from host who ensured we were settled in and had everything we needed: faultless hosting throughout! Property is wonderfully situated- right in the heart of it all and super convenient for cutting around. Even though it’s in the centre it was amazingly quiet in the property so a good night’s sleep guaranteed! Facilities were great, v clean apartment and all round highly recommend!

Those spiral stairs were impossible to get a case down ! Maybe a couple of cupboard/ wardrobe type units where the desk area is - would be perfect ! But we just left our case’s upstairs.
