Guest Reviews
- leszek (1/5): -
- Amie (7/5): Clean and comfortable - Fairly clean, property had almost everything we needed for a short stay. Back yard- insecure- piece of wood to the rear of the property. No blue bag and all the bins were full.
- Samuel (10/5): Well priced well looked after property perfect for a stay - Property is well decorated clean and tidy Beds weren’t the most comfortable
- Bernadette (8/5): - Not applicable The property could do with a little maintenance and a designated car space
- Barry (8/5): Church street - Good central location for getting about. Not very clean, could do with a refurbishment as the decor is a bit tired.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (8/5): Great ! - Clean spacious Grumpy neighbour- telling us not to park in case his mum visits.
- Elspeth (10/5): Exceptional - It ticked all what we needed for our visit Dishwasher couldn't be fully opened
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional - All is fine There was Jerry and no Tom.
- Panojot (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (9/5): Superb - Was very clean and comfortable. We arrived at 3.30am and had been travelling in freezing conditions and when we arrived the house was so lovely and warm. Was a lovely size and location was perfect. There was no hoover and we had a baby crawling around so would have liked to have hoovered especially as the front door comes straight into the living room but this wasn’t really a “problem” x
- Cliff (8/5): It was ok for where we needed to go - Easy for our destination No light to get the key out of the key safe,no instructions for the tv no hoover
- Chris (7/5): Lovely and convenient - Convenient Needed a washing machine and hoover to use. Also couldn't open the dishwasher fully to load it.
- Richard (9/5): Comfy, easy, clean, nice hosts and competitive - Nice and convenient for where we were, nice and spacious
- Michelle (9/5): Great place for a short stay. - The property is spacious and modern inside and the hosts left us tea, coffee, milk & hot chocolate for our stay as well as some of the cleaning products we'd need (washing up liquid, dish washer tabs, toilet rolls) We had everything we needed for our stay.
Most of the beds are comfortable but one of the doubles seems to have gone a bit in the middle. A downside for us was the Street parking but that couldn't really be helped. We were advised to park half on the pavement which we'd recommend too. It's a narrow street with a driveway opposite.
The double rooms were small and only had a bed and a set of drawers in. This was fine for our 2 night stay but they'd probably be more spacious as a single and could then have a wardrobe. I guess the hosts are just maximising available beds.
An older review mentioned a screw sticking out in the bathroom floor. That was still there and really made me nervous that someone was going to cut their foot or hurt themselves generally. Though thankfully this didn't happen.
- Charles (9/5): The property is well located and is well equipped, providing a very comfortable stay - The property was well equipped and very clean. It provided sufficient room for alll three of us It took ages to get the key safe open. We entered the correct code and pushed down on the sliding opener, but the box refused to open until it eventually and inexplicably decided to open. Also there is a nail in the floor in the bathroom which is being used as a doorstop, which could have caused serious injury if I was not wearing slippers
