Guest Reviews
- aude (8/5): - C'est spacieux, fonctionnel et charmant.
Position centrale pour visiter le sud du Pays de Galles. La qualité du lit : très mou
Route assez passante : on entend bien les voitures
.
- john (9/5): Excellent little cottage -
- Sally (10/5): I will definitely return! - Rose Cottage is gorgeous ! Spotlessly clean, the most amazing shower, and an extremely comfortable bed.
- Johanna (9/5): Lovely accomodation and good communication with host - It had everything I needed well equipped kitchen

Spotlessly clean Nothing
Although parking on the drive was a bit tight
- Laurent (10/5): Parfait - Tout était vraiment très bien !
- John (10/5): Rose Cottage - Lovely little cottage (ideal size for just myself),
Only 15 mins away from my current project.
Has everything needed.
I'll definitely try to stay again if available. Nothing disliked.
The owner was very helpful and understood the somewhat unusual demands of night working.
- Melita (10/5): - The cottage was really lovely, our host met us and gave us a quick rundown of everything, and said any questions let him know The weather 😭😂😂
- Jing (10/5): Perfect 👌 - Home away from home. Ian’s top bloke. Kept the place clean and tidy. Everything you need is available. Peaceful and beautiful. Can’t recommend enough. Will be back 🥰
Many thanks, Ian. 🙏
- marie (10/5): Amazing stay at rose cottage - Cleanliness, homely feeling relaxing off street parking. Great host very friendly. Would highly recommend. Nothing
- Tarver (10/5): Perfect property for our 1 night stay - Lovely quiet location
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional - Location was good
Cottage was clean and comfortable
Ian was easy going and was available if you needed anything really lovely week would recommend to anybody. There was nothing that we didn't like
- Lois (10/5): Lovely night in a very comfortable setting - Lovely location
Quiet
Lots of space Nothing
- Anne (8/5): Cosy cottage - It was a perfect size for the 2 of us, it had everything we needed. Cosy once the heating warmed it up ,
The owner Ian lives next door so if you need anything it's easy .Easy to access from the main road and positioned great for us to go the places we needed to go to.
The bed was super comfy but king size would have been even better. The bathroom was great once we got it warm, lovely shower and so spotless.
We will definitely go again if in the area. There was no heat in the bathroom or kitchen and it was very cold , but we improvised and got over it.
This isnt a criticism and i dont want to offend but personally I think it could have a few more homely items added to improve the cosiness and also with the bedroom been so big a king-size bed would greatly improve it and a large mirror is needed in the bedroom.
Outside the garden/drive needs a tidy up and perhaps a sign saying Rose Cottage
- Lucy (9/5): Superb - Clean, beautifully decorated, very comfy bed and great shower.
- Marian (8/5): Comfortable stay. - The cottage was very comfortable and it looked as if the kitchen and bathroom had been newly refurbished. Adequate parking and in a good location for visiting a number of places.
- Troy (10/5): Excellent spot - Everything, it was compact, spotless, and all essentials supplied. Location ideal and off street parking available. will definitely book again if available for when we return!!
- Paul (10/5): Brilliant, would recommend to everyone. - Fantastic host, fantastic property.
- Rills71 (10/5): Cosy, warm and Immaculate - Ian was very friendly, on hand if we needed anything etc. Cottage was gorgeous, cosy, spotlessly clean, had everything you needed etc. Location perfect too. Will be back in the future. Thankyou again Ian 😊 Nothing at all
- Mark (10/5): Great place to stay with everything you need. - Great little cottage in a fairly quiet village, next door to the church.
Everything we needed for a couple of days when visiting family in Saundersfoot.
The owner was very friendly and was there if we needed him, even put us a couple of chairs and a table outside as it was unexpectedly sunny for Wales !!!
Great power shower. Lovely large bedroom but just a double bed, we’re two quite tall and wider adults now so a little cosy, a king size bed would make all the difference, but we did know before booking.
- Rees (9/5): Very comfortable stay - Ian is a genial host, and the apartment is warm, comfortable, and attractive. There are so many things to do and see in the area, I wished I could have stayed longer. The only improvement I could suggest is a few more bits of kitchen equipment, if I were staying for longer - maybe a grater? Everything else was great.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Lovely clean well equipped house. Owner was welcoming and friendly. Really comfortable bed. All good
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (9/5): A great place as it was all self contained and I could do my own thing and very clean. - Fairly Easy to find
It had all the equipment I needed.
