- Ben (10/5): -
- Sarah-Jayne (10/5): Beautiful cottage, everything we could have wanted -
- Lauren (10/5): Perfect festive weekend getaway - Our third year returning for another fabulous weekend!! The cottage is home from home, clean tidy and well equipped.
- Angie (9/5): -
- Kate (10/5): - Warm cosy cottage. Comfy beds. Well equipped. My second visit, my 1st was summer where we enjoyed the lovely social space in the garden. This time in the winter where we enjoyed the open fire. It's a great house for a family or friends get-together. Communication was very good. Sunday lunch and allocated parking at the Bridge Arms were perfect as the hosts own both the cottage and pub. Great little cafe for breakfast just across the road and lots of good walks on the doorstep. Our stay was too short.
- Mehrekula (10/5): - Our stay at this amazing cottage was truly unforgettable. The owners were exceptionally helpful, always available by phone and quick to assist whenever we needed anything. We absolutely loved the house and can’t wait to return for another visit.
- Suzanne (10/5): - Stunning cottage, so much character but also luxurious. Wonderful bathroom and beautiful garden. Felt very special to stay there as a family.
- Lucy (7/5): -
- Kathryn (8/5): Enjoyable stay and would recommend to others. - Peaceful location. Nice outside garden space at rear. 3 good sized bedrooms. Decent size bathroom and shower. Car parking space in nearby pub . Property was nice and clean and as described.
- Frank (8/5): Nice cottage near Canterbury - Location was great, cottage was nice. there were hardly any glasses available. The price was too high in comparison with other, similarly historic cottages on our holiday trip.
- Helen (9/5): Relaxing, beautiful, full of charm - This is a beautiful cottage with a gorgeous garden. The cottage has so much character and charm, it's on a main street but still quiet. It is a great location for walking, pubs and The Pig at Bridge. I would definitely stay again. There was some delicious locally made bread waiting for us which was a nice touch. As the cottage is so old and full of charm it would have been a great addition to have some info about it's history in the welcome info, just a thought!
- Judith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (8/5): A very nice stay - The cottage was really lovely , but we wasn’t aware that it wasn’t practical for tall people It would have been good that we was informed about the low doorways. But it was a lovely cottage and garden
- Jamie (9/5): Highly recommended for a cosy short stay if you're visiting the Canterbury area -
- Louise (9/5): Superb - Cottage was very pretty , lovely big comfortable bedrooms, lovely shower- we had everything we needed. The garden was absolutely gorgeous, we loved the creature friendliness of it. We parked at the Bridge Arms as directed. It would have been helpful to know the pub was shut on Mondays and Tuesdays as we were ready for a drink after a long drive, but it didn't matter as Red Lion was fine. Would be useful for people to know that the staircase is very steep, we are all fit and active but it would be precarious for anyone less able.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (9/5): We enjoyed our short stay and have already thought about returning. - Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. Extremely comfortable and cosy. No cafetière or coffee maker! But luckily there was a very good coffee shop over the road.
- Lauren (10/5): Home from home - just perfect!!!! - This is our 2nd stay at Arms Cottage and it was just as fabulous as the first. The cottage is clean and well equipped. Perfectly decorated for our festive getaway. We are waiting for their books to open so we can book again for this year. Remembering how to get the oven working.
- Angie (9/5): Perfect getaway with friends. Quite, cosy, festive girly stay - Went away with 3 friends for a day/night. Perfect location and perfect cosy quaint cottage. Bigger than i expected which was a lovely surprise. Stairs would be difficult for anyone with disability or mobility issues. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return at some point. Living area with fireplace, very cosy and was decorated for Christmas ❤️. Rooms were also bigger than they looked in the photos.
- Dominic (10/5): Amazing property and location - thank you. - Amazing quality, comfy beds, huge open fire and amazing food at the Local Pub 😀 Nothing
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Leong (9/5): Superb -
- Janine (9/5): Superb - Great location in main street. Can walk to Bridge Arms and the Pig. Nothing.
