- Mary Jo (9/5): Great host; less touristy part of CR - The best thing about this property is the host! She is always available for questions and suggestions (lives on site) but we never felt like she was intruding. This area of CR is beautiful and less touristy so we are so glad we stayed here! Other reviews bemoan the lack of AC but our AC worked great! The property was just a little bit expensive compared to similar places we've stayed in the past but Gaby (host) certainly is an added bonus. If you're used to luxurious mattresses and unending hot water, this isn't the place for you, but if you're into getting to know your host, and possibly other guests, this is the place for you! I think screens on some of the windows/doors would be nice. The bedroom we were in only had French doors so if we wanted to lock the doors at night, it got a little stuffy (also a couple wasps flew in when we had the doors open)
- Hendrika (10/5): Quiet place with beautiful surroundings - A lovely quiet place. Very friendly host. Gaby called me when the spider monkeys were in the trees . So nice! Nearby beaches. Lovely view over the ocean from La Cruz, with nice restaurants.
