Guest Reviews
- Graham (4/5): Shirt - The location Noise from inside the building
- Akinoluyemi (10/5): - The environment is quiet. The room is clean and well suited. The bed was changed to a better one compared to what we met there when we used the place last year. I will book Comfy Studio again and again. Nothing actually.

- Laura (7/5): Buona soluzione - Il monolocale è confortevole, buono il letto e i cuscini. Bagno piccolo ma funzionale. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

- B Clifton (9/5): Great cosy room near the O2 Brixton Academy - Clean and comfortable room with all the facilities you could need.
Near the O2 Brixton Academy which I was attending thar night. Don't really have any negative feedback apart from the front door being unlocked upon arrival.

- Weronika (10/5): Super -
- Valentina (7/5): Ok for one night after a concert - It’s a great position for O2 academy, an ok place to spend the night after the concert. Instructions to access the building were clear and easy. The building is dated, the room was cold and we found a few hair on the sheets. Uncomfortable bed and pillow.
- Marilia (8/5): Good. I would stay here again - Clean and comfortable, exactly what you’d expect. It’s not that close to the Underground (although it’s perfectly walkable, about 15–20 minutes).
- David (8/5): It really was comfy. - The location was perfect, 10 minute walk to the O2 Academy Brixton. It had its own bathroom and shower which was great and the bed was Comfy. Nothing really at all.
- Andrew (8/5): Comfy, and ideal place to stay for a concert at O2 Brixton - Bed was really comfy, slept well Extractor fan was a bit loud through the night
- Edwards (10/5): Clean room. Kitchen supplies. Good comms. Easy access. - Loved the kitchen facilities and closeness to tube and shops. Good communication from host about door codes and wifi. A couple of little milk tubs in the fridge would have been nice - but not a problem.
- Toni (8/5): Great for a night after a gig - Great little place Bit noisy at night but not a fault of the property

- Amelia (7/5): Good location for O2 Brixton, enjoyed it - - cosy and has everything you need
- lots of tea and coffee - mould in the bathroom

- Sven (7/5): - Guter Preis, relativ gute Anbindung WLAN hat im Zimmer nicht funktioniert. Rückfrage bzgl. WLAN blieb unbeantwortet.
- Elliot (8/5): - Very clean, had everything i needed, if a little cheap and and dated decor. But great value. Entry to the building was a bit of a faff with the three different pads.
- Alice (8/5): - alloggio molto funzionale e completo di ogni servizio. molto apprezzati i servizi a disposizione e la gentilezza del proprietario zona leggermente fuori dal centro ma ben collegata

- Agnaldo (8/5): Boa - A localização Os moveis
- Kyra (5/5): Not bad - Location was nice and close to the venue
The host was very courteous
Lots of tea facilities and amenities Unfortunately the people staying in the room next door was playing music at 2am and we couldn't sleep.
The room was damp
- jakubczyk (9/5): -
- Ivor (8/5): - The room was Studio flat with all the required facilities. The entrance process was unclear and needed two phone calls to access the room.
A TV would be a nice extra but was not needed for this trip.
- AYUTO (8/5): -
- Higton (6/5): OK for the price. - Decent price, had been well cleaned. The bed fell in when I sat on it, so I had to rebuild it. Someone should ensure the slats in the bed frame fit correctly.
- Andzelika (8/5): -
- lina (7/5): convenient - nice cozy room sound insulation is very poor. be ready to hear the neighbours as if they walk next to your bed. however the neighbours are very respectful.
still.
i had hard time to sleep
- Angele (9/5): -
- Noel (6/5): Great location terrible bed - Location fantastic for O2 Brixton and in a quiet area. All the facilities were great including WiFi, bathroom and kitchen with complimentary toiletries.
Initially confusing arriving but host messaged with details on how to access all the doors. The bed! I looked at it and the slats detached. Considering a lot of the previous reviews mention this issue you’d think it’d be resolved but having 3/4 of a bed unusable you may as well not stay there. So uncomfortable. Unfortunate considering the rest of the property and features are really good.
