- Karen (6/5): Disappointed - The outside of property was dirty. The inside decor was tired there was bad smell of drug taking outside property Rooms tired bad stains on chair. Lights not working. Extractor fan wasn’t working on bathroom. This was a birthday gift for my husband
- Briony (4/5): - Firstly got there we booked a view and balcony of the lake they gave us a shabby old room a disabled room with a window onto the lake no tv working no hot water staff was rude to my partner when he spoke to them about this matter told us they didn’t have the room we wanted after lying they then gave us a room with balcony and view no hot water untill we spoke to staff in the morning not great

- Karen (6/5): - Lovely area great views. Restaurants nearby were fine. Room was clean although floor probably needed better vacuum. We moved rooms as receptionist warned showers had been repaired. They were not working very hot no cold coming through but opted to stay in room as view good.

- Esther (8/5): Theatre weekend - Our 2nd stay at Willen Lodge. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. The shower was powerful and it was very quiet overnight. Previously we had a lake view room and this was the better option in my opinion. This time we had a room overlooking the back of the property which was not as pretty! A 25 minute walk to the theatre and restaurants.

- Max (2/5): - I am still waiting on a refund as I got double charged for the room I payed twice when I should only be paying once this is a joke and have been wait 14 business days it’s 120£+ I’m still waiting …
- Matthew (6/5): - Not sure on this. Its a old premier inn hotel by the looks of it. Very dated and unloved communal areas hallways and reception could really do with a good clean and a lick of paint. Room itself had a clean bathroom and everything I needed. Needs some love to bring it back up to standards

I also paid extra for a lake view having said that you have to be quite tall , which I am not ,to enjoy the view from your bedroom. The location was great as you can enjoy a lovely walk around the lake .
- Kerrie (10/5): - Very clean. Perfect place if you want to relax. Absolutely beautiful. The management and the staff. Went above and beyond. I could not rate this place more highly. Both lady’s on reception. Were amazing. A lot of hotels could take tips of these two. Fantastic.
- Esther (8/5): - A lovely view from the balcony over the lake. Comfy bed and good shower. The walk around the lake was beautiful and about a 30 minute walk in the centre of MK. We would definitely stay again. Just remember to check in first before paying for parking. £9 if you check in with the hotel first but £14 otherwise.

- Gary (6/5): - Bit tired and stairs needed a clean but once in the room it was ok. Pub downstairs was not serving meals when I went at around 16.00 due to a problem in the kitchen, these things happen and I walked to the Beefeater - not a great option as it happens ! Location great 👍

- Verified traveler (4/5): For one night stay, it is average - Whether the girl at the desk was really kind and willing, my stay was just average. The building doesn't really look well-maintained, and the room has a very old-fashioned style. I found my bed and bathroom clean enough, but the room itself was covered in dust, and the ceiling was full of cobwebs. Even though the place is in a very good location, the room was really noisy, and you could hear everything from the corridor to outside the building.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good for the price. - Tidy clean room. Bathroom a bit old but clean. Nice hot water with good water pressure. Straight forward check in with an old fashion key. First 10mins of parking is free. £9 parking for 24hrs. Nice location, just wish parking was free.
- Chris (8/5): Lovely lake views - Nice location, with a great view over the lake, staff were very friendly. Only down side was you can hear the other rooms doors banging shut which when busy feel would be really annoying, and the balcony really needs pigeons spikes or cleaning far more often as it was a bit grim. But overall lovely place

- Lukasz (8/5): - Me and my partner stayed here for the night we had an amazing night the view of the lake was really nice from the balcony and the place was really tidy so can’t complain about any of that but one thing I would say that wasn’t the best was the loud music playing from the restaurant below it isn’t too loud but definitely not to the point you can’t sleep but overall our stay was really good and we’re happy with it

The toilet roll was a pull single sheet dispenser as you'd find in a public rest room. The doors were loud and clunky. The tops of the rooms were a bit dusty. The staff were lovely though, very friendly and helpful. A shame I had to pay for parking considering how ample it was, but the hotel does offer some discount.

Toothpaste still in the sink in the bathroom and only 1 big and 1 small towel when there were two Of us staying. Coffee marks on bedside unit. Single bed had rubbish underneath too.Booked a room that I presumed was looking out over the lake and ended up looking over a load of fencing with work being carried out early.

A ripped white curtain only one towel even thought I stated that there was two guest and the one large towel had a hole in it overall terrible. When checking out there was a sign to ring for reception witch I did it was the phone at reception with no one there so had to leave key on side and take a picture of proof that I’ve left it Terrible place to stay

- Graeme (8/5): Good Stay - We had a good 2 nighys stay in this Ex Premier Inn. Very comfortable bed. Unfortunately everything elsei is the same as when Premier Inn sold it, & in need of a good update but we would consider staying again in the future.
- Sylvia (8/5): Fabulous customer service - Stayed one night after a holiday to break the journey home from airport. The room was basic but the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a bath as well as shower in the room. The outstanding part of the stay was the amazing customer service. The manager stayed up late waiting for us to arrive. He arranged for us to ring from the airport so he could be at reception waiting for us. He and his colleague (in the morning) were extremely friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again.

- Anthony (4/5): - Clean rooms. Unfortunately was unable to get any sleep, as there is a really bright fire light in the room which can’t be switched off. Complained to the manager and was told that this is the same in all rooms and can’t be turned off. Otherwise would have given a good rating
- Jayesh (6/5): - Overall stayed for 5 nights was average. First the bad bits. Hotel room and the hotel was very dated, with old fixtures and fittings. Lots of dirt around windows and doors, which needs a full spring clean. TV did not work at times. Good bits, hotel location is amazing. Being next to the lake, had really good views. Hotel staff are very helpful. Bed was comfortable to sleep. Bathroom dated but clean. Anoop, the Hotel manager was extremely helpful and helped me few times promptly. I believe without a person like him, I would not even give the hotel 3 stars. All in ok stay for few nights in my view, but personally would not stay longer based on the price one pays for facilities and condition of the hotel.

- John (10/5): - A home from home, fantastic staff, great view over the lake and the restaurant below the rooms. Parking is a little expensive for 11 nights it was £108.00, if you can look beyond the parking costs this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in around Milton Keynes.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Not ready for guests - Our room had a balcony door that wouldn’t lock and a window that wouldn’t close. We were allocated a new room that we could close, but it was in poor condition, had no WiFi, no tea and coffee facilities, and just one musty smelling towel. The manager informed us in the morning that we were the first guests to stay in that part of the hotel and they were using guests to flush out all of the issues. As guinea pigs really, trying to let out uninhabitable rooms and waiting for the unsuspecting guests to report the very obvious issues. The only saving grace was the night receptionist and staff at the pub downstairs were very nice and were the doing the best with the poor situation they found themselves in.
