Would also have liked more info on operating appliances as did not want to risk damaging an appliance by just guessing.

• Amy (10/5): Great alternative to the local hotels - Cute cottage away from the main road, as trucks often pass through the town. The property was clean & comfortable, and in my opinion is a good option compared to some of the hotels in town that I have previously stayed in whilst visiting. Hosts were lovely & had great communication, I would gladly chose to stay here again if visiting. Pillows were high profile, and there were no spares. Would recommend for the host to also supply a set of medium profile pillows.

• Catherine (10/5): An Excellent Place to Stay in Blackall. - The cottage has original features but also everything for a very comfortable stay. Great off street parking, very good laundry facilities, and cosy and warm during the cold weather. Very clean and tidy. The host was quick to respond and a great help. I thoroughly recommend it for a stay in lovely Blackall.