- Anna (9/5): - That is very nice, cosy and tidy place. Also location is great, just 50 minutes walk from Tower Bridge. The wall between apartments is so thin, we could heard every single words from our neighbours and unfortunately they were quite noisy.
- Anna (10/5): -
- Steph (8/5): Would return if going back to 02 academy - Hosts were fantastic, room was perfect everything you needed better than expected Not the hosts fault as not in there control but others need to be aware. around 2am and 4am there was dreadful screams in the street from fights happening and police flying by quite often.
- Soo-Mei (9/5): - The room was cute and met all our needs for a night away.
- Meredith (8/5): - Location was excellent. Was nice to have a place that was homelike. Would stay here again The bed frame kept collapsing. As an international traveller, use of appliances was unfamiliar and would have appreciated clearer instructions. Finding things like the washing machine was extremely unclear.
- Jan Gregory (8/5): - The mattress was sloping on the outside which made it hard to sleep. Other than really noisy people in the building it was lovely. Everything you needed was supplied. Very clean and tidy
- Imogen (10/5): - Location was perfect! Very close to the O2 Academy and the tube station making it easy to travel.
Brilliant price for all of the facilities.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful!
- L (7/5): Good stay :) - Stayed here for a concert at the o2 academy and it was a very convenient walk there. For the price I think it is good value as it has everything you need. I couldn't figure out how to get the oven to work. I'm not sure if it was a fault on my part or if the oven just didn't work. I messaged the owner about it but they didn't get back to me.
- Rosa (10/5): Great value for money - Helpful staff, easy to get in, good pricing & facilities -
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Mitchigan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Omran (10/5): Good place - Clean and good location as we was so close to the venue.
- Morris (8/5): Good location, clean room and good facilities. - Location great. Too hot, please include a fan!
- Michael (7/5): Good - Well equipped studio apartment within walking distance to Brixton Academy, bars and restaurants.
- Akinoluyemi (10/5): Comfy Studio, what a lovely place to stay. - It is a wonderful place and very secure. The comfortability is very standard and quiet environment. They sincerely made all we requested available for us and makes us comfortable and felt at home. We would love to stay there again when next we are visiting london, specifically that area. It was lovely altogether. We only had issues with the bed. The wood under (once in a while) gets removed, and we always had to readjust it ourselves. If that can be fixed, it would be very nice.
- Matthew (9/5): Great location for Brixton o2 - The room had everything we required and was in an excellent location for the o2 Academy . Was also surprisingly quiet Was only given a building entry code had to contact on arrival host for actual room number and code , would have been nice to be told all this information before we arrived . Mould in the bathroom which didn’t look nice , maybe put a coat of mould/ damp proof paint over and then paint over with regular paint also open windows and air the room this would help as well
- Nicola (8/5): We'd stay here for Brixton Academy again - comfy and quiet stay. - We booked this as purely somewhere to lay our head overnight as we were attending a gig at Brixton Academy. Really close. Room was basic but had all we needed and we knew this when booking. Slept soundly. The bed slats are not affixed to the frame therefore my husband had a shocker when the mattress fell through. No biggie - just check the slats before getting into bed.
- Nick (9/5): Very nice overall well equiped studio flat clean and tidy thanks for a nice stay - A nice size room Some mould on walls in bathroom
Some decoration issues
The slats under bed came off twice and i only sat on the bed which caused it to collapse
- Chris (4/5): Disappointing - It was close to the o2 academy
If you like cheap and cheerful this is perfect Room was very dated, some parts falling apart or held up with tape. Trying to find our room was a struggle as there are multiple doors, and multiple floors with no direction on where to go within.
The mattress was bowed so it felt like I was rolling towards the edge of the bed.
WiFi kept going on and off.
I wouldn't stay there again.
Our room was lay out as the same as the pictures, but didn't look the same. The owner must have multiple replica rooms, and we were fortunate enough to get one of the lesser rooms.
