• Giulia (8/5): - la posizione delle abitazioni è fantastica come ambientazione, panorama e tranquillità. lo staff molto gentile e disponibile. le camere veramente belle! purtroppo per arrivare bisogna percorrere circa 6km( 20 minuti in auto) in una strada veramente dissestata, quindi un po' scomodo per raggiungere il centro di Salento. anche il tragitto dalla reception alle camere è abbastanza impegnativo.

• Carolina (5/5): Lejano, incómodo y costoso - La vista del lugar es única. La comodidad de la cama, cobijas y almohadas también es muy buena. Las personas del lugar son maravillosas y muy serviciales La ubicación es realmente lejos de salento. La "cabaña" que nos dieron (palma de cera, cabaña 3) no tenía nada que ver con las fotos, y la llegada a ella era realmente complicada. No la recomiendo para viaje de paseo, quizá sirva para personas que vivan muy cerca y sólo quieran una noche diferente. No lleven maletas por que el tramo caminando es largo y complejo. Por el precio esperaba algo mucho más cómodo y espectacular

• Sree (9/5): Quiet Salento paradise, a romantic retreat - WOW this stay is freaking beautiful and incredible. I really really really wish we could've stayed longer!! It took us about an hour to walk into town, and it was surprisingly easy to grab an uber from town back up. The peaceful and tranquil stay exceeded expectations, the staff was incredible across the board, and the FOOD really blew us out of the water. Sooo beautiful to get it delivered to your room and enjoy the quiet night and have wine in the tub! Buy your own bevvies and snacks in town before you head up Unfortunately, to no fault of their own, the power was partially out our second night and we had some flooding issues from the heavy rains. The staff really went above and beyond to make it work for us, even letting us into another room that had hot water to have a shower! The tubs were bath tubs rather than hot tubs and took a bit to fill, but were plenty hot. Also, it is definitely a bit of a trek with your luggage from the reception up to the cabins, be prepared, take a head lamp.

• Jon (10/5): Our stay at Kavas was nothing short of incredible! From check in to check out the service was amazing, property and cab - The property is gorgeous. A little difficult to get up and down to the cabins, but absolutely gorgeous views.
• Fabio (4/5): Nature is amazing but with lots of downsides - The view and quietness is amazing. The food was ok for the price and compared to what you can find in the city, roomservice also good and inexpensive. unfortunately, many more than we expected. We stayed in cabin 7 (not sure about the others) and is not properly closed off from the outside and is very poorly insulated. The room is extremely cold (10°C), and the small heater provided is absolutely not sufficient. After the first night, the shower towels were changed but not the hand towel and the bed was made, but from the second day onward no one came anymore. We also ran out of toilet paper and had to ask for more. Glasses are provided in the room, but they were never replaced, so once used, you will not have clean ones. In the shower there is hot water, but from the sink the water temperature is freezing; considering also the room temperature, waking up and washing your face with that water is anything but pleasant. At breakfast they also forgot stuff (the fork, the maple syrup, … and you always had to ask). It should also be taken into account that getting from the hotel to the city center takes about 25 minutes by car on a very bad road (as clearly stated in the description) or 1 hour and 20 minutes on foot. The price for one car trip is 60,000 pesos (15 dollars). Unfortunately, the cabin is not worth the price paid.

Le jacuzzi, la déco, le calme, un magnifique coucher de soleil. Un peu trop loin du centre avec une route peu praticable. Il faut rajouter un coût de 60000 cop (environ 15 euros) par trajet qui dure 30 min.
• Lilian (10/5): Amazing - We really enjoyed our stay at Kavas! The accommodation was great with an amazing view. But the thing that really stood out is the staff, especially Kevin. He was very welcoming, helpful and kind. He and the chef made our stay. Thank you for everything! The only thing is the challenging road to get to the accommodation, but we think it was worth it.
• H (10/5): Beautiful Kava - Everything. Its a remote location with stunning views across the Andes and valley. The food was good and the staff very accommodating and helpful. Pack trainers you're happy to get muddy or walking boots/trainers there's beautiful walks all across this region and it's a short walk from the reception to the cabin. The cabins have jacuzzi baths facing the view in a sheltered outdoor spot in the cabin; very relaxing. I liked everything.

Great vistas and beautiful birds! Room service up the hill to our cabin delivered hot meals that were very delicious.. It is a bit of a trek up the hill so our only regret is that we only did one night - do at least two. Another tip is the dirt road is bumpy. Food was also very good, so no need to find other restaurants (unless desired) Be aware that the accommodation is 30 mins by car from Salento, so you will require / daily regular transportation which costs around 50k COP per trip.