The shower was fantastic
The bed was the most comfortable ever
Lovely and quiet
WiFi was good enough for my needs. Nothing at all.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional - Only stayed for one night, there was everything you needed. Very comfy bed, excellent shower and a hone from home feel.
- Adrian (9/5): Perfect for what we wanted - Clean tidy well prepared
- Mike (10/5): Brilliant location for Pendine Sands - Location Nothing
- Alison (8/5): A happy short break. - Host very friendly and there to meet us. Location very convenient for journeys to the coast and further west. Well stocked bathroom and kitchen. Two pubs conveniently close - one with three EV charging points. A curtain in the bedroom (in addition to the blinds, which let in light) would have been welcome, as would a fourth pillow. The beds were softer than we are used to, but I appreciate that this is a matter of personal taste.
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is spacious, comfortable, warm and cosy. It has a fully appointed kitchen for self catering and the bathroom has the best shower ever. Off street parking was a bonus.
It was perfect for our two night stay Nothing
- Dale (9/5): Superb -
- Nick (8/5): Excellent. Will stay again - Very modern clean accommodation.
Wi FI was a little temperamental but sure it's normally okay. Nothing. Very nice stay
- Jamie (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Dominic (9/5): Superb - Friendly hosts immaculately clean Nothing
- Hannah (10/5): Will definitely be coming back! - Everything, Ian was so accommodating and lovely. Excellent location, the property could t have been cleaner and fresh facilities- 10 out of 10 Nothing
- Liz (10/5): Very clean & comfortable - Very clean, comfortable accommodation in a great location. Nothing to dislike.
- Huw (10/5): Exceptional - Very well maintained property, great value for money and an excellent host.
Many thanks
- Wendy (9/5): Lovely place - can't wait to return. - The property is in excellent condition and beautifully appointed. The owner met us on arrival and was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again when needing to visit Pembrokeshire. The bed was a bit small for us but the bedroom is plenty big enough to accommodate a king-size bed or even another bed so maybe that can be considered for the future. There was nothing we didn't like - it was a lovely cottage.
- Anonymous (8/5): All that we require and host very helpful - Good facilities and location suited us very well Outside garden is a work in progress
- Brett (8/5): Good - Good Good
- Andrew (10/5): Couldn’t have wished for a lovelier place to stay in a stunning area - Everything about the property was spot on. It had everything you needed . A lovely modern twist to a beautiful little cottage. Immaculate throughout. Lovely bathroom , kitchen . The lounge is lovely and cosy and the bedroom is quite spacious . Plus the owner lives next door to the cottage and you wouldn’t find a more helpful or friendlier man . I can honestly say there was nothing we didn’t like about this cottage .
- Margaret (10/5): A great cottage in a lovely village - The host was very welcoming and the location was perfect for sightseeing in the SW of Wales. We enjoyed the use of the power shower, the bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was equipped to a good standard. There was lots of storage space for our stuff. The television channels and stations provided were more than adequate. Nothing, everything was to our liking.
- Shaun (9/5): Superb -
- Leejo (10/5): Exceptional - Charming little cottage, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's a lovely, quiet location, and allows easy access to other areas. The kitchen has everything you need, and the power shower was really appreciated. It met all my needs, so no complaints.
- Jeremy (9/5): Superb -
- Rita (8/5): Great stay in a modern, clean cottage in a quiet village just outside of Carmarthen. - Modern cottage that was very clean
Located in a quiet village location
Village was located in a very central location between Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire
Host - Ian - was very welcoming
Parking was available right outside the property
- Paul (10/5): Excellent refurbished cottage in quiet village, everything pristine, clean and tidy. -
- Sian (9/5): City couple in the country - Host was amazing and couldn't help us enough. Ian was incredibly friendly and we ended up having a few beers at the pub with him. He's a great laugh. Property has a country feel but is modern where you want it ie kitchen/bathroom. The bed is actually more comfy than the one I have at home which I forgot to ask the host where he got it from. Lol. It's great to have off road parking since there is a lot of on road vehicles parked near this property. Can't say there was anything I didn't like. I know Ian is in the process of working on the garden so I can't wait to come back and see his progress.
