- AMBER (6/5): Cute apartment - not great owner interaction who claimed we caused damages - Pretty apartment right on a canal, walkable from the train station. There are TWO "Dream Suites", one called Dream and one called Sunset. The listing photos show photos for both units so what you see isn't exactly to what you get (we stayed in Sunset but the bathroom looked nothing like the pretty photos for Dream suite). This also caused confusion trying to follow the check in process. Most unsettling, is that when the first person from our group (we are 50 year old responsible women) used the toilet, one of the flat wall buttons you press to flush fell off. We couldn't figure out how to reattached, and thinking it was just a tricky fixture, thought nothing of it until two days after we had left the owner filed a complaint and damages claim with Booking.com and demanded we pay them 50€ for the broken button and "causing damages" to their property. I was beside myself and responded to both Booking and the owner who I had communicated with via WhatsApp. Despite telling her we didn't break the button and simply pressed it to flush, as you have to to use the toilet, the owner Rafaella insisted we pay her and told me it was "American" of me to think we didn't have to pay for something we broke. I cannot even. Normal wear and tear and pressing a button to flush a toilet isn't negligent nor is it "causing damages" to the property. I repeated I would not be paying. She also noted that outside Booking she normally takes a credit card and would have charged me [at her will apparently] for what she considered chargeable guest damages. So be mindful of this. The owner seemingly doesn't think things will wear out or break with normal daily use of a rental property and whoever is present when something breaks gets to buy her a new one. Which is a shame because side otherwise the apartment is cute and in a nice location with a lovely cafe below.

- pdurbali (10/5): - Venedike ulaşıp park yerlerine aracımızı bıraktıktan sonra Piazza le Roma dan yürüyerek kolaylıkla ve keyifle yerimize ulaştık. Kanal kıyısında olması ve hemen altında bulunan yeme içme mekanları iyi olanaklardı. Temiz ve konforluydu. Sahipleri çok ilgili ve yardımseverdi.

- Natalia (10/5): Spacious, comfortable and easily accessible, all one needs for a memorable stay - The size and the cleanliness of the room & bathroom, the size of the bed and the excellent mattress and pillows, the vicinity to a vaporetto stop (Guglie) that makes access to the airport and to the main sites very easy, the fast internet, the Bialetti coffee machine, the fridge that really keeps your drinks cold — everything was really fine, especially the ladies who were always available and very helpful. There was nothing we didn’t like :-)
