• Emily (8/5): - Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Lots of space downstairs. Great shower. Easy check in/out and well fenced garden for the dogs. Just worth noting in advance that the hot tub takes a minimum of 2.5-3 bags of logs. We lit it one night when we only had one bag which didn’t do much!

The only downside was the hot tub - Lovely house Beds were really comfortable Lovely location for getting around Harris Loved the bench out the back of the property overlooking the bay Many games of chess were played. The whole stay was really relaxing and enjoyable Hot tub was one of the big draws for us. We thought we would be out using this daily. Found it a bit misleading for the property description not to mention that the hot tub is wood fired and takes 4-5 hours of tending this fire for it to heat up. We did this for 5 hours and it was still tepid and unusable. There was only enough wood to do this once so we never got to use it.

• Imants (10/5): Superb holiday house - The house has been recently renovated and is incredibly comfortable. It has been fitted with lovely furnishings and has an excellent kitchen. This is without mentioning the superb location and incredible view from the bench. We were a family of six adults and a baby and we all had a fantastic time. Nothing at all, we would stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend wholeheartedly.

• Chris (10/5): Would definitely return - Very comfy bed, immaculately clean, well equipped for our stay. The hot tub was a nice touch, but very time consuming and tying. Quite tricky to plan around keeping it hot for when you want to use it.
• Jane (6/5): A very clean warm and well located house. - The location was brilliant. The cleanliness was fabulous. The house was nice and warm. Hospitable with regard to dogs. The local neighbours were lovely. The beds were comfortable. Oversized kitchen table ….an effort to sit 4 us around. We stay on the islands regularly and it was quite expensive compared to other places. It lacked a bit of character!

• Alison (7/5): Was a lovely house in beautiful surroundings! People need to be made aware of the fact that bedrooms and toilets are on - The location , it was modern, very clean and quiet 🤣 No mention of the layout within the house !! We took my dad who uses a wheelchair and zimmer. All bedrooms and toilets were on the first floor.

• Daniel (7/5): Nice relaxing stay ,house very clean and welcoming ,lovely peaceful area. - Great kitchen and overall well equipped house.great washing machine and nice hot showers . Bathroom door handle broken on first bathroom and also could not completely close the door once locked .could do with a decent bread knife in the kitchen and a tv in the lounge (as we had kids sleeping on the sofa beds we couldn’t use it as a lounge so much due to clothes and beds etc) .no washing line.bedsheets didn’t the mattress very well .
• Marcus (9/5): Superb - Great spacious property, full equipped with everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable Not a big thing but the bedrooms could’ve done with some curtains, it was very bright from very early, or an eye mask works well too
• Utchef (9/5): Cozy, clean rental in a stunning Scottish isle setting. - The location was a bit remote, and very quiet, but that is what we were looking for! We enjoyed the lovely drive to and from the property and the locals we spoke with were very friendly and helpful. The house was very well equipped for our needs, especially the kitchen. This was one of the best kitchens I've experienced among many rentals in our travels, which made it fun for our group of 6 to dine together on our nights in. Two of us in the group love to cook and we found all we needed in the cupboards for prepping those meals. The only very minor items we experienced: Sheets and towels were a bit too fragrant for us, but not terrible. Although the comforters on the beds were comfortable, they were too hot for us, and the weather sometimes prevented us from having open windows to remedy that. Realizing that one needs to stay at the property long enough to have a down-day in order to have time to prepare and use the hot tub. With our timing, we sadly didn't get to use it.
• Susan (8/5): We had a most enjoyable stay on this beautiful island. - The house was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was lovely, with spectacular views from the bench, which was a very short walk away. The hot tub was great fun (fitted 5 adults) A couple of bedside tables and a hook on the back of the door would have made the twin room more comfortable. We visited at the very end of the season and the supply of logs for the hot tub was very low, and only 4 bottles of wine (all white) in the rack (luckily we took our own)
• Paul (10/5): Absolutely amazing, would definitely go back. - The house was amazing, it was like a show house, very tastefully decorated and furnished. The location was perfect for exploring Harris and we only wished that we had more time there. Nothing- the whole experience was outstanding.

• Naomi (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable cottage. - The location was absolutely amazing. Lovely island, very peaceful. The sheiling was fantastic, spotlessly clean. Had everything you need and more! Beds very comfy, lots of towels and hot tub as an added extra.
• Helen (10/5): It is a lovely property clean and in a beautiful location . - The location is amazing. If you walk up to the bench the view is spectacular I thought the hot tub would have been ready to use but you had to heat for around four hours
• Turnbull (8/5): We enjoyed our stay although weather was poor. - The location was excellent.on the whole property was good. The table in kitchen was big but does not sit 8.chairs in kitchen a bit worse for wear.only 6chairs.some mould in shower .
