• Vlasta (10/5): Very nice place - The flats are nicely decorated, modern, comfortable and in the touristic area of Istanbul (uphill,l but really short walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque). The manager Ali was very helpful and adorable with my elderly parents who arrived late and didn't speak English. He left coffee and water and changed towels during the stay. Internet connection was perfect and the beds comfortable. There's no cooking equipment (apart from the microwave) or real table. But hey, it's Istanbul, with the best food in the world, so cooking is probably not essential. Also, isolation is bad and you can almost hear your neighbours conversations. But again, you are not going to Istanbul for peace and quiet.

• Steve (10/5): Comfortable apartment with enough size for two in a great area of Istanbul. - Nice place to stay. Comfortable. Big enough for two people and check in was easy, I was greeted at the apartment. I was late as my flight was very delayed so after midnight, good communication with the host. Easy to find, but I know the area quite well. Left. Keys in apartment as I was leaving fairly early for the airport. Fjord price for the area. New airport transfer service has started and it’s very reasonable, just book it through any of the many travel shops along the street. Not much it was all good and as expected.

Obok była dostępna łaźnia turecka działająca od 1753 roku. Dobre miejsce aby poczuć lokalne zycie. Dla mnie łóżko było zbyt miękkie, ale to naprawdę bardzo mała rzecz. nie wpływająca bardzo na ogólną ocenę.
• Louise (7/5): Lovely host great area - Great location - very clean. Ali was there to greet us at 2am! He was lovely as was his uncle who ran the cafe next door. Nothing was a problem and dropped us off clean towels etc when requested Maybe s miscommunication but we thought we had booked 2 bed apartment with living area. Ali advised that was a 3 person apartment. Ours didn't have a true living area with the second bedroom also containing small kitchenette so no where to sit except on the 2 single beds. Location and friendly history made up for small miscommunication

Host met us as we came to the door of apartment and provided all necessary information of Istanbul as far as we visited this city for the first time. Our apartment was on the third floor and it's quiet despite this district is a bit noisy.

Central to Grand bazaar, cistern, and mosques. Laundry place just around the corner. Nothing. I liked the apartment and location. Everything was amazing.
• Thomas (9/5): Great location and lovely people! - We enjoyed our stay at Lily Mansion. We appreciated its location within easy walking distance from the heart of the city, while the immediate had an intimate local scale. We liked the park across the road. We found the bed comfortable. We were staying in the ground floor apartment, and found it very quiet, particularly at night. Ali and his father Bülent were helpful, good to deal with, and keen to see that we were well looked after. We enjoyed having our breakfasts next door at Sena Pastanesi. Bear in mind that this apartment is 21 sqm nett floor area (according to the egress plan on the back of the door), the size of a small studio apartment. You enter and leave the apartment through one bedroom and enter and leave the bathroom through the second bedroom, which also contains the kitchenette. It may work alright for a couple with small children. It can be more challenging for four adults. It’s just something to be conscious of when you are booking.

Posizione della casa eccezionale. Spero di ritornare presto. Consigliatissima anche per la zona vicina e comoda a tutto e nello stesso tempo meno caotica di altre. The tram stop is also a 10min walk so it made it easy to get around the city as well😁 Just a tad noisy from the park across the road.

• Rachael (8/5): Great little hotel, in a good location. - Great little hotel, Ali was really friendly and helpful. Loved his families cafe next door. Had a great playground across the road and cheap and nice restaurants all around. It was probably a bit small for a family of 4. But we had small children, so needed a portacot in the room as well.
• Jędrzej (10/5): Great stay, I highly recommend this place - Really great stay, host was very helpful. We arrived early, around 11, while the check in was at 14. We planned to just leave our stuff at the reception or something and go for a walk, but instead we ware able to check in early and even got coffee free of charge while we ware waiting for cleaning to finish. Btw - there is very nice caffe/breakfast bar at the ground level in the same building, we ate there every day, it’s very convenient. During one day of our stay there was no water in entire neighbourhood (in all restaurants in vicinity there ware no toilets available etc) and host provided us with water in 5L bottles as a substitute. Location is good, not to crowded, but still close to the touristic spots. For our next visit to Istambul we definitely will stay in the same place. One note - beds are super soft, my wife loved it, I prefer a bit harder mattresses, but that’s completely subjective. In general I highly recommend this place!