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - Natasha kept in touch whenever I had a query. The cottage is beautiful and quite quirky. I would recommend it highly to anyone. One consideration is the stairs that are steep and narrow so not suitable for anyone elderly or incapacitated.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Svetlana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (9/5): Comfortable & charming - Everything Only a few sheets of toilet paper left. So we had to run out and by more for our one night stay. Also the very narrow & steep stairs
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (8/5): Great cottage, just a couple of easily improved details - Great cottage; homely shower drain blocked by human hair; key safe at ground level and almost impossible to see in the dark; no spare toilet rolls
- Kl&jm (10/5): Arms Cottage is wonderful, surrounded by amazing restaurants! -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (8/5): Great place but needs TLC - Location The crockery was dirty in the cupboards. Cutlery and cutlery drawer dirty. The cutlery handles detached from their head. Kitchen utensils on worktop in jar were sticky and needed cleaning. The oven glove had food on it. No coffee machine as advertised.. In the fridge was an opened and partly used margarine. The communication from owner with key code stated we had a table booked at the Bridge Inn. This was in fact closed. When you’re paying £300 a night your expect things to be perfect.
- Fiona (10/5): A really beautiful cottage, spacious and cozy all at the same time. Highly recommended. -
- Lorraine (10/5): Very comfortable - Beautifully decorated, 3 large double bedrooms, pretty garden- a very comfortable stay. Nothing
- Tara (10/5): So charming, but extremely old houses have challenges - So cute! The house is amazingly charming and beds were so cozy. The garden is beautiful! We hoped for nice weather so we could take advantage of such a charming space. The stairs were too steep for people in their 60’s. It was more of a ladder. The signs on doorways that say “duck or grouse” are amusing, but we had multiple head bumps during our stay. The doors are SMALL! Don’t book if you are over 5 feet tall if you aren’t prepared to duck your head for each doorway. Parking is on the street. We struggled to find available parking a couple times.
- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful Cottage in a Lovely Village! - The cottage is absolutely beautiful! I would rush back to stay here. It is beautifully decorated and all amenities are catered for. The location was perfect for us to visit Canterbury and then The Pig for dinner. There was nothing to not like about this cottage.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Lauren (10/5): Christmas Holiday Escape - Charming cottage with great facilities. Beds are so comfy and towels fluffy and soft. Extra touches with Christmas tree and decorations.
- Ann-marie (9/5): Lovely weekend in Bridge - Lovely cottage in Bridge. The fire place was perfect to spend the afternoon relaxing, reading and having some wine. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely bath and shower. Kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. Welcome bread and milk was very considerate. We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed when the weather was very cold so the house was a bit chilly.
- Caoimhe (10/5): Perfect getaway - Everything. Beautiful cottage. Loved all the little extras Nothing an amazing place
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Nice cosy and clean. Nothing
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (10/5): Stunning property - Stunning property, very clean and well presented. The garden was amazing wish we would of stayed longer There was nothing I didn’t like
- Gina (8/5): Very good -
- Wesley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martijn (10/5): Really liked this place, can recommend. - This is a very nice cottage, roomy, nice garden, well equipped. Nice bathroom, nice atmosphere, comfy bed. Supermarket across the street is convenient. Some noise of traffic in the street. Easy to bump your head on the quaint beams of the structure.
- Noa (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing house!! Equipped with everythong you need, spotlessly clean, and the best thing is the atmosphere - an old renovated English cottage with an amazing english garden! Steep stairs to 2nd floor - beware with children (although for our 9 years old it was ok)
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): Relaxing, with home comforts but elevated - Every home comfort you could ask for all very good quality. Very clean. Beautiful features I cannot find one fault. Perhaps the stairs would be difficult if you’re physically limited but that’s only a comment and not a negative.
- Rebecca (10/5): Beautifully appointed, comfortable house. - Beautiful property, very comfortable with every mod con you could need. I wish we had spent more time there as we really only slept there after a friends party. Would be a perfect goose for a whole weekend Nothing
- John (10/5): historic but luxurious! - beautiful kitchen, bathroom and garden-very comfortable very little-closeness to Road for front bedrooms was only observation.
- Rhianne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Schoeman (10/5): Group of 6 - loved our breakaway only a short trip from London - Cosy, comfortable stay
