• Kathryn (10/5): - Great communication from the owners. The cottage was exactly as the photos. Excellent location, just a short walk to the major sites, we parked outside the cottage and didn't need to move the car until we left. Very comfortable beds, we chose the back bedroom and slept soundly. The cottage felt very welcoming and home from home. We're already planning a return for next year.
• Mary (10/5): Lincoln city cottage short stay - Lovely cute cottage. Clean, comfortable with everything you would need for a short break. Great location for cathedral, castle, steep street and main shopping and dining areas. Would definitely stay again. Nothing.
• Debby (10/5): Perfect location for this beautiful cottage. - A beautifully furnished cottage in a perfect location. The bed was really comfy and the towels were large and soft. Milk and biscuits provided alongside tea, coffee,sugar. Ideal for both "Steep Hill"" and the city centre. There are no drawers in bedrooms but we managed without.

• Paul (9/5): Would stay again. Great place to visit Lincoln from. Very close to steep hill. Castle and cathedral. - Great location. Well presented and equipped. Some cutlery and bowls were unclean.
• Martin (9/5): Excellent base in town centre. - Location so convenient for cathedral, shops and station. Attractive decor,and a comfy bed. The kitchen well equipped, so you could make proper meals as well as snacks.Slept in the back room, which was totally quiet. Nice to have the option of a bath as well as a shower. Useful food things kindly supplied by the hosts. A grater would be useful in the kitchen. I couldn't find BBC programmes on the TV, but this could just be me being untechnical!

• Georgina (10/5): Perfect stay for Lincoln - It is a beautifully decorated,very convenient little house for a visit to Lincoln - location is perfect - very clean and comfortable. Perfect for 2 or 3 if one is a couple . We were lucky with parking - to find a space nearby for our permit .
• Paul (9/5): Small but lovely accommodation in a great location - Location is great, right in the heart of the city. Cathedral about 10 min walk (albeit uphill!), town centre 1min, theatre 8mins. Bed very comfortable, tastefully decorated throughout. Wifi rather intermittent. Shower ok but easily flooded bathroom (partially). Bathroom being downstairs took some getting used to, especially at night.

• David (9/5): Great cottage, great location, great weekend! - Lovely cozy, comfortable and well decorated cottage, superbly located for exploring Lincoln. Well appointed for all your home from home needs.
• Pagan (10/5): Very wonderful place to stay! - We have had a lovely stay in the property this weekend. We were so pleased when we arrived to tea, coffee, sugar & even milk in the fridge. We had also been left some cookies which was a lovely touch. There was WiFi, fresh towels on the beds and the kitchen is well stocked with all cooking equipment. It is in a perfect location with Lincoln city centre being no more than a 5 minute walk away (but it also doesn’t get loud in the evening/night). There is nothing negative that we could say! Very happy and we cannot wait to stay here again in the future! It truly felt like a home away from home!

• LUKE (10/5): The Perfect Xmas retreat! - Location and quality of the property is a very high standard for the price paid. Included a parking permit and I was able to park directly outside, which was a bonus. The host left us Xmas treats for our arrival.
• Jane (9/5): A comfortable home from home. - The property is well located for Steep Hill and the train station so we were able to walk everywhere. City Cottage had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Thank you. The stairs are quite steep, although we know that’s part of the Cottage’s charm.
• Paul (10/5): Lovely, clean and quiet central city location. Would highly recommend. - Beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet and superb location. We couldn't get parked on the road so don't expect this at busy times. We paid to park overnight in the NCP car park behind the accommodation which was £12 for up to 24 hours.

• Helena (8/5): Great stay for a weekend in Lincoln. Very close to the centre. - Beautiful decor and very cosy. Very good communication from the hosts. A bit noisy with cars and people walking past.
• Alexandra (1/5): Terrible, double booked! Did not get to stay. - Nothing, we did not get to stay as it was double booked and other people were there when we turned up! We arrived to find our accommodation was already occupied by other people. Discovered it was a double booking. We had travelled long distances and were under time pressure to go to a gig expecting to check in and go straight out. We had already paid for the accommodation in advance. Clearly a huge inconvenience and very distressing. The hosts did not answer our phone calls or messages, no apology received so far. Had to sort out through booking.com who cancelled the booking and left us to find an alternative on our own. Refund coming in 12 days apparently! Luckily we could find somewhere, although it was last minute, but more expensive, had to pay again and not where we had wanted to be. Very very annoyed!
• Justine (10/5): Loved it! Perfect for a girlie catch up xx - Fantastic location. Beautifully done, everything you need for a stay to see the sights of Lincoln. Immaculately clean. Nothing we didn’t like. Only recommendations would be a hand towel in the bathroom & maybe some nets halfway down the windows in the rooms downstairs to allow for a little more privacy but with the curtains open to let in the light especially the lounge.

• Julia (10/5): Clean, comfortable and a great location for exploring Lincoln! - The cottage has been tastefully refurbished and was exceptionally clean. The hosts made us feel very welcome with great communication and tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on arrival. The location was very close to the centre of Lincoln and on street parking was easy to find. We loved it and would definitely use it again if we return to Lincoln. For us there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

• Maxine (10/5): Fabulous cottage - A fabulous cottage imaginatively renovated. Cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Great location, parking available and short walk to the centre of Lincoln. This is an absolute gem of a place. Wouldn't look anywhere else if staying in Lincoln. No negatives.

• Alison (9/5): Superb - City Cottage could not have been more perfect! The house has clearly had a lot of work put into it, the whole place is beauitful! We had everything we needed and more, the beds were super comfy, the location was central to Lincoln but still very quiet. Would absolutely stay here again Wifi would have been a nice bonus, mainly for the TV, but otherwise no complaints!

• Rita (10/5): Exceptional - Everthing about the property,facilities,decor and easy access to everything Lincoln has to offer.Clean and comfortable.we even had The Red Arrows fly over,twice ! There was nothing that we disliked.
• Lee (9/5): Superb - We loved the trendy decor and colour scheme of the house. We received clear and timeous instructions for check-in and check-out. The location is excellent - we could just park the car and walk to see the sights of the city. Absolutely nothing that we didn't like! However, for those guests who prefer a quiet place in the evenings, they might not like the noise levels from the local pubs over the weekend.
