• Linda (10/5): Relaxing stay at Pier Lookout. - The apartment is lovely and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and a really comfortable bed. The location is great for beach and town centre.

The property manager Nigel was very helpful and never hesitated to respond Only downside were the stairs. Would’ve been splendid if there were elevators as the flat is the last floor up
• Cally (9/5): Lovely break by the Sea, everything we wanted it to be - The apartment is lovely, the view and location is perfect, overlooking the sea and the pier with only a short walk to decent pubs and food places. Warm and cosy with everything you need for a few days away Feedback for owner, the DVD player doesn't work, not a major thing but would have been nice on a rainy afternoon to watch one of the great choices of DVD's We didn't realise how many stairs we would have to climb, not a problem for us but could come as a shock to anyone with mobility issues
• Sarah (9/5): Fab weekend in the sun staying in a flat in a perfect location. - Brilliant location, superb views, spacious & modern. The shower wasn’t particularly effective and doesn’t drain away whilst showering. Plus when you was your hands in the bathroom sink, it bubbles up in the shower plug hole. Also, the bed is a bit small for 2 adults.
• David (9/5): A well equipped apartment with superb views. - A very well equipped apartment with superb views over the pier and surrounding beaches. Close to the town centre and a short walk to a good selection of local restaurants. Parking permits kindly arranged by the owner, but on a busy weekend, finding a parking space was still a challenge. The only serious drawback is the lack of a lift. It is necessary to climb five flights of stairs to access the apartment from street level, a major challenge with heavy bags or for anyone with limited mobility.
• Jaime Paniagua (8/5): Beautiful room but have to climb many HUGE SETS of stairs to get to room. NO LIFT - Beautiful room and ammenities NO LIFT AT THIS LOCATION! Really hard to carry all our bags up many BIG FLIGHTS OF STAIRS, WE ARE OVER 65 yrs. old, and this issue made it very hard to go in and out of the room, to go to the beach, dinner, shopping. Won't stay here again, because of this issue.

• Julie (8/5): Nice apt, good location, would recommend - Loved the location but we found it tricky to park. The apt was well equipped, comfy bedding and very clean. Felt disappointed that for £277 we weren’t provided with clean new washing up cloth and sponge, would have thought this was basic service.

They were ok for us but 5 flights of stairs could be an issue for some guests.

• Jc (10/5): Best place to stay in Eastbourne! - First thing was location. It's walking distance to the beach, shops and the town centre! I liked how everything was available even books, dvds and board games. I really enjoyed my stay! I will definitely recommend and stay here again! N/A

Lovely and quiet as high up and well equipped. Top floor which wasn’t a problem at all for me but would have been had my partner made it.

• Maria (9/5): Cosy, comfortable stay in Eastbourne - Great location, cosy bed and lovely relaxing space to unwind. We were a little disappointed to see the cooking pots really quite dirty. There was also some smelly food left in the fridge from the previous guests which wasn’t pleasant.

• Sally (10/5): Pier Lookout is an exceptionally well presented holiday apartment. I wish I’d booked a longer stay! - Lovely designed apartment with quality furniture creating a real home from home. The view was exceptional and I enjoyed spending time watching the sea and the people walking up and down the promenade. There was nothing to not like.

Well appointed. Modern. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Fabulous views of the Pier and Beach. Could not ask for a better location. Everything you need in a self service rental was there. 100% recommend. Should we return to Eastbourne, this would be our 1st choice. Thank you Nothing at all!!

• Kenneth (8/5): Very good - Lovely, spacious, and comfortable apartment in a great location with a beautiful view. The wifi was very slow. Shows often paused to buffer when I watched the television, and I couldn't use the wifi to make video calls.
• Bill (9/5): Rejuvenating Eastbourne appartment. - Beautiful apartment situated opposite Eastbourne Pier. Kitchen facility great for making breakfasts and dinners. We had a snack out for Lunches. Bathroom facility clean and practical. Lounge relaxing. A lovely shower. Overall, Clean, tidy and cosy. Double bed size. Perhaps because we are used to a super king at home. A top floor apartment so beware if unable to climb stairs.

Bathroom shower and facilities Excellent. Wardrobe good with coat hangers and drawers. Bed was small, but comfortable. Close to local amenities. 13x bus provides great tour to Exceat. All in all highly recommended. Small bed.

• Brendan (9/5): Fab apartment - Spotlessly clean and the furnishing and decor in good order. Everything you need for a short break. Loved the view to the pier. As the advice goes never feed the seagulls even if they come tapping at the window! Just suggestions really:- Could do with ceiling fans as it got hot being on the top floor and the weather being warm. Needs a shelf in the bathroom over the sink. Broadband speed was poor, but I'm not there to be on the internet but some might find it necessary.
• Mary (10/5): Unique Apartment - A unique, cute apartment with all the required essentials for a great stay in beautiful Eastbourne. Lovely furnishings. Didn't realise there were so many stairs and such a narrow staircase. Takes a bit of manoeuvring with luggage. But it would not put me off staying again.
• Jonathan (10/5): Fabulous stay at this beautiful property. - Location of this property is probably the best in Eastbourne. Car parking permits were sorted by the owner over the phone and there were plenty of spaces around the property to use. Facilities inside the property were of high spec. Comfort etc was exceptional. I have to comment on the stairs. 6 flights in all and a total of around 70 steps. Anyone who has a problem with access should think twice.

• Fay (9/5): pleasant , clean, good location - amazing clean flat , location is very good , very good communication with the manager Nigel, instructions are easy to get the keys, the only problem was the stairs as the flat in 3rd floor , if you are not fit or older then you might struggle .. but it’s good to exercise after fish and chips ! will visit again ! the flat was on 3rd floor it did not say on booking .com but it worth the view !
