Guest Reviews
- Hussain (10/5): A lovely apartment with brilliant location that made our stay easy and fun. - Four of us friends stayed here, we chose this apartment because we saw reviews that mentioned it was an amazing location, and we wanted to stay somewhere that had easy accessibility to Vienna city centre. This apartment did not disappoint! The location was amazing. We had the U train station about a two minute walk away which was a quick 10 minute train ride into city centre and we had the Danube canal also only 2 minutes away. Some days we walk leave the apartment, walk along the canal and it’s one straight path into the city centre taking about 25 minute stroll which was lovely. The place was kept neat and clean for us, fresh towels provided, useful facilities such as washing machine, AC, hair dryer, kettle, coffee machine. The owners were kind enough to provide coffee beans, tea bags, hot chocolate powder and sugar. It’s much more cosier to choose an apartment when travelling with close friends and family, the communal area was very comfy, cushions and blankets laid out. We were grateful that our owners had left out pamphlets containing tourist attractions in Vienna, it was useful. The bathroom was nice and clean, the shower was easy to use. The owners were very kind and helpful. For free of charge they let us leave our luggage in the apartment during the day of our departure as our flight was an evening flight, they extended our checking out time for free and was very understanding. I would definitely recommend this apartment I can not fault it at all. The location is perfect, the apartment is spacious and clean and most of all the owners were kind and welcoming.
Jena z szyb w prysznicu groziła wypadnięciem z zawiasów i pokaleczeniem osób biorących prysznic.
- Dominic (6/5): Handy pied-à-terre to explore the city - It’s reasonably priced, a short distance, in the 9th District, from the centre. Basic but equipped for a short stay. The check in is well thought out and very flexible. Very compact space that is more suited to students perhaps than families in the particular apartment we got. This may be more down to how it’s listed on booking.com than any fault of the landlord as it’s difficult to see which apartment is offered.
- Lorenzo (4/5): - Position There was ants on the floor and in the kitchen
- Celia (2/5): So so disappointing and a terrible experience. - The location was brilliant. The host was responsive. The property was beyond disappointing. It was so small, far too small for 5 people with air conditioning in only two rooms, not 3, and the place was stiflingly hot even with the air con on. The beds were uncomfortable, the linen was very old and worn, and one single bed had a base that was far too small for the small single mattress. The air conditioning was not great. The floor was so dusty and dirty under the beds. The walls between rooms were paper thin and any noise in one room could be heard so clearly in the other rooms. The facilities were very basic. Really it was a terrible place to stay.
- Caleb (7/5): Good -
- Marios (9/5): Convenient, clean, well-equipped, reasonably priced flat in a safe, quiet & central location. - Excellent location: a very pleasant 15min walk to the centre, in a nice & quiet neighbourhood with mini markets and restaurants and a 2 min walk to the metro. Ideal for a family stay, kids were delighted with the beds and their own room. Well-equipped flat covering all everyday basics (fridge, microwave, extra papers & garbage bags, cleaning equipment). Convenient space: as we spent few hours in the apartment (mostly resting, getting ready and sleeping) the space was more than enough for us, with sufficient storage for all our clothes and luggage. Clean and comfortable bathroom with hot water all the time. I really recommend the apartment for families that want to have a cost-effective, fully satisfactory, spare-me-the-fancy-crap stay in Vienna. Last, but certainly not least, the friendly, helpful and to-the-point communication with the host, who was kind enough to let us use the apartment even after the check-out time. Thank you!
- Aleh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Suplito (1/5): Stay away. - The location was okay, 2km from city center and near a good club. It was quiet as well. I stayed in this flat for 12 days with my kids. I thought, I would be ok to bear with all the inconveniences
down from its old dusty bed, that made all our backs ache because it sank so deeply, old pillows that were so mangled, that we just used our clothes for our heads to lie on, broken fridge that would not even close, dirty bathroom and floor, that you would dare not walking barefooted, massive dust clumps under the bed. Even given all these, I remained calm and convinced myself to settle for what was there, just waiting for the 12th day to come and leave.
Yet what made me put everything in writing is the rudeness of the owner. Our flight on the 12th day was still late night, and we asked if we could extend our stay after 1030am till 7pm, bargaining for a discount for the extra charge. But this owner kicked us off after we asked him not to charge us too much for the lost key. He could have said that what we were asking for was not possible, yet he chose to be rude and unpleasant. To the owner, staying in your flat made our days in vienna horrible. You should be considerate enough not charging us much (50 Euros) for a simple lost key, since your flat was no good. Even granting that your price was fair (even if it was not), you could have told this to us politely instead of telling us to leave early and causing us a flight rebooking hassle.
Worse, youre too mean to be treating my kids that way. If theres a negative star in rating , I would rate you on that range.
Definitely won't recommend!! Stay away from this place.
- Bodamix (7/5): A very nice short stay in Wien to visit some friends next to the apartment, location was perfect - I liked the location and renovated independent flats We did not like the mattress of the beds, they were not comfortable even for a short stay.
Everything else was ok
- Razvan (8/5): Very good - Location The heating. Temperature never went over 19 Celsius.
- Gert (9/5): Central apartment 100 meters from subway station. - Very good and quiet two bedroom apartment 100 meters from subway station. Several restaurants, bakery and grocery shops nearby. Also walking distance to the center of Vienna. Got excellent instructions with photos how to find and enter the apartment using a key box.
- Valeriya (5/5): Passable -
- Dóra (2/5): I wouldn't go back. - The location was great. I also have to mention, that the manager was very helpful, responsive and getting into the apartment was totally uncomplicated. Well, we payed 832 EUR for 4 nights and for this money I expected something nice. Not 5stars, but nice. We travelled with 4 kids (mostly adolescents) and we came home exhausted. Couldn't sleep for the whole time. The appartment is literally on the street. The entrance to the living room/kitchen is a door on the building at the pedestrian level. The rooms were so hot, we couldnt breathe, I had to to open the windows, which were on the street, we could hear peaple talking next to our heads. Not to mention the cars. Lots of cars. The mattrasses were so soft, it was hard to get up in the morning, specially, because there was no room for getting up, just the bed, but that is an other question. The furniture, walls, floor, are old, used, clouded, run-down. Everithing was basically clean, if you didn't look closely, but what I noticed and definitely didn't like, was that the plates and mugs and cups were not clean, there were stains on them. Oh, and the toilett didn't have the top cover. There were no shades! At least there were not shades, that could make the room dark at night and bright during the day. Also: there was a broken readinglamp above the kids bed. And other thinks like this....Overall: next time we would rather stay at home, than going back.
