- Hannah (9/5): Felt very welcome and comfortable. - Immaculate. The most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever stayed in, dishcloths, laundry pods, cafetière, everything. Nice welcome pack. Got the feeling I was very welcome and my comfort was a priority. Double bed was divine.
Great for accessing walks and Muker show. Unfortunately the tea rooms was closed 3 out of the 4 days I was there and no pub in Thwaite but short walk to Muker. Lounge layout is limited by the space. I stayed alone with my big dog but two couples would be tight in bedrooms due to lots of fitted wardrobes.
- Andrew (8/5): - Lovely quiet location in Thwaite. Traditional cottage with modern facilities. Very peaceful with river flowing behind it. Good cooking facilities, wi if, all good.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Superb location for our needs of beautiful countryside and great walks.
Our host was warm and friendly and made our stay a memory to enjoy for ever. Nothing
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Great location as a base for walking. The cottage had everything we needed for our week long stay.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Carole (8/5): Very good - Lovely location with walks on the doorstep The fact it was non refundable
- Mariama (10/5): Brilliant - There wasn't breakfast. The location was good Nothing
- Abhinav (10/5): This was a perfect Xmas holiday we as family had envisaged. Thanks Pauline for making this possible. - This location is set in picturesque locales of north Yorkshire. Adjoining to the property is a small waterfall and stream that runs through and is a perfect spot to spend some time in peace. Pauline our host has created this property with a lot of attention to detail. There is everything in the kitchen that you need in self catering cottage. The warmth extended by our host when we arrived was second to none. She provided lots of essential and goodies to make us feel welcomed. There are lots of beautiful adjoining villages and lovely trails if you are an avid walker. Everything was fine from a property perspective. The fact that this place is in a remote village not many shops and restaurants are nearby.
- Rob (10/5): East Cottage Excellent - Highly recommend, the owner is absolutely wonderful, communication excellent, and the cottage and welcome top rated. So clean, comfy and has everything and more that you need for your stay. We will be booking again.
- Jayne (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the cottage and certainly relaxed. - Lovely old stone cottage in quiet village right in the Yorkshire Dales that suited us perfectly for our sightseeing travels. All the appliances were easy to use and the host had thought of just about every eventuality that was very welcome. Parking onsite and a safe and secure environment. All was good, would definitely recommend and would stay again if possible.
