• Julia (9/5): Absolutely charming property in a perfect location. Very cosy for a few days stay in any weather - Perfect location. Beautiful and full of charm. Comfortable bed and very clean Nothing I didn’t like really. Wonky bits are part of staying in an historic building. If I had to pick something it is a little tight trying to get around to the other side of the bed as the rooms are small. But this is not a place to stay if you have mobility issues so shouldn’t be a problem for 99% of people. Also no power point in the bathroom. Supplied hairdryer was appreciated but had to dry my hair in the lounge or bedroom because of it.

• Kate (7/5): Great location and a beautiful property! - Beautiful property, really tastefully done in an amazing location! The hairdryer was broken and there were 3 woman trying to get ready for a wedding, the host tried to get housekeeping to help but unfortunately we didn't hear back from her, there wasn't any in the local shops so this really stressful. This should have been tested beforehand because if a property lists it has certain equipment most people wouldn't pack one.
• Julie (10/5): Howman House was everything that was listed and MORE! - The coziness, cleanliness and convenience were ideal! But the unique use of space and decor was exceptional! It was hardt to go outside and enjoy the quaint town because of how inviting the house was. Not a thing!

• Stephen (10/5): Lovely unique property to stay in. - 18th century house with all the querks like beams, sloping floors etc but with all modern facilities and an excellent location in the square in Stow. It was well equipped and clean and fresh. Slightly earlier access information as nice to know before travelling on the day.
• Nadine (10/5): The peaceful and easily accessible accommodations in the Stow-on-the-Wold were exemplary. - The Howman House was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and designed! My husband and I plus our daughter and her husband enjoyed the location in the middle of Stow on the Wold! It was perfect for walking to shops and delicious restaurants! Howman House was my very favorite mix of transitional style, modern features in an old town building!! The bathroom and kitchen has everything needed for a family or pair of adults for longer stays. It’s definitely a place to return to. The owners were very attentive, prompt, and helpful with messages and suggestions. I also highly recommend The Old Stocks Inn had the most delicious food, service, and exceptional presentation. All the restaurants, pubs, shops, bakeries, etc.. were outstanding. Thank you for this wonderful experience. We intend to return for longer next time. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

Mi sarei aspettato un po' più di cura nei dettagli per due notti con 4 ospiti ci stavano a disposizione solo 2 rotoli di carta igienica e 4 capsule di caffè con espresso divieto di prendere le altre che si trovano nell'armadio. Delle piccolezze che però cozzano con la bellezza della casa
• Leanne (10/5): - A beautiful home, very clean and well looked after. Such a fantastic location but also nice, quiet and calm. A really peaceful stay. Bedrooms were a little warm but that's the time of year we stayed.
• Brian (8/5): Pretty and charming home with lovely views. - A very tastefully decorated and clean home located in the prime location. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. A very steep staircase leading to the 2 very small bedrooms. Uneven floors and low doorways.

Extremely warm while we were there, fans & ice cube trays would have helped. We took more showers because of heat, ran out of towels. Honestly, a lovely stay, highly recommend.

Awesome location right in the square, and a great central town for visiting nearby Cotswolds locations. Tons of restaurants and shops basically next door. Stow-on-the-wold is a much quieter town compared to some other touristy Cotswolds towns, and definitely the place to stay.

• Adfchicago (10/5): Excellent stay in the heart of Stow-On-The-Wold - The house is beautiful first of all. The decoration is fabulous. The beds are comfortable and the living room is very cozy. The location is right in Market Square, which provides a variety of dining/shopping options within walking distance. Also, parking is free at night. We used this as our base to explore the Cotswolds. In addition, the host was responsive to our questions during stay as well. If I have to pick one shortcoming, I will say the stairs going up to the third floor are quite narrow. It was a bit trouble to carry a big luggage up. It could be a little difficult for someone with mobility issues.

• Sarah (10/5): Wonderful stay - Gorgeous property in an ideal location. Right in the heart of Stow-on-the-wold. The property is beautifully presented and it was immaculate throughout. The shower was powerful and toiletries and robes were provided. Comfortable bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. Plenty of places to eat and drink. I recommend the Sheep for good, reasonably priced food and the cellar wine bar. Bourton-on-the-water is only a 10 minute drive and worth a visit. The only thing we would have liked is a couple more toilet rolls. It wasn't a big problem though as there was a convenience store just across the road.

Despite it being a heat wave the house was very cool. It was furnished to a very high standard. Very comfy beds. We had the best time & didn’t want to leave. Kacie was the most lovely host & provided us with so many recommendations for local restaurants etc. Thank you Kacie for allowing us to stay in your beautiful property. If you’re thinking of booking Howman House, you won’t be disappointed!!