You don’t feel like you are staying in a hotel, but rather in a private retreat in the middle of Colombia’s coffee region. A very special thank you to Andrés. He was always there for us — extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. Whether it was recommendations for tours, restaurants, or any kind of assistance, Andrés made sure we felt completely taken care of and that our stay was perfect. If you want to experience Salento at its most beautiful, Kavas Natural is the place to stay. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts! 💚

• Maxim (3/5): Worth to visit for half the price - The view was really nice! Having a hitter was really good, and having extra blankets. The staff was also very kind, especially Santiago who treated very well. The access to the place was very difficult, it is 30 min in very regular condition off road away from salento, which cause us a lot of stress, also there wasnt wiffi during all the time we where there! The room wasnt cleaned after the first night, so we arrived in a dirty room after our send day which was really bad. We had a fire place but it didnt have liquid to turn on, we ordered and it never arrived. Definitely the place is very over priced, and it was very disappointing experience.

Bathing in the terrace watching that incredible view is an incredible experience In the house there is no air conditioning, only an electric heater that was not enough to dry and make enough warm the room, considering that the weather there is often rainy and very humid, this should have been a must have. The path to access each house is not easy especially with luggages but this was clearly written, anyway something can be done to improve. The payment method is clearly stated but I would prefer that it could have been paid as all the other properties on booking

• Danielle (8/5): Prachtig verblijf met uitzicht - Voor aankomst kregen wij een telefoonnummer die wij konden contacteren voor het vervoer vanaf Salento naar het verblijf. De chauffeur was super vriendelijk en kon ons snel ophalen. Bij aankomt werden we ontvangen door een enthousiaste host, waarnaar we naar ons verblijf gingen. Het avondeten en ontbijt waren super, en het verblijf was prachtig en van alle gemakken voorzien! Het is leuk voor 1 of 2 nachten, omdat het ver weg van 'bewoonde wereld' af ligt.

• Jasmin (10/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt im Paradies - Die Lodge ist wunderschön in der Natur gelegen und man hat die absolute Ruhe. Vom eigenen Balkon/Whirlpool aus kann man Vögel beobachten und die Aussicht geniessen. Auf Wunsch werden einem die köstlichen Mahlzeiten, für einen kleinen Aufpreis, direkt zum Zimmer gebracht. Wir durften sogar unsere Wäsche abgeben und dies zu einem total fairen Preis. Diese war bereits am nächsten Tag gewaschen wieder im Zimmer. Das Highlight der Lodge sind aber die Angestellten, wahnsinnig zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Unser Kameraobjektiv ging während des Aufenthalts kaputt und der Besitzer hat sich sehr bemüht sogar noch eine Lösung zu finden. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen definitiv übertroffen. -

Really enjoyed how close it is to see wildlife, the sunset view is amazing and the chefs meals where great! One of the best getaways I have done in my entire life. If you want to connect with yourself, this is the place to be! Would recommend. I have nothing bad to say.

• Orozco (5/5): Just fine - We liked the view from the facility. The breakfast was good. We payed more for a hot tube but the facility wasn’t the best. Also it had a light switch uncovered and I got shocked by the electrical flow. We lost power into our unit all night and it was a bit cold.

• Macarena (9/5): - El alojamiento tiene una ubicación espectacular, las vistas son inmejorables, solo hay que tener en cuenta que la carretera no está pavimentada por tanto si tienes un vehículo bajo, es mejor contratar un jeep o algún transporte. Todo estaba muy limpio pero hay que tener en cuenta que según la ubicación donde está, hay humedad y bastantes insectos. Para nosotros esto no fue un problema. El servicio de room service es muy útil si no quieres bajar a hacer las comidas a la caseta principal, además la comida estaba buenísima. La gente de recepción muy amable, nos ayudaron y resolvieron todas nuestras dudas. Hay que tener en cuenta que desde la recepción hasta las cabaña hay unos diez minutos de subida aunque el camino no es de difícil acceso. Por poner un pero, el lavabo no tenía agua caliente.

We asked for room service to have the breakfast and the guy who delivered the service was caught by my boyfriend taking a sip of our orange juice bottle. So nasty. That and the road to get to the cabin, too bumpy.

La carretera para llegar al lugar era muy fea, aunque imagino que es normal para estar tan alto. Hay dias en que los pájaros te despiertan. Si vas a madrugar no es un problema, sino, pueden ser molestos.

