Guest Reviews
- Jeanie (9/5): Very cute cottage with beautiful surroundings - Really warm and cosy and very beautifully furnished. Bed was gorgeous and sitting room was large with fab sofa! Very generous welcome pack and owners were very friendly and on hand to help - Phil the owner let my husband wash down and store his bike. Beautiful little village with good pubs too! Nothing
- Sue (10/5): Phil & Sue were excellent hosts and I would certainly recommend. - Host Phil was there on arrival with keys. Very friendly. A nice hamper was a welcome surprise too. Sue lent us deckchairs for the beach, which was so helpful. They were around if we needed them but gave us privacy too - a lovely couple. Cottage was lovely, and in such a good location for Lindisfarne. Wonderful - we loved Northumberland and hope to return. We had a great stay - thank you so much. Only a small gripe, as overall the cottage was excellent. The kitchen had no oven gloves and no dish/wipe cloths. I wouldn't normally expect to take my own on holiday! Also, some salt in the store cupboard would have been very helpful. Perhaps we expect to cook when we do self-catering rather than always eating out, but it's worth considering for other guests.
