- Lorretta (6/5): - Despite the listing having the four bedrooms and four bathrooms, (most important) the apartment fell far short of our expectations. I would rate this property two stars at best. The kitchen was practically unusable. The apartment seemed to have been renovated with the cheapest materials, particularly in the kitchen. A young man, a representative of the owner, tied to explain the amenities but seemed clueless about operating the TV and standalone air conditioners in the bedrooms. He incorrectly informed us that the washer and dryer units were combination appliances when they were not. The coffee maker lacked a pot, and despite attempts to provide a Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine, we couldn't get it to function properly, resorting to using a small pan in the old coffee maker. We were only given one set of keys for seven people and struggled to obtain a second set after multiple requests. Then the new key fob for the outside door never worked. Taking showers was a messy affair due to water leakage, shower spray and the faucet in the bidet (if it was one) also leaked. The lack of an informational binder about nearby amenities like restaurants or grocery stores, added to our frustration. The apartment did not justify its cost. While we understand we could have reached out to the owner or their representatives, the limited contact we did have was slow and unhelpful. We did not intend to spend our holiday troubleshooting issues that should never have existed in the first place.