• Mirjam (10/5): Nice apartment in good location, very much recommended for the longer stay - We stayed for 1 week in the top floor apartment, everything was like in the pictures, very nice big room with comfortable bed and separate area with cozy armchairs to drink coffee and watch TV. Outside area not noisy, you can hear a bit neighbors but probably not big issue in top floor. Kitchen area is small but with coffee machine, microwave, freezer and essential utilities to make hot drinks and have a light meal. But also many small restaurants, cafes and pasty shops around to eat or takeway. Location is really good, 10-15 minutes walk to the main attractions like Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque, Grand Bazaar etc. Quick communication with host via WhatsApp, our questions and requests were always answered immediately.
• Warwick (10/5): Highly recommended for a multi day stay in Istanbul - Great location in old town and short walk to main sights, cafes and beautiful cake shop. Very helpful host who organised transfers and responded promptly Nothing. All good.
• Russell (9/5): Great Value period apartment in the heart of Fatih. - Superbly renovated 200 Yr old Mansion in the heart of Fatih, close to many eateries and walkable (uphill, if you have the stamina) to the most popular Istanbul Historic attractions. Ali, who owns and runs this place, his father, and Uncle Ahmed who runs the great little cafe underneath, were all super helpful and could not do enough for us during our stay- repeated housekeeping, help with luggage, advice on transport. A God send in what can be a confusing city to navigate. The apartment itself is well appointed and comfy, although the bathroom ( 2nd floor apartment) was a tad small. Beware steep stairs up, it's part of the original design. The old fashioned design does not do much for sound insulation, both from the busy street outside and surrounding apartments, but its manageable. Public transport is a bit of a trek but better than using the piratical local taxi drivers, all.of whom use Uber too. Don't bother with the King of Grills next door: our only bad meal was here. There are lots of other choices within a 10 min walk.

• Rosemary (9/5): Loved our stay here. Thank you - We were very happy at Lily Mansion. It was a very comfortable space and a great size for relaxing. The bed was wonderful with soft/mould to your body type mattress and perfect weight quilt. The heating worked well and we could turn it on or off as needed. The kitchen was very suitable for our needs. The bathroom was good but small. We were greeted by the host’s father and he introduced us to his friends at the cafe downstairs. We ate there many times and it was an added bonus. The stairs can be awkward for an unfit person. Maybe another railing on the top section. Lighting wasn’t working. Many places In Istanbul have a bathroom smell. It’s best to ignore it and remember that it’s very old plumbing.
• Alex (10/5): Comfortable, compact parkside luxury - The staff here is so kind and considerate, Ali made us feel like family. The rooms were just like the pictures including the luxurious bathroom. We liked being next to a park with a few good restaurants nearby. A 10-minute walk to the famous mosques meant we didn’t have to swim through tourists every day. Breakfast at the bakery downstairs catered well to our group. We loved having a tiny kitchen to use (microwave, tiny fridge, electric kettle, sink) in our room. Lots of sweet details like custom shower soap and tea made us feel welcome! The narrow staircase to our room is typical of a mansion, and we had no problems. Be warned, it would be hard for people with limited mobility.
• Marouane (10/5): the lovely staff and the best stay - the friendly staff, the lovely mood, the communication and really responsive chat the place is clean and has a charm, i stayed with my parents and they just love it also the wifi is available and works fine. I really enjoyed everything, the surrender, just two steps from the calm side of the sea, and just some minutes from the fatih, bazar, the mosques, ... just a thing to improve: maybe need more light inside ... (under the tiny table)

I had a couple of things go wrong such as my suitcase not arriving and Ali was extremely helpful. He even gave the airlines his private number and came over with my suitcase when it arrived at 10.30 at night Nothing was ever too much trouble. Ali's father greeted me with warmth on my arrival and smiled when he saw me in the street .. I had breakfast downstairs everyday in the cafe run by Ali's aunt and uncle. Not only was the food extremely tasty and reasonably priced, it was served with warmth and graciousness and Turkish hospitality. The room itself was large, elegant and comfortable. There were lots of restaurants in the area and it was a 10 to 15 minute walk up quite a steep hill to get to the tram and the main tourist sites. For me Lily Mansion was an oasis in the middle of frenetic Istanbul. I found the stairs up to the second floor to be a challenge. They are quite narrow..

• Kathy (10/5): Amazing 3 unit boutique hotel close to nearly everything with affordable restaurant - Luxury and a great location at an affordable price. Ali and his family are warm-hearted and generous. It really is a perfect situation - a seven-minute walk to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque and many other sights, including a park with wild parrots. Super comfy beds - the softest we found in 3 weeks of travel. And next door Ali's family run a bakery/restaurant, which we would visit twice a day for breakfast and then in the afternoon for tea and cheesecake. The Grand Bizarre and Spice Market are also in walking distance. If we could give an 11 out of 10, we would. The top floor apartment is reached by steep stairs, fine for younger people. The ground floor 2 bedroom apt is great for everyone.

