• callum (9/5): Comfortable and all you need for a night away - Beautifully laid out Accomodation and very comfortable apart from the heat. Quite warm in evening even with heating turned off. Other than that, fantastic and would happily stay again

• Stuart (7/5): List of facilities deceptive. - The bed was comfortable and it was warm enough. Also very close to the sea front Seating was all very uncomfortable and no cooker. The sofa isn’t a sofa but rather a bed with no back support. I had to buy an air fryer to cook meals. Location is in an alley way off the street. Is “dog friendly” but no enclosed area so dogs had to be on lead all the time.

• Djessica (10/5): - The Tern Cottage is so cosy and looked like every detail, in everything was well thought about, to make yourself feel welcome and at home, so warm also! I absolutely loved the place!!! Well worth the money and Jenny and Ron were so nice, I even had my rabbit with me, which also loved the huge and cute garden

• mc straw (10/5): - Everything was available and extra touches from the host. All toiletries supplied really comfy bed and it was warm. 2 minutes from the harbour. Also had wi-fi and a microwave which isn't on your list of amenities which should be as it's important. The only thing I could say is that as the property is dog friendly there is no gate in the back garden which meant we had to put a leash on our dog.

• Mark (10/5): Great stay with a great host. Lovely quiet property. - Great presentation very comfortable. Immaculately clean. Jenny had left us everything we needed for breakfast including some homemade goodies. Also little treats. She had thought of everything. Like a home away from home. We found the local facilities a little limited. Not much option for eating out.

Everyone was really friendly, Jenny, our host, was very accommodating. There is a fantastic pub over the road along with the marina. Would definitely recommend Nothing

• Mrs (10/5): Exceptional - It was a beautiful location a few minutes walk to the town.The sun was out so set in the excellent garden with sun loungers and a wine. The place itself was wonderful and was left enough food for a continental breakfast. There was nothing I could find fault with this place even the price was reasonable.
• Audrey (10/5): Gorgeous cottage with a touch of class - Gooseport is gorgeous. A lovely harbour overlooking Cockle Island with it's tern colony. Ron and Jenny were lovely. Cottage was amazing, a super little bolt hole. Spotless and well equipped. Lovely touches with the food and drinks supplied It wasn't a 'didn't like' more a 'I didn't read'. Hadn't read the facilities list correctly, so, as there was only a microwave, I had no way to cook a pizza I'd taken. However, Jenny offered kindly to heat it for me
• Eamonn (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, planning to return as soon as we can. Jenny greeted us with a very warm welcome and was very helpful with suggestions of places for us to go. She even had treats handy for our dog. That we only stayed one night!

The accommodation was nicely furnished and very clean. The hosts were available if needed but weren't intrusive. Nice outside space to enjoy a morning coffee.

Beautiful location and our cupcake (dog) loved the beach walks and she was made welcome too! Loved all the wee extras like the shower gel and shampoo . So much so we stopped off tkmax to buy our own lol A microwave would of been a nice touch as we could of made , soup , scrambled eggs and beans an so on xx

• Alex (10/5): Fabulous, couples and dogs will love it. Tip for tall people, you will love it here. - Excellent location, very nice for couples, lovely Bar and Restaurant 5 min walk away with both excellent food and drink. The AirB&B hosts very friendly and helpful. I am 6 ft 8 tall and loved the great quality bed and shower. Cottage has high ceilings, shower and bed made with tall people in mind. Lot of 5 star hotels could learn a lesson or two here. Cottage is so cosy and your dog is welcome too. Great places to walk with your dog. Noticed the whole village is dog friendly. Hosts had special treats and bowl for the dog. Instructions to find cottage location so easy to follow. Quiet location. We stayed in October and cottage was very comfortable warm. All kind of Breakfast items were available. I liked the cottage so much, that I am Planning to build one like it for ourself with this design and layout in mind. Thats how much we liked it. You know what could be better…. Absolutely nothing!!!!

Breakfast pack and snacks, tea, and coffee available. Any dietary requirements can be met. Big bonus for being pet friendly so I could enjoy time with my dogs 🥰 hosts were so lovely and had some chats in passing, always checking everything was ok too which I found lovely ☺️

Great location, close to the beach and a great base to explore the area. It was such a lovely and peaceful stay, all you need to feel at home away from home, is there. • Marion (10/5): It was excellent in every way. We would recommend it to anyone. - The breakfast was excellent. Jenny had provided everything from cereals to bread for toast, marmalade, etc.etc. There was even a pack of fruit slices including tropical fruits. She was so thoughtful about giving us extra treats. Although the rooms were small, the house took up a considerble portion of the original garden. There was enough garden left to create a perfect patio area with lovely shrubs and herbaceous plants, and a wildlife pond. All in all it made for a very relaxing break. It was also close to lovely, sandy beaches - excellent for our dog. There was not anything that we did not like.

Village has a good pub, a shop and isn’t fat from Bangor. The hosts , Jen and Ron , are welcoming and considerate . Really enjoyed our stay !
