• Baschar (10/5): Top - Alles war wirklich super! Die Lage ist top, sehr nah an der Metro- und Bushaltestelle. Man kann sogar zu Fuß zur Akropolis gehen. Es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe, also war alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen!

The helpfulness of the staff was the most valuable factor having never been to Greece before. There were good coffee shops and a bakery near by. The room was small but we knew that. There was only one outlet. The shower was impossibly small. The people sharing the bathroom on our floor were extremely noisy.

Quiet area with lots of stores and restaurants around, plus the very good contemporary art museum. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast available, since I booked this hotel partly for that reason. (The site said breakfast was available by request, but when we asked about it, we were told no breakfast was available.)

• Visser (9/5): Perfect plekje in Athene. - Ik verbleef om de begane grond dus qua mijn zware bagage, was dat heel prettig. Duidelijke afspraken. Vriendelijk personeel. Het enige minpuntje was de gehorigheid. Mijn kamer was naast de was/strijkkamer. Ik was toch vroeg op, maar als je wil uitslapen is het gehorig.

Shower needs a new curtain as it’s quite old/ broken. No kettle in rooms to make a cup of tea or coffee surprised me!

Some rooms have shared bathrooms, so it’s worth paying attention to this when making your reservation. The sound and heat insulation are not very good.

I didn't love the shared bathroom but this was the only room available to book. It would be good if the bedroom had some hooks on the door to hang coats etc.

Our room had a lovely balcony with a huge bougainvillea so it was very private. Easy check in and out the room was very comfortable and clean. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

My room was right by the shared toilet - I heard the door opening and closing and the toilet flushing many times, despite wearing ear plugs. I still managed to get a reasonable night's sleep as I was tired, but it was a bit fustrating.

• Nancy (5/5): Good for a short stay - The staff was very welcoming and understanding The location of the hotel was close to everything and to the metro line A bit dusty, some dust under the sheets of one of the beds even though the sheets were clearly fresh. We turned the sealing fan on, maybe that's what projected dust onto the sheets. The bathroom was tiny and the shower curtain was a bit moldy, but they changed it as soon as we told them about it. Overall nice but a bit old and lacks ventilation, the walls are thin we heard the neighbors going in and out to use the hallway bathroom.

• gulnazi (8/5): Great memory - I really liked the hotel’s location — it was just a 5-minute walk from the metro station. The cleanliness of the hotel was of a very high standard. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. There were several useful shops nearby, including some excellent pastry shops. I can only mention the small size of the room and the bathroom; however, considering the room price, this was a fair drawback. I would gladly recommend it to other travelers.

• Tom (7/5): Praktisch verblijf midden in het centrum maar toch vrij rustig gelegen - De kamer was aangenaam, bedden waren goed. Er was een terras, weliswaar aan de kleine kant. Ligging was goed, vlakbij het centrum, op wandelafstand. Ook heel dicht bij het metrostation Sygrou-Fix. Op het einde van een doodlopende straat dus al bij al vrij rustig gelegen. Wij hadden geen last van lawaai afkomstig van de straat. Ben je ervan bewust dat de wc zich bevindt in de gedeelde badkamer. We wisten op voorhand dat het een gedeelde badkamer was, maar hebben niet echt stilgestaan bij het gegeven dat de wc niet afzonderlijk was van de badkamer. Als er meerdere gasten zijn op het verdiep: badkamer frequent bezet in de morgen (en wij hadden een vrij strak schema waardoor we op tijd op bepaalde plaatsen wilden zijn). Niet elke gast is even proper op de wc of zet het raampje even open, ook daar moet je mee kunnen leven... (Het hotel kan hier uiteraard niets aandoen, maar ik geef het maar mee zodat je hier rekening mee kan houden).

Kommunikasjonen med stedet. Ettersom resepsjonen var stengt da jeg kom og ingen kodeløsning var gitt, ble jeg stående utenfor å vente til en av de andre gjestene tilfeldigvis kom forbi og slapp meg inn. Ja, jeg kunne ha ringt, men det er ikke en god måte å møte gjestene sine på.

The hotel shared helpful messages ahead of check-in, plus accommodated late arrival. Brilliant location - a side-street in a quiet, local neighbourhood, with shops, restaurants and bakeries right nearby. It's an easy 15-20 minute walk to the Acropolis, and metro station Sygrou–Fix is close if needed. Given the small size of the bathroom, the shower often led to water throughout the bathroom floor - there's an additional drain so no risk of flooding, just wasn't ideal. The safety deposit box in our room seemed to be broken (and had no instructions for use). We specifically booked a twin room, but responses repeated that this was subject to availability. While our room fortunately did have twin beds, it was concerning not to have certainty on this before arrival.

• Nathan (10/5): Perfect and quiet location to explore Athens - Amazing location (15-20 mins walking from the acropolis and lots of cafes and restaurants within one block), clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms, friendly and helpful staff, great value for the price !
