Guest Reviews
- Susan (8/5): - Uitstekende locatie, lift!
Spätes Check In 15 Uhr,
- Edward (8/5): - The location is amazing, right next to the river and walking distance to everything. Unfortunately you don’t have view of the river from the apartment. The elevator to the apartment is a bit rugged

Elevator didn't work

- Fiona (8/5): Good Florence base - Great location in walking distance to main sights, away from the crowd but with good local restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Railway station 15 minutes easy walk. Comfrey bed and nice bedding and towels. Good washing machine, drying rack & iron etc.
Nice and quiet at night.
Lovely to watch swifts from our windows flying above and below us. Respect that it is an old building but the apartment could benefit a refresh and some attention to detail that will enhance stays and improve ratings, others have given similar feedback and ideally should be dealt with. Here’s my constructive feedback based on staying five nights;
Fix Shower - temperature is intermittent, hot -cold……then maybe hot!
Kitchen - provide a few small pans, nice chopping board, more than one dish towel.
Decoration - paintwork needs cleaning/decorating and some nicer pictures etc. would create a better ambience.
- Rozanne (6/5): Pleasant - Location The kitchen and utility area can be cleaner and more mantained. Itll help too if they have a guidebook to explain how to use the facilities like the other appartments.
- Lebriz (5/5): Passable - The location was good and there was no street noise, so we could sleep well. The sheets and towels were new and clean. We could see the far away green hills and houses from the windows, which was nice. The apartment is not well looked after. The deep-freezer was so full of ice that the door was half open. It had to be cleaned in the afternoon so that it could function. Then I saw how dirty the floor was, worse than a street. I was afraid of dropping something on the floor! I think nobody is controling the cleaner, who is doing a very bad job. We also had difficulty using the hot water. The elevator is very old fashioned; the user should close the inner doors. If somebody forgets to do so, too bad! You have to walk and the stairs are like a labirinth and dark.
- Emily (8/5): Perfect little apartment on Arno River with stunning views - Amazing location and stunning views from the room. Super quiet and peaceful. Host was lovely and would help with any enquiry I had which i really appreciated as I had booked this apartment after getting scammed from another apartment. Tiny old elevator which is a bit musty but I thought it was cool and an elevator in Florence is almost unheard of! The room was already done up ready with the pull out bed available which I really appreciated staying with someone else. Kitchen fully equipped and worked very well. The open spaces made it feel so light and airy and massive windows looked out over the Tuscan hills (photo attached is taken from one of the windows). Loved it! Had some issues with the shower like not draining properly and the water only turning boiling hot or ice cold, but the host was super helpful in helping to fix things for us

- Chi (8/5): Very good - Bright, spacy and quite well-equipped apartment, about 8-10min away from train station, 5-min from rental car agencies. Our overall impression from the stay is good. We understood from booking.com that the apartment had parking facility which turned out it was not. We had to find parking lot around the apartment.
About the room facilities, The sink in the bathroom got stuck all the time. The shower was weak.
- Stebnicki (7/5): Good -
- Colin (9/5): Great apartment in great location - Nice apartment centrally located just along from Ponte Vecchio. Quiet and private. City parking expensive (not the accomodation's fault)
- Carole (8/5): Great stay and would book again. - This is a great little property in a perfect location. Walking distance from the main railway station, lots of restaurants and a number of small grocery stores nearby. Plenty of room for two people, a comfortable bed and very handy to have a washing machine. Perhaps a few more small pans and utensils would be helpful but we managed with what was there.
- Maria (8/5): Very comfortable stay with lots of amenities! - Location was okay; fairly close to the train station and easily accessible to various attractions. Apartment building was along the river so it's a pretty walk. Unit was spacious. Would appreciate clearer instructions on how to collect the property keys!
- Larizza (8/5): Very good - It was spacious. The bathroom was great, especially the shower. Around the corner was an awesome bar that had great coffee and morning pastries. There was a grocery store close by. Was within walking distance of the Duomo. Didn't like that the apartment was hot because the air conditioning wasn't on. Would suggest leaving a paper with the directions on how to operate the A/C.
- Amy (7/5): Good -
- Carmen (10/5): Wonderful apartment that gives you the Florence Feel - Great check-in! She was so kind to us, very friendly meeting with the hostess. She explained perfectly how everything worked. I liked everything about this apartment, including the must have air-conditioning. It was perfect for a family of 4 (kids/young adults). It had everything you could possibly need. Great location! Everything we wanted to see was only about a 15/20 min walk away, Uffizi, Duomo, Santa Maria Novella, Sante Croce, Ponte Vecchio, La Republica, stores, shops, cafés, etc. And there were bus stops everywhere, like 100 meters away. We really got the Florence experience. Beautiful! The photo is the view at breakfast every morning. The elevator only because I don't do well in closed confined areas. Very small space. Apparently, very typical in Florence. It took time to get used to it, but in the end it was totally fine. I used it all the time.