Very comfortable, stocked with all the essentials you could need. Extremely clean! The apartment has a super comfortable bed and sofa. Excellent location. The sights are within a very close walking distance. The hosts are very kind and good people. They were waiting for us at the door even though we arrived very late in the evening. We were looked after with their attention all the time. Without any remarks! Everything was excellent!

Both the main bed and sofa beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. They maintained excellent communication throughout our stay and went above and beyond at every opportunity.

The host was fantastic, very attentive and great with communication. Cafe next door is an added bonus! Kitchen area was in one of the bedrooms which was a bit awkward at times. Overall the venue was a little cramped for a family of 4 but the price and location made up for that.
• Nirwi (8/5): Very good -
• Senuś (8/5): Very good - I loved the oriental decor and the size of the room. The bed was very comfortable. Located on a street with lots of cafes and restaurants and is a mere 10min walk from main attractions in Sultanahmet. Ali, the host, was amazing and very helpful! The electricity is a little unreliable. During the first night the fuses blew out and even when switched back on the A/C wouldn't turn on. We had to wait until next day to get it fixed and didn't sleep much that night because it was so hot. The fuses blew out a couple of more times, but once switched back on the a/c was working.
• Juliette (6/5): Pleasant - The host was lovely and the apartment clean Location wasn't great. Tiny apartment that accommodated 4 people but no space to open bags, except on bed. There were little flees coming through bathroom vent.
• Mark (7/5): Ok accomodation for the price - Staff were very polite and helpful, also very responsive. Some decent places to eat around the accomodation Very small room, can hear every footstep and conversation from the room above. If the upstairs guests are loud it’s very difficult to sleep, we were woken up 3/4 nights from this. Wouldn’t recommend to light sleepers. At the bottom of the hill so quite a hike to Sultanhamet attractions. Extremely soft beds.
• Avril (9/5): Excellent small hotel - Looks just like the photos. On arrival welcomed by the owners of the cafe next door who are relatives and given freshly squeezed orange juice. They also do a good breakfast. Very comfortable bed, water in the fridge. Had the large room on the top floor. Great location about 20 minutes walk to most of the major attractions. Nothing

• Karen (8/5): Very good - The host was friendly and helpful. Location was great and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was quite small and had to walk through the second bedroom to access.
• Celeste (6/5): A few nights in Istanbul - The proximity to the Centre and sights. About 10min uphill walk to tram. 20 mins from Grand Bizarre and 20 mins from Blue mosque Rooms a bit smaller than pictures but adequate
• Karynsi (10/5): Accommodation with heart - A great family run business. 3 bedrooms in a restored Greek house. We had top floor. Amazing comfortable room. Bed is super soft. Amazing staff. A coffee shop run by uncle below super nice and great breakfast and coffee. Excellent location to all major attractions and restaurants everywhere within 10min walk. Ali and his father were delightful. Ali was super helpful and organised airport transfer and riverboat cruise. Thankyou Everything was perfect.

• Dessy (8/5): Very good - Location is centre where you can reach mostly popular tourist destination on foot. The area surrounding by nice restaurants and grocery's shop. The host is friendly and helpful. easy to communicate with . Rooms are very tidy and clean, nice comfy bed you can ask for top up the toiletries . overall recommend to stay here.
• Lynne (10/5): Cozy, convenient apartment in a safe neighborhood. Highly recommended! - We really appreciated being within walking distance of most of the sights we wanted to see during our short stay. Lily Mansion is situated on a street with corner shops and restaurants: we ate really well, and so enjoyed the warmth and genuine hospitality of people we met. We felt safe walking the neighborhood at all hours. Our little apartment was perfect for our needs; everything was very clean ,bed was really comfortable. We appreciated having a fridge and microwave. Ali , the manager was so helpful. We hated to interrupt his Saturday night but we had to call him for help to arrange an unexpected trip back to the airport. He was so gracious! Our taxi was outside at the door in minutes. We would definitely stay here again. Make sure you have WhatsApp loaded on your phone to make local calls.
• Desislava (10/5): Exceptional - All was perfect. A family with 2 kids. Very good location and cozy accommodation. Price/quality is very good. We will be happy to be guests there again in future.