La vista es hermosa, el desayuno es delicioso, los alrededores muy lindos con un jardín lleno de flores y pájaros, la ubicación muy buena y especialmente el personal es muy amable. Especialmente Don Álvaro nos hizo sentir en casa y esperamos volver pronto. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!
• Lisa (10/5): Paradise! - Such an amazing romantic getaway! Loved the peace and quiet and the room was wonderful. Staff where so friendly and went out of their way to assist. Be warned, there is an uphill walk to the cabin, totally worth the view and privacy but if you have any health issues this is not for you. Also no tv but loved the silence and lead to some pretty intense games of connect 4.
• MARTA (8/5): En la naturaleza - Su ubicación, en mitad de la naturaleza. Estaba todo muy limpio. Las vistas desde la cabaña son inmejorables. El trato de su personal. Son amables y encantadores. El desayuno estaba muy rico. El camino hasta la finca, hay muchos cantos y te arriesgas a pinchar las ruedas. Para acceder a la cabaña hay que subir por un camino no muy bien iluminado de unos 5-8 minutos, cuesta arriba (y en nuestro caso de noche).
• Bianca (4/5): Leuk op een plaatje, maar nee niet doen! - Het uitzicht is prachtig en heel rustgevend. Het is een drama om het huisje te bereiken. De auto hebben we beneden geparkeerd en daarna is het nog ruim 15 minuten de berg op klimmen om bij het huisje te komen, dus we namen enkel een tasje mee met wat spullen en lieten de rest van de bagage in de auto. Het ziet er allemaal heel idealistisch uit op plaatje maar het huisje was echt heel vies. Overal beestjes, heel benauwd vanbinnen. We waren er 2 nachten en kregen maar 1x handdoeken en 1 rol wc papier: Je krijgt je ontbijt bezorgd dus om een dubbele klim te voorkomen voor de bezorgers vroegen we of we een handdoek en wc papier bij het volgende ontbijt konden krijgen….maar helaas. Het ontbijt was ook echt vies en we hadden verschillende soorten ontbijt besteld
• Pareltje (10/5): A night in Paradise - The view, the room, the staff, the surrounding area, the birds!!! It was an awesome experience, it was paradise! The drive upto Kavas and the cabins is very challenging, but totally worth it. We fo recommend a 4x4 which we did not have.
• Daniel (10/5): Will be back! We loved the place and the staff! - The best part about the stay was the staff. They were all super attentive and made us feel welcomed before we arrived. The cabins and all amenities were as advertised. Nothing compares to waking up with nature surrounding you and stunning views.

• Binyamin (4/5): Disappointing - The service of the chef Carolina she was super nice and trying to make everyone happy the room was nice with nice view The hotel doesn' mentioned that the gest needs to carry the luggage 500 meters up the hill we came at night there was no light. Check-in was very complicated and tacked a long time . It's doesn't worth the money management and service was very bad
• Nathalie (10/5): Amazing place - Amazing cabanas in the cloud forest. Breakfast facing such a nature is great. I recommend for those who are nature lovers. Peace and quietness awaits for you. It can be a little cold at night but the hotel provides with enough linen
• Mauricio (10/5): Exceptional - Kavas was a great place to stay with my partner. Close to town but far from the noise and into the nature. Facilities were great with lots of birds and plants. Would definitely recommend. Food in particular was amazing each time and plentiful.

• Stefanny (9/5): Superb - We loved this place. Beautiful cabins on the mountain, surrounded by nature and cows, with an amazing view and fresh air. Attention was amazing, food was delicious. We felt very welcomed and whenever we needed something, they would help us arranging or giving us advice. I would go back for sure. Nothing really. It’s a bit far from Salento so it’s something to consider, but for us it wasn’t a problem.

• Novakovic (10/5): Exceptional - The location and views are breathtaking and the cabins are extremely comfortable with everything you need. We particularly loved the outdoor shower and jacuzzi bath! Staff were really friendly and helpful and helped us to arrange transport and book activities in the area. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was delicious.
• Thuy (10/5): One of the best places to stay in Salento. It’s a bit outside of the city, but the views made up for the rough drive. I - The views surrounding this property was the very reason I chose this hotel.
• Dorothy (10/5): Magical mountain stay with stunning views, a blissful jacuzzi, and amazing food! - Amazing experience in the mountains of Salento, surrounded by trees and above the clouds. The cabin was cute, the outdoor jacuzzi bath was bliss and we loved chilling on the net hammock too. We were very pleasantly surprised by how good the food in the restaurant was - the chef was brilliant! The member of staff at reception was also very helpful and attentive so I can’t recommend this stay enough! Not really a negative, but there is a very steep walk from reception to the cabins.
