Guest Reviews
- johnr1622 (8/5): good accommodation but too many stairs - there were so many stairs and we are neither young or very mobile. We were on floor 3 with no lifts and many stairs from carpark to ground level.
- Michael (9/5): Good stay - Nice big apartment in a decent location. Lots of stairs for an old fella like me!
- Jodie (10/5): I would like to spend a couple of weeks, the unit was very clean, spacious and perfect location. - It was super easy to collect the keys and the instruction were easy to understand N/A
- Rajeev (7/5): - Good location No lifts available
- Victoria (6/5): - Opp9site beach Noisy on main rd. Very basic,
- Jady (8/5): Lovely location and enjoyed the pool and unit looked fresh and modern, AC could of been better. - Unit 5 was the best price compared to the rest of the units as double checked and it also had the best view to the observatory, park and ocean. The unit was clean and fresh and good general facilities. We loved the pool area and was nice to have the best car park as a single park with space to the side - no risk of other cars opening up your car. The lead up to where to find the key was confusing and worried us a little. We did message when we booked / paid and took a few days to get a reply to explain the lock box and how it worked - that should be issued automatically on payment (not the code but how it works). It is obvious the rest of the resort operates through the reception as they were a little annoyed with unit 5 and giving us limited info and assistance.
Some tiles in the entry to unit 5 and steps were taped down and a trip risk.
The beds were a little saggy but still fairly comfortable - one of the single beds was not comfortable, and the first day the blinds were all open for our welcome and it was very hot so the whole unit was very hot for a very long time. The AC does not cool down to the bedrooms for sleeping as placed in a odd place in the living room that then shoots against a wall. The unit also needed a drying rack to put beach and pool towels on.

- Robert (8/5): Family Summer holiday in our favourite town - The unit is located in a fantastic and surprisingly quiet spot, handy to Town Beach and within reasonable walking distance of the CBD. It is spacious and equipped with everything one would need for an extended coastal holiday. The wider complex features a great pool and garden area and secure underground parking. We would absolutely stay again and in fact would love to own a holiday place like this for ourselves. While clean and comfortable, the unit and complex need a little TLC with minor maintenance required here and there. Perhaps the main thing for the unit is the verticals in the bedrooms which are missing some blades, and the chain lock on the main door which needs repair. These things certainly didn’t detract from our stay, however. A final word - as described there are A LOT of stairs. You’ve been warned…

- Michelle (10/5): - Location to beach, restaurants etc. and spacious and comfort of the apartment.
- Saskia (4/5): Not worth it - Close to town The bathroom door couldn't lock, the blinds wouldn't open.
The cupboards and windowsills were sticky and the place wasn't very clean. Very filthy carpet.
- Susan (6/5): - Location Very dated. 1/2 roll of toilet paper. Hairdryer not working
- Stephen (9/5): - Property was modern and clean, the unit was self contained large and had everything you required. There was nothing we didn't like
- Alanah (8/5): Very enjoyable weekend, weather was perfect, accommodation very good. - The property was excellent, location was great, the only downfall were all the stairs. Too many stairs to get to our unit. The email we received said stairs from the garage, through the garden and up a FEW stairs. I think I counted 45 stairs.
- Carolyn (9/5): Well equipped apartment and convenient location - Close to Town beach and centre of town. Well equipped kitchen. Tidy apartment. Toilet seat is loose and kept moving. Single bed a bit soft for my liking.
- Carla (9/5): Enjoyable - Beds comfy, walking distance to beach, good shower pressure, nice sunny verandah, secure parking. Pool was open on arrival. When wanting to use on Saturday morning closed. For the entire stay.
- Mitchell (7/5): Good stay, room could be cleaner but was in a good location - Located in a good spot Bit overly priced for the quality of room
- Leanne (10/5): -

- Raxit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noreen (9/5): Lovely, though the cyclone changed some of our plans - The friendly manager The stair climb to the top
- Katrina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (9/5): Great short getaway. Unit was well positioned and comfortable. - The windows needed a clean but everything else was great!
- Svetlana (8/5): Great family getaway, loved the resort pool and being so close to the beach - Great resort facilities, close to the beach. Unit had everything we needed, clean, tidy and spacious. Too hot in the bedrooms from direct sun and unit positioning on the top floor, Another aircon closer to bedrooms would have been great.
- Bec (7/5): Good -
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic apartment. Very spacious and clean. Everything you could need. Great location. Parking too. Good communication from owner. Would definitely recommend. Absolutely nothing.
- Susanna (10/5): Had a wonderful time - It was very clean ,
Great location The building didn’t have an elevator . It was very difficult carrying bags up to top floor ., also the shower head was over the spa bath . We had to be extra careful getting in and out bit of a hazard spot . We all got around those minor issues
- Julie (10/5): I would recommend this place , I will be back :) - The location was perfect , and access to the beach .
- Meredith (8/5): Great apartment to stay in. Nice and comfortable. - Location. Close to everything that we needed. Stairs. Need an elevator. Lol!!!
- Lorraine (8/5): This is basic accommodation- which requires some refreshing. - The apartment was a good size. Appliances in good condition. Bed was comfortable. Good bedding. Apartment needed refreshed/ painted. The mugs were dirty on arrival and had to be washed before we used. Crumbs under settee.
- Joanne (9/5): Great location, clean apartment with all you need, tidy grounds, great pool and secure parking. Definitely worth the sta - Location is brilliant, short walk to the Town Beach and half a block from a cafe that serves great coffee Totally my fault, the unit is on the top floor (4th floor) with no elevator, makes big luggage and effort and with mobility issues challenging - but that’s written in the advert.
- Bernard (8/5): Very good -
- Belinda (7/5): Good -
- Ben (4/5): Painful for my wife beacuse of NO LIFT available. - Position of accommodation My wife and I were very disapponted and surprised when we got there to find that we had to carry all our luggage for more than 50 meters from our car then up 54 stairs to our apartment. There was NO LIFT. We are in our late seventies and my wife has arthritic knees. Had we seen a warning about the stairs and no lift on the Booking com site we would have definitly not booked to stay at this place. It can be dangerous for visitors with certain medical conditions.
- Greg (8/5): Comfortable and close to where we wanted to go. - Near the beach and bowling club. Too many steps.
- Annesley (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable, clean and spacious . Great location, easy walk to town, cafes and restaurants.
- Verna (10/5): An ideal place to stay in Port Macquarie for a relaxing holiday close to all activities. - The apartment was awesome - very well appointed and had all day sun. It was close to the broadwalk around the sea front and had a great cafe close for breakfast and lunch if wanted. The place was spotlessly clean on arrival, and beds gave a comfortable night’s sleep. Our stay was only two nights though we would have stayed longer if possible. Staff and manager were so welcoming. We loved our stay. Not really anything we didn’t like. Our unit was on the second floor at the top of the building and there was no lift. There were not many stairs though and they were easy to climb with a small landing on way. Thé steps weren’t an issue for us.
- Hannah (8/5): Had a great time at port Macquarie and the location of the apartment was fantastic - Good location The stairs
