• Fabienne (10/5): i loved it there! - Such a cute little Hostel!! My room was adorable and even though there is no reception in winter it was super easy to locate the hostel and to find my room. Also the kitchen / common area is adorable and functional. be aware that the hostel is outside of the village of kilpisjärvi (about 5km) and that the taxi company there only has about 2 cars that need to be booked (WAY) in advance. i could not get a booking during my stay there and was lucky enough that the guide of my snowmobilesafari provided pick-up :)

• Laura (9/5): Gut ausgestattetes Hostel - Gute Ausstattung, moderne Zimmer mit bequemen Bett. Von der Unterkunft hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf den See. Vor Ort kann man ebenfalls Schneeschuhe ausleihen, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

• Øyvind (7/5): - Nice rooms, almost like a hotel twin room. Easy access and good info by the crew on beforehand. Kitchen ok. Would have expected a bit more sanatary facilities. Only one toilet, one shower and one washing sink all together in the same room makes little privacy, or if you want privacy and lock the main door, you might cause people waiting outside.
• niki_tomek (10/5): mam nadzieję do zobaczenia :) - Hostel bardzo czysty, w dogodnej lokalizacji. Pokoje mają wyjątkowo wygodne łóżka. Przyjemna kuchnia i jadalnia ze wspaniałym widokiem. Do dyspozycji gości kawa, herbata oraz płatki śniadaniowe. Bardzo pomocny i uprzejmy personel. Można wypożyczyć rakiety śnieżne. Za hostelem znajduje się początek trasy na szczyt Saana.

• Fanny (7/5): C’était bien pour un court séjour, bon rapport qualité prix, j’ai apprécié le calme du lieu ainsi que la propreté. - La localisation, la propreté et le calme. Il manque peut-être des équipements dans la cuisine et la salle de bain..(éponges pour la vaisselle, savon gel douche, étagères dans la douche) Pas trop d’intimité dans la douche (un simple rideau, et quelqu’un qui se brosse les dents juste derrière le rideau)

• Mira (10/5): Erinomainen hinta-laatu suhde. - Kyseessä siis hostel, jossa ei ravintolapalveluja. Huoneet erittäin kauniit ja toimivat, kalustus uutta. Yhteistilat (keittiö ja oleskelutila) erittäin siistit ja toimivat. Kylpyhuone vielä remontoimatta mutta palveli kuten pitää. Sijainti upea ja rauhallinen, Saana-tunturin juurella, Kilpisjärven rannalla.

• Luca (10/5): Great Hostel - Great place to stay. It‘s a hostel, with easy self check-in. Very clean, well equipped kitchen and cozy. we would definitely stay there again.

• Rohn (10/5): Im Hostel Saana zu übernachten, war die perfekte Entscheidung für meinen Finnland-Trip! - Eine absolute 10/10. Perfekte Unterkunft weit weg vom Trubel, gemütlich und mit viel Charme eingerichtet. Gut ausgestattete Küche und tolle Gemeinschaftsräume, vor allem im Wohnzimmer fühlt man sich direkt wie zuhause. Ein grosses Kompliment ans Personal - freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend!

• Fred Dc (9/5): Wintertripje - Een heel proper hostel gelegen op een prachtige locatie aan het drielandenpunt van Finland, Zweden en Noorwegen en gelegen aan de voet van de Saana. Ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor sneeuwschoenwandelingen en excursies zoals sneeuwscootertochten. De kamers zijn prachtig afgewerkt (uitstekend bed) en er is ook een gemeenschappelijke en volledig uitgeruste keuken en eetkamer/living om zelf te kokerellen. Het ligt afgelegen maar op 5 kilometer afstand is een supermarkt waar zowat alles verkocht wordt (voeding, souvenirs, sportkleding, outdoorartikelen, ...). De kamers zijn gehorig. Oordopjes zijn hier heel nuttig maar ik heb hier toch uitstekend geslapen.

• Amitava Michael (9/5): Excellent Location and Very Comfortable for a Quick stop - Love all the Outlets for our electronics! - This hostel was definitely better than what we expected. The host was very accommodating for our late arrival, and we were able to do everything on our own. This was our first hostel stay, and we were impressed: aside from sharing a bathroom, which many westerns are not used to, but did go fine, everything was very comfortable, clean, and it was in a beautiful location. I would love to return during the summer months when we could see the surroundings a little better, but the winter month was still absolutely incredible. I will always wonder, however, why Norwegian moose cannot seem to read road signs properly, and always cross at the Caribou signs. ;) There is nothing that could've been improved – we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

• Joanna (10/5): Great place near hiking area - Good location, very comfortable bedroom and cute sitting room. Kitchen and dining area. Free cereal, tea and coffee available but no milk. Just make sure to have a pack of milk or soya milk from the supermarket with you;) The rest was absolutely perfect thank you.

• Elisa (10/5): 10 - Todella siistit ja modernit huoneet. Keittiö ja oleskelutila oli todella tunnelmallinen ja maisemat kohdillaan. Kilpisjärven huokein majoitushinta mutta puitteet olivat laadukkaat siihen nähden. Keittiöstä puuttui viinipullonavaaja. Piti improvisoida, mutta laitettiin parannusehdotuksiin.

• monique (10/5): Excellent rapport qualité prix en pleine nature. - Hotel rénové interieurement ,bien équipé et décoration harmonieuse . Il y a à disposition thé ,café,muesli . Très bon rapport qualité /prix. Nous avons été étonnées que l'hotel soit si peu occupé à nos dates. rien
• Jasmin (10/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt etwas ausserhalb von Dorfkern, aber an einer sehr schönen Lage. Es handelt sich um eine Unterkunft in welcher man ein sehr schönes Zimmer hat. Das Bett ist super bequem und das Zimmer sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Dann gibt es ein geräumiges Gemeinschaftsbad für Damen und für Herren, welches sehr sauber ist. Des weiteren eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein grossszügigen Aufenthaltsraum mit mehreren Esstischen und einen grossen Sofa. Das Personal ist sehr freundöich und hilfsbereit. wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen.

• Ingeborg (9/5): Hotellrom med hostellfasiliteter. Perfekt sted for en rask overnatting! - Rommet var helt supert! Vi hadde med oss egen frokost, men satt pris på at det var kaffe tilgjengelig. Kjøkkenfasilitetene var veldig greie og det var enkelt å finne fram til det vi trengte! Fornøyd med enkel innsjekk med kode og nøkkel. Badene er litt slitne.

• Annukka (10/5): Tunnelmallinen hostelli Saanan juurellla. - Hostelli on ihanasti laitettu ja tunnelmallinen pikku hostelli aivan Saanan juurella. Retlkeilijänä olisin arvostanut kuivauakaappia, tai tilaa kuivata lumisia varusteita. Tämä olibainut puute.

• Igor (10/5): - Забронировал по ошибке, думая что это отель так как соотношение фото - цена меня устроило. Приехал с семьей поздно ночью, постояльцев в хостеле скорее всего не было. Несмотря на то, что здание хостела старое - поразила чистота, уют и тепло во всем здании. Ни разу не пожалели что проделали путь в 2000 км туда и обратно чтобы просто увидеть полярную ночь . Обязательно вернёмся туда летом. Из недостатков :в зимнее время года не работает кухня, пришлось ждать открытия местного кафе.