- Jo (8/5): Very good - Great location for Brixton Academy., 10 minute walk away. One bed flat, with an ensuite shower and kitchenette included. The main door entry code panel was high and hard to reach if you're small like me
- Jonathan (8/5): Great place to stay if visiting the area. - Good location. Small studio but with everything you need, and they had made an effort to make it welcoming. Locks were a bit fiddly
- David (8/5): A very pleasant stay and a property I would happily use again and recommend to others. - Lovely, clean apartment with good facilities and in a superb location for a trip to Brixton Academy and trips into city centre. Quality of bedding/pillows and more towels could be provided.
- Apryl (8/5): Very good - Nice tidy studio in a nice area, had some confusion with all the codes to get into the room but staff were lovely and drove down to us to let us in. Great communication and really nice setup. Bed slats kept popping off (not broken just not drilled into place) and window was very hard to open but still enjoyed the stay :)
- Evelyn (7/5): Good - “We stayed here for one night and found the property easy to locate and access. The interior was very clean, and the complimentary tea bags were a thoughtful touch. While it wasn’t exceptional, it offered good value for money and provided a comfortable place to rest for the night.”
- Mitchigan (7/5): Good -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Nice layout, good facilities in the apartment, perfect location for o2 Academy which is only few minutes away, very reasonable price, hosts easy to get in contact with if needed.
- James (9/5): Superb - Great location in the heart of Brixton. Ideal if you are attending a gig in the Brixton Academy. Room was very clean with teas and coffees provided. Ideal for an overnight stay.
- Amy (9/5): Excellent value for the location. - Excellent location and value for money. Easy code entry and better equipped than expected given the size.
Very clean. Bedding was soft and extra blanket in the cupboard that we thought we might need on a very cold night, but actually the property was very warm and comfortable.
Various tea and sugars provided and decaf coffee. No milk or perishables. We stayed after a concert so were more than happy, but walls are thin so if you are expecting a peaceful/quiet stay you might be disappointed.
- Arismendy (8/5): Very good -
- Cristian (8/5): Good place and good price for a short stay. Nice walk to Brixton tube. - Owners sent information in advance and were available for phone support when needed. Only one main light, no small lights around the bed area (or I haven't discovered them :))
- Inés (9/5): Superb -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Dupre (8/5): Very good -
- Missblasian (8/5): It was comfy but would of been better with tv - It was warm when we entered , showers nice There was no tv
- Maria (10/5): A comfortable quiet spot in Brixton - Nicely located for the Brixton Academy and other areas of interest and close to nice food, coffee and restaurants and bars. Nothing. For the money it is good value.
- Damaris (5/5): Value for money - I liked where is was for me getting too where I needed Judt that I was in Private rented studios and a lot of the other tenants we’re not happy with finding out that it was on booking.com and they were gonna contact there Landlord about this , as of the coming and going from the studio they had too put up with , and I explained that I had gone through your site and made the booking I didn’t know, also there was a lot of noise from other studios above me that’s kept me awake into the early hours. So wasn’t the best sleep
- Eugene (7/5): Good -
- Ella (10/5): Amazing! - Great location. Tube station about 10 mins walk away. Came as a solo female traveller, and the property has multiple codes needed to gain access to the room which put my mind at ease. Clean, tidy and room provides kettle, microwave, iron, fridge. Teabags etc. provided. Brilliant room. Staff lovely. No TV - but wasn’t an issue really as I just used my phone.
- Robbyn (10/5): Very friendly very cooperative and helpful! Will definitely stay again - Very conveniently located close to o2 academy
Very clean and had everything you would need !
- Trevor (5/5): Passable - I got in eventually The bed
- Rita (9/5): Nice apartment, well-equipped and clean! - Very well equipped, clean apartment in a qiuet neighbourhood. I sent a message via Booking that we would like to arrive at around 1 pm and it was confirmed. When we got to the apartment surprisingly we couldn’t get in and couldn’t reach anyone….
We left thinking that we might have had lost our money :-(
Later in the afternoon we suddenly got a message with the code and very specific info. I understood that there was no such thing as an early check-in but - because of the confirmation it didn’t occur to me. Otherwise we had a nice stay.
