- Wiki John (5/5): - Quaint cottage with definite misconceptions We travel a lot domestically and internationally so these are our constructive pointers
Hard to find the property even with a Sat Nav, dangerous access to and from off busy main road
We felt we were short changed - as we were not aware that the attic bedroom has a disadvantage height restriction especially if you are 6’2 and 5’9. However if you were 5’ tall you would possibly be ok. We had to crawl on our hands & knees to get in and out of the bed. And at 80 years old this isn’t a very good option especially with bad knees!!!
This fact wasn’t mentioned in the listing and we definitely felt we would not have bothered to book this property otherwise
Would advise leaving manuals handy on how to work the cooker, coffee maker & jug too as this was a disadvantage
- Jane (9/5): Superb - Lovely and cosey. Lots of nice touches.
Peaceful
Comfortable bed Bedroom area roof very low,had to brnd down to walk in and carefully out of bed but saying that once in I had a lovely sleep.
Getting out of property onto main road, hard to see out of the drive, maybe a mirror on the road opposite would make it easier

- Stephen (6/5): Pleasant - Key exchanges and communication. We were staying in that location for a purpose and we had a dog with us, so it was suitable for that. The kitchen was generally well equipped. It was a little tricky to find on what can be a very busy road. The place itself could do with a little sprucing up and there were the odd things we would have expected; oven glove, more than one wine glass . The bedroom space is very limited, but once into it the bed was comfy.
- Jason (10/5): We really enjoyed staying here it was a great place to explore the Weald from and had a really cosy feel. - A cosy converted barn very well planned out. The kitchen is great and there is a comfortable living area. The bedroom is in the loft with a really comfortable bed. The property itself was fantastic the access on to the road takes a bit of getting used to but is actually fine once you do.
- Kerry (8/5): Cute little barn great for a short stay visiting the Vineyards xx - Absolutely loved the ease of the place and the keys. It was a very specific reason for going and it served to w purpose - Nice hosts who were incredibly helpful to help us throughout our stay. Didn’t like seems harsh but obviously the bedroom being on the mezzanine floor means it was very low and my husband being 6ft 2 found it pretty difficult to get into bed - although for comedy value it was funny - just something to be aware of - but not a huge problem for a short stay xx
- Sonja (8/5): Perfect stay for sightseeing - Quiet location not too far from next town. Close to the sights we wanted to visit. Plenty of parking, lovely hosts a bit tricky to find, needs a sign or identification near the drive way
- Ruchi (10/5): Beautiful venue - Amazing decor 😍 N/a
- Nichola (7/5): Nice and comfortable for a couple of nights - The property was nice and compact with everything you would need. We used all the facilities in the kitchen to cook meals and it was a nice and relaxing comfortable atmosphere in the evening.
We were left to it by the owners and could come and go as we pleased which we liked. Although the location was close to lots of amenities it was really hard to get out on the main road to leave the property.
We couldn’t get the internet to work.
We weren’t a fan of not being able to flush anything down the toilet and the property could have done with a bit of sprucing up.
- Henk (9/5): Nice and spacious place for a few days - Nice location to explore the surrounding. Well equipped kitchen and nice outside patio to sit. If you are not used to drive on the left it is difficult to leave the site due to poor sight. Bed and shower are ok but bit small if you are over 1,90 meters.
