Guest Reviews
- Stephen (6/5): It was a nice area and close to amenities and bus route. Bed great the rest needs some TLC. - The bed was clean and comfortable. Good location for shops and restaurant. Parking space. Good concept of having a shared kitchen and washing area with room numbered fridges. Good lighting in room. Kitchen not that clean, surfaces sticky. Our bathroom floor was not very clean and shower temperature could not be adjusted. Loo seat loose.
- Mome (7/5): Good -
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (9/5): Very comfortable. Exceeded our expectations. - Very comfortable bed. Apartment finished to a high standard. Easy parking Fan had a problem with the blades hitting the guard, making a clattering noise. We stopped using it. Would have been nice to have had some coffee and tea spoons
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - An unusual accommodation for us. A house where five rooms are converted into ensuite bedrooms with a separate communal kitchen/dining area. The property was clean and everything we needed was provided for our one night stay. It was ideally situated for an appointment in Headington the following day and within walking distance of local supermarkets and restaurants. The only way to achieve privacy in our downstairs front room was to draw the curtains.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Rainer (8/5): Very good - I booked it because it’s one of the very few facilities with parking. Although 4 km from city centre, this worked out very well taking busses to town (every 3-5 minutes, friendly, clean, easy cheap). Room was a bit small.
- Vendula (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and spacious room, quiet neighborhood, clean, and easy check-in. Great value for money.
- Jibhkate (10/5): Exceptional -

- Juraj (10/5): A very neat apartment at a convenient location with a kind owner. - Clean, well kept, 5 mins. walk to the bus stop and very good and friendly communication with the owner. Thank you, Sandy.
- Ian (10/5): everything went well, it's a great place to stay - very helpful people, a great place to stay
- Amin (10/5): A top choice in Oxford - I got the room 1. Everything was clean and feels like home. I have access to kitchen and garden which was really nice. Also, the location was great, like 15 min with bus to city centre.
- Aris (6/5): Pleasant - The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfy.
Easy check in and no curfew. It wasn't clear in the description that the kitchen and dining were communal.
- Chris (1/5): We could not stay, it was appalling, we had to seek other arrangements. - When I booked this accommodation I was NOT AWARE that this was an Air B&B. Worse than that the building was filthy and was so bad we could not enter. As it was anAirB&B I was not aware of the method of entry. I am expecting that money will be returned immediately. Filthy dirty entrance porch. We met a person who said he was the tenant. There was a strange person of female gender who was sitting on the stairs.
- Bence (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (10/5): A lovely room on a quiet street, and great communication throughout, including clear instructions on how to check in, wh - Lovely room, spotlessly clean and very comfortable Nothing
- Kathryn (8/5): Comfortable self-catering in quiet, safe area. - Seasons House is a semi-detached house in the Summertown suburb of Oxford. There is a communal lounge, a well-equipped kitchen and there are 6 en-suite bedrooms. I had the attic room which was bright, spacious and comfortable. Wi-fi was excellent: I was able to run webinars and stream vidoes with ease. The house is on a quiet road and I was able to sleep with windows open without disturbance.
It's self-catering, and there are supermarkets (Sainsbury's, Tesco and M&S Simply Food) within a 10-12 minute walk away. There is a kettle in each room, and communal toaster, microwave, oven and hob, fridges, freezers and dishwasher in the kitchen. The kitchen also provides a washing machine and airers for laundry.
There is a bus stop on nearby Banbury Road with regular buses into Oxford city centre, a journey of 12-15 minutes. The room was too warm for my comfort. There is no air-conditioning (I approve, in environmental terms) so keeping the room at a comfortable temperature meant leaving windows wide open.
- Hervin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (9/5): Clean, quiet and comfortable - would use again. - It is located in a nice, quiet side road, with off-road parking - which is a bonus in Oxford. It was very clean and spacious, with a good desk for working. It was useful to have a shared kitchen area with fridge, kettle, microwave etc so that I could prepare my own food. The host responded to messages very promptly. No TV in the room.
- Barry (10/5): Ideal little spot. - Situated in a nice quite location off the main road, 10-minute walk into the local shops, restaurants & cafes of Summertown.
Transport into main Oxford City very frequent & good choice. Would very much like to return as near to where we live. There was nothing.
- Stefan (8/5): Nice, if it hadn't been so overheated. - Room 6 under the roof heats up to more than external temperature - a real problem when it is 30 deg. outside. A small AC unit is provided, but can only work as a fan due to the lack of a tube leading the hot air exhaust outside.
- Stephen (1/5): In the 5 minutes we were there we felt that we had been ripped off. - Pretty Much Nothing. This Property was sold as a luxury stay with amenities in the room. We booked it purely off the back of the reviews at 9.1. This is basically Student accommodation in an old council house. On entering the premises, there was a mountain of unopened mail. We didn't even go into any shared kitchen (which was not stated). The room was bland and with just a bed. We left immediately and informed the owner, who was not interested in returning our fee for the two days. After making a complaint, we received a response in Mandarin, which when I translated was clearly a complaint from another guest as it mentioned a single occupant.
- Monika (9/5): Superb -
- Elsa (8/5): Lovely stay - The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Although equipped with a fan, the room temperature was very very hot.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Orlando (8/5): Very good -
- Alberto (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful room with ensuite bathroom, where you can stay for a short or a long stay as you can use the common areas: living room, kitchen and garden, that you share with others guests. The house is completely renovated and near the city centre.
- Meilina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbora (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dafydd (7/5): This suited my purposes - Functional
- Deborah (8/5): Very good -
- Furst (9/5): Superb -
- Jan-moritz (8/5): Very good -
- Vladimir (10/5): Exceptional - Outstanding bed and cosy room, which had everything that I needed. A special thank you for the kettle, and outlets with USB sockets! The location is a bit far from the city center. Also, there were some hairs on the wall in the shower.
- Charles (9/5): We were visiting family and it was great to be so near them in a lovely room. - Close to shops and restaurants. Good for public transport into Oxford. Parking available. Very useful in that area Everything was great!
- Jiawen (10/5): Excellent stay - Clean and comfortable, really good room, highly recommended.
- Hilary (9/5): Comfortable, clean and efficient in convenient location - Clean tidy and comfortable bed.
- Sophie (8/5): Very good -
- Kd (9/5): Great room in a nice area of town which is close enough to get to the city but quiet when you desire - Well located, close to a major bus route into the city center and very walkable to the Summertown neighborhood. The room was extremely clean, well presented, and comfortable. The heat was an issue for one night but the owner went and bought fans for each room to address the heat which was very thoughtful and helped tremendously. No complaints.