- Aqeel (8/5): Very good -
- Helena (8/5): Very good -
- Ross (2/5): I would not recommend unless extremely desperate, like I was - Sorry, this isn’t really somewhere you could say many positives about, apart from price It was pretty awful.
- Jonathan (5/5): Passable -
- Rosalind (9/5): More than worth your money - Really clean and modern. Had fresh towels and good bedding. Everything I needed. You can see the owner puts effort in. Shower was good and warm. Access was easy. This is not like other bookings, for the price point it was more than enough For the price point I can't complain. There was no milk but that could have been an oversight and I should have asked so it is not a complaint, there was so much to offer though. This place really is cosy and classy.
- Richard (8/5): For a short overnight stay this place is perfect. I checked in about 16.00 and was out again by 10.00 the next day. I ju - Very good location, very comfortable bed, good shower and a working toilet. What more do you need? Kitchen facilities were all provided though I didn’t use or need them other than the kettle. What wasn’t advertised yet provided are iron, hairdryer and bath towels. Free Wi-Fi also. Coffee, hot chocolate (milk and dark) and various flavoured tea bags are provided but not regular tea bags. No TV in the room but it is not advertised as having one so I just used my iPad.
- Luis (9/5): Comfy studio is lovely! We’ve had a comfortable stay. Will definitely book again. - The studio is very nice. Will definitely book again! 👍🏻👍🏻
- Evonne (9/5): Superb - Perfect for a quick stay in London. Handy for buses to everywhere. Really lovely staff
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Yemi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (2/5): Didn’t sleep. - Good location for gigs at Brixton academy. Shower and a bed. There seems to be a lady next door that is running some kind of food prep business. The walls are extremely thin so we were able to hear her having conversations on the phone/ to whoever she was staying with until gone 12 and we were then woken up by cooking noises from 5am. Pots and pans banging continuously and chopping. Tap turning on and off and kettle being boiled over and over again. Not for an hour or so, but from 5 until around 10am. During the hours of 9-10 the front door was banging as they seemed to be transporting whatever had been prepared to a car or something outside. We stayed two nights and this happened both mornings. So much so that we left the apartment at 8am on the final morning. The blind is also not adequate for the size of the window and there is no tv, which wouldn’t have been an issue but there was nothing to drown out the noises from next door.
- Amnon (5/5): Wouldn't recommend, mainly due to the uncomfortable bed and smelly room. - The kitchen facilities were good and useful, and included everything I needed, such as dishsoap and paper towels. The shower was clean, and good soap and towels were provided.
The location was very good for my specific needs. The bed was quite uncomfortable, and didn't look very clean.
There was a heavy and unpleasant smell, felt like smoke covered up by airfreshener.
It was very difficult to open the window to air the room out a little.
The train station next to the place has no lift, which created a problem with the luggage.
- Davis (7/5): Good - Good customer service, the room was clean and nice The large rubbish bins at the front of property were overflowing...
The bed was rather low, and against the wall, I had to shimmy my way out to go to the toilet during the night, and there was a shelf directly above..
- Louise (9/5): Superb - Good location clean and tidy Bit of a faff with the door codes but sorted in the end
- Janos (1/5): Bad - If you are a business and trying to get an invoice, you will have a hard time. Back and forth, back and forth with the messages. Even Booking. com couldn't have a conversation with them, as apparently they don't speak English. The radiator is behind your head, and very noisy. The hallway leading to the room smells awful. Therefore, I would not recommend this property. Communication, noisy radiator, bad customer experience.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Meg (10/5): Perfect spot for a south London trip, had a great stay, highly recommend! - Great location, easy to access, comfy bed and decent shower!
- Tereza (10/5): Beautiful small place with everything you need. - The studio has everything a traveler might need. It was very lovely place, very clean and well equipped. I really enjoyed staying there and would definitely come back again. It is not very close to the tube. It is fine for daily walk with backpack, but it is quite a journey with a big luggage. :D But it was worth it.
