Petit-déjeuner inclus et les gâteaux (différents chaque jour) sont délicieux. A améliorer : pas de double-vitrage donc un peu bruyant la nuit mais c'est le cas partout dans le centre historique... La salle de bains pourrait être un peu rénovée (mais il y avait de l'eau chaude et de la pression à la douche, donc rien à dire de ce côté).

However, upon arrival, we were shown a bathroom located in the corridor. The host insisted that it was a private bathroom and that no one else would use it except us. So please be aware that the bathroom is in the corridor.

Consigliato e sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Manca uno specchio lungo in camera per potersi specchiare completamente. Unica pecca bagno non in camera, ma adiacente alla camera e comunque rimane privato.

• Pascal (5/5): Centraal gelegen verblijf, fijne locatie, maar met wat minpunten zoals lawaai, kleine badkamer - Wat me het meest beviel aan Napoli Retro was de fantastische ligging. Het verblijf ligt echt midden in het centrum, waardoor je overal heel snel bent: bezienswaardigheden, restaurants, openbaar vervoer… alles ligt op wandelafstand. Ideaal om de stad volop te beleven zonder gedoe met verplaatsingen. Het enige echte minpunt was het mini-raam, waardoor er weinig natuurlijk licht binnenkwam. Daarnaast was er ’s ochtends behoorlijk wat geluidsoverlast: de kerkbel luidde al om 7 uur, en vanaf hetzelfde moment begonnen arbeiders te kloppen en te boren. Ook de kleine gemeenschappelijke badkamer was niet ideaal — als grotere persoon kon je er amper comfortabel bewegen. Tot slot waren er, verrassend genoeg voor november, heel veel muggen, wat het slapen soms extra lastig maakte.

Non so se non l’ho letto io o non era specificato ma si tratta di una abitazione con delle camere affittate ed il bagno pur essendo privato è fuori dalla stanza. Inoltre l’ascensore è a pagamento quando si arriva, poi loro offrono una chiavetta per metterlo in funzione. Andrebbero specificate queste cose

En pleno centro, al lado de la catedral. Habitación limpísima. El baño fuera de la habitación pero privado, con nuestra llave. Los anfitriones muy amables, nuestro vuelo se retrasó dos horas y nos esperaron hasta la 1.30 de la madrugada. Gracias, Nada

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo per una breve fuga a Napoli. Staff molto gentile. Tutto perfetto, unica cosa non avevamo capito che il bagno fosse esterno alla camera (anche se privato, quindi non abbiamo comunque avuto nessun disturbo o problema al riguardo, ma è solo una piccola precisazione).

Sabato sera fino all'una di notte c'era il bambino che faceva confusione e c'era odore di cucinato. L'indomani abbiamo chiesto di lasciare i nostri 2 zaini lì e per questo servizio ci ha chiesto 1€ l'ora a zaino, quando da tutte le altre parti costava 4/5€ al giorno.

• mona (7/5): Fint til prisen og søde værter - Søde og uhøjtidelige værter. Booking oplyser ofte, at det er et hotel, selvom der er tale om en privat pension. Men immervæk værterne var søde. Og det var en lejlighed 1/2 etage over værtsparret. Der var gjort ekstra ud af det med små sæber og et par engangsbadetøfler, så man følte sig prioriteret som gæst. Det var dejligt. Det er sådan set ikke retro, bygningerne i det kvarter er flere tusind år gamle, og det er charmerende at komme indenfor og se. Værelset var fint. En lille detalje med elevatoren: Man skal putte 50 cent i en automat i elevatoren for at få den til at bevæge sig op eller ned. Jeg var lidt for hurtig, for man behøver ikke putte penge i. Ved ankomst skal man lige vente på at værten kommer ned og så får man en elektronisk dims som gæst. Det var bare lidt sjovt, sådan en elevator har jeg aldrig oplevet før. :)
• slothmotion (6/5): Good location, unique stay - Genny was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was huge and had lots of character. The location is great as it is walking distance from the centre (and Garibaldi station but don't go there unless you absolutely have to - we had to for the train to Pompeii!). Being able to walk to most places was really handy because the public transport in Napoli is very hit and miss. When searching for properties I specifically filtered for places that offer free luggage storage because our flight on check-out day was in the evening. The man (owner) tried to charge us per bag per hour and tried to tell us that luggage storage isn't included for free - it definitely was when I booked it, I used specific filters. To avoid an argument we said no thank you and took our bags to be stored at Patrizia luggage storage 1 min from the property who did it for just 5 euros/bag per day. We felt like the man owner wanted to take advantage of us. Like previously mentioned, Genny was extremely nice and accommodating though. Another note is that you can hear absolutely everything as the building is very old but that cannot be helped. The location could be better signposted - we only knew where to go thanks to other reviewers here.

• Ruffo (3/5): Nada recomendable - Ubicación en el centro histórico y piso cuatro con ascensor y que habían chanclas desechables. Tuvimos un retraso de 2 horas en el vuelo, inicialmente llegábamos 9:30pm, pero finalmente resultamos llegando 00:00 al aeropuerto, les informamos esto con tiempo y simplemente dijeron que lo sentían pero que el límite de ingreso era 00:00 que no podían hacer nada. Nos tocó buscar otro hospedaje a última hora y pagar más caro por ser la misma noche. Al día siguiente nos dimos cuenta que ellos vivían allí, es decir, que no tenían que desplazarse para que pudiéramos ingresar. No les importó la información dada y que tuviéramos que buscar otro lugar. El edificio es antiguo y viejo, la cama y almohadas duras. Habían dejado dos batas (percudidas)en vez de toallas y cuando las fuimos a usar, había una manchada, lo que daba tranquilidad para usar. El sifón de la ducha estaba tapada. Los host poco trato, mal servicio y mal vestidos.
