Anayo (1/5): I would recommend the location but not this apartment. - The location The apartment was very hot with no air con. The fans provided did not work at the sheets and pillows in rooms were dirty with dirty mops and sheets just left in one of the bedroom wardrobes. Also the bedroom doors were cracked and also the side table near the sofa with chips all on the paint. Compared to the other apartments my friends had this was the lowest quality by far!!!.
Mbali (3/5): Worst host experience day before XMAS - I will definitely be staying in other units again in Masingita as this was not my first stay there , but I will be sure to never book with CGRSA hosts again. They put us in a filthy unit much lower than what we had paid for. We booked and paid for the balcony unit however the host called less than 24hrs rudely requesting us to cancel the booking as the unit we paid for was not available. Bearing in mind that flights and payments were already prearranged, we were not in a position to pay for another property let alone find an available accommodation in less than 24hours on Christmas Eve. The host Balalwa/ Miranda was extremely rude and blatantly said we should not be a pain in her ass she did not need our money.

Sekgororoane (7/5): A comfortable and value for money stay in the heart of Sandton - The location of this property is in close proximity to a lot of attractions in Johannesburg. Safe a secure area which is ideal and brings peace of mind. The check in process is seamless and the host is always available to take calls and asks promptly with any query. The rooms are clean spacious and well maintained. There's a lovely restaurant on the first floor of the building named Bowl'd that serves a lovely breakfast too. The property should look to provide an ironing board and universal adapters in each room to allow us to charge devices and electronics. All sockets are round and don't cater to most traveling visitors.

Sonet (2/5): Filthy, broken and uncomfortable. - The restaurant was pretty, but you have to scan to see the menu so if you're trying to go "phoneless", don't bother going to the restaurant. The view over the city was quite nice. I got a call on the day saying the penthouse isn't available and was given 2 apartments instead. We booked for a bachelorette, so this was not ideal, we were 5 girls. Upon checking in at 14:00, the rooms were not ready, so our setup was delayed. Everything was dirty, broken and falling apart. The dishwasher was filled with old dirty dishes that we had to end up washing ourselves. The bedding was sopping wet that was on the bed. The key was broken off of the card, so had to keep it extra safe. They try to make up for it by having smeg appliances, but they should've spent that money on proper cleaning services and maintaining the place. The receptionist was no help at all. I was so embarrassed to take my future sister in law to such a horrendous place. Never again.

The Bowl’d restaurant which is located on the ground floor was superb. There’s even a hookah lounge The stay was extremely disappointing. We were falsely told there was no load shedding, but we experienced power outages, and the hosts never explained how to use the backup generator. The host was completely unresponsive to multiple messages regarding this and other major issues, including a broken bedroom door that could lock someone inside and a damaged couch. Despite contacting them from day one, we never received any help. The lack of customer service made this an incredibly frustrating experience.

Babhekile (4/5): No aircon, dirty sheets, its a noisy place, if u open windows the whole room will be smelling dagga - It has a nice bathroom but problem is that the bathroom doesn’t have a door We had to wait almost an hour to checking yet we booked days earlier and when we got there they said our pin is invalid

Seaya (3/5): Rent from the actual hotel. - Giving this place a 3 star rating only because the guy refunded me for their horrible service. Very disappointed as they put me in a very tiny room that I didn’t book and inconvenienced me completely. Horrible stay. A lot of people in this complex own apartments but they will try to put you in a room that doesn’t match the pictures I was very disappointed took me 3 hours to find another place. Advice go to lobby and rent from them instead they have rooms there for rent they are more expensive but more professional.

Reception staff also had difficulty contacting host. Arrived at 3pm and the apartment was not ready. Standard apartment advertised as penthouse. No house keeping provided for the 7 days. Again tried calling the host to arrange cleaning with no success

The cleaning schedule, once cleaning was bad, our bin was overflowing because no-one to empty it. We had no waster papers to clean the cooker. But the kitchen was well stocked

Roanne (2/5): Deceiving - Having a place to stay No welcome email with info on place and wifi code. The place was diiiirty, dust and dirt - very clearly not thoroughly cleaned. The place was extremely basic, the tv has accounts but no account to sign into. An electric went out and it wasn’t looked out for some hours which impacted my ability to work since the wifi didn’t work. If this place was marketed as a basic and standard stay (outside of cleaniliness) it’d be ok. But i actually had a very awful and uncomfortable stay for an amount of money that isn’t fair. Also receiving one key seems ridiculous when you need a fob to exit the hallway

Rhyme (5/5): Could be better if cleaning can be monitored and airconditioning can be installed. - Modern facilities and spacious Fridge not working, and the apartment was not clean. Dirty towels and dusty appliances. No discomfiting
Simonne (7/5): Needs attention - The beds were very comfortable. The place is lovely. Great bathrooms. Nicely decorated. Really nice touches like a blender, roller towel etc The staff that check you in are very friendly. Parking is safe. The linen on the bed was badly torn and frayed. The towels were extremely hard and no longer white. Someone came the next day with new towels but nothing was done about the linen. The batteries in the tv remote looked chewed. We switched the tv on and then could not get to change the channel, lower volume or even switch the tv off. We had to remove the tv from the wall to unplug it. They couldn't send someone in the evening, only the next day. By 3pm the next day nobody had been, and then they only wanted to bring new batteries. We had been unable to place the tv back on the brackets as the screws were all loose and had requested that they send someone with tools. The couch is done and needs to be replaced or reupholstered.

Lucas (4/5): One of my more unpleasant experiences. Will not book with this host again. - Nice looking apartment and great view. 1. Dirty pillows 2. No complete cutlery sets (no teaspoons) 3. No cups or mugs for coffee or tea 4. No 2-point plugs for any of the bedside lamps or chargers for phones. 5. Confusing check-in… took 30-45 min to resolve 6. Host never responded after being notified of unhappiness 7. Confusing check-out, I was bounced between sec and apartment Managment company for 20 min. 8. Obvious and prominent escort workers in and out of the building, not stopped by security.
